The hotel in itself is great but the best part is the fact that you can get the first runs on the pists every day. The view is also great, and the food is fine considering its on a mountain top. All in all a great hotel.

Abbiamo scelto di passare un fine settimana lungo al Sestriere e per il nostro soggiorno abbiamo scelto La tana della volpe. Situato a 2.600 mt è raggiungibile solo con la seggiovia del Banchetta che parte da Sestriere Borgata, dove è possibile lasciare l'auto o, in alternativa, con una motoslitta. All'arrivo a Borgata potete lasciare il bagaglio dove indicato e andare subito a sciare, la sera lo ritroverete in hotel. Il panorama è bellissimo e dopo aver finito di sciare, potete ancora godere del sole fino al tramonto con una bella birra o una golosa cioccolata con panna. Massimo, il gestore, è il classico uomo di montagna di poche parole ma buon intenditore di vino e con un'ottima cantina! I ragazzi dell'hotel sono giovani e simpatici e rendono il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Un sole meraviglioso ha dato la pennellata finale ad un quadro perfetto!

Spettacolo, non so 5 stelle perché a mio parere 5 sono la perfezione, e non la trovi praticamente mai, torniamo a noi, è uno spettacolo ma... E già c'è un ma... Va benissimo per chi ha un 4x4 meglio se "cattivo", all uscita di Sestriere sulla dx trovate un parcheggio, parte una stessa sterrata che raggiungete solo con un 4x4 e solo se non nevica, arrivate a 2600 mt, vista stupenda, solo voi e la natura, l'hotel è ricavato nella vecchia fermata della funivia, se volete potete anche proseguire fino a circa 2900mt ma serve un mezzo adeguato 😉, il titolare e la sua compagna sono simpaticissimi e cordiali, la cuoca fa bene da magngiare e i prezzi sono ottimi, (noi due adulti e un bambino) 190 notte colazione e cena, meglio di così.

La vista vale da sola il pernottamento: in camera avevamo una finestra enorme che ci consentiva di vedere bene fino a Sestriere e, di notte, un cielo stellato che in città non possiamo nemmeno immaginarci. Anche il locale della cena è tutto a vetrate (è il locale in cui un tempo arrivava la funivia da Sestriere) e permette di vedere il tramonto, quando ormai tutta la valle è al buio. Cena con piatti semplici, ma gustosi. La nostra camera era ampia, ben arredata, anche con elementi d’arredamento (es. vecchie foto di Sestriere in cornici di legno o coperte shabby chic) che contribuivano a rendere la camera calda ed accogliente. Tutto l’albergo è disseminato di elementi “curiosi”: vecchi sci, arcolai, pelli d’orso, oltre agli ingranaggi della vecchia funivia. Considerando l’altitudine e la difficoltà di collegamento “con la civiltà”, il servizio è adeguato e confortevole.

Wat een geweldige ervaring, bovenop de berg met magische uitzichten. Een super aardig team en fijne warme en gezellige kamers in berghut stijl, goede bedden en fijne badkamer. Je bereikt het met een stoeltjeslift en kan alleen per ski naar beneden. Daar hadden wij niet aan gedacht (wij dachten dat je ook met stoeltjeslift naar beneden kon) en omdat onze kinderen nog niet konden skiën zijn we in de ochtenden naar beneden gebracht met de sneeuwscooter, hoe leuk is dat! Op de aankomst en vertrekdag haalt en brengt Massimo de gasten met bagage . De andere keren moet je wel betalen maar dat is natuurlijk terecht. Wij hebben genoten! Dankjewel Massimo en team.

Séjour inoubliable au sommet de la montagne en famille. De l’arrivée à l’hôtel en motoneige, l’accueil de Massimo, la décoration de l’hôtel et les chambres, les petits plats du cuisinier et la gentillesse de tous les membres de l’équipe ont fait de ce séjour un moment magique. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir en prime un grand soleil. C’est une expérience unique de dormir à 2600m et de profiter de cette vue. Je ne peux que conseiller cet hôtel, nous sommes tombés sous son charme. C’est simple et accueillant, la décoration montagnarde est très réussie, les chambres sont propres et beaucoup de petits détails pour vous rendre le séjour plus agréable, mention spéciale pour les chaussures de ski chaudes tous les matins! Merci à tout le staff pour ce séjour!

Abbiamo trascorso duw giorni e una notte di quasi luna piena presso questa struttura. Massimo e il suo staff sono stati gentilissimi. Ci hanno permesso di lasciare i nostri bagagli fin dal mattino. La vista è spettacolare. Si può godere del sole fino all'ultimo momento. La sera è ancora più bella, con la luna che sorge alle spalle e illumina l'intera valle. Il momento più bello però è l'alba, dove la luna si attarda a scomparire esattamen e di fronte alle finestre delle camere. Le camere sono tutte in legno e ristrutturate da poco, ma il pezzo forte sono le finestre: noi abbiamo dormito con le tende aperte per goderci la vista! Il ristorante è ricco di ricordi dei vecchi sciatori e cenare a lume di candela con tale vista è impagabile. Devo poi aggiungere che anche il cibo è stato all'altezza delle aspettative. La colazione è servita alle 8, che è perfetto visto che gli impianti aprono alle 9! Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo.
