Reception/Check-in Arrival was very pleasant and the lady that checked us in was wonderful. However the rest of the stay went downhill from there. Room The room was clean and a decent size. However, on the first day we found the shower was broken and the towels were stained. I rang reception, who sent up new towels - but there was no apology, and their response was just "it's fine". I wrote a short note to the manager about the shower and the towels - but never heard anything back (although the shower was fixed that afternoon). The loo roll was from a dispenser - something you'd not even expect in a 3* hotel. The loo roll also ran out. The soap and body wash were also from cheap plastic dispensers - again, you'd definitely not expect this in a 5* hotel. The soap by the sink ran out and was not replaced. The view from the balcony was of a very close tree - so you couldn't see the garden or anything other than the tree (we were in the Paradi Suite) Dining area The dinner menu was very big - there is no way that one chef in a small kitchen can produce that range of food well. Lunch was mediocre. Breakfast was decent though, although during breakfast one morning we were late down, and the lady was spraying cleaning liquid on the tables around us, which was very poor. There was zero atmosphere in the restaurant - so don't bother with it unless you like sitting in a large and quiet room, and go out to eat instead. (Bliss Hotel down the road was excellent in comparison, as was Les Roches about 15 mins drive away but book it) Other The pool was fantastic, and empty, which was good. We borrowed snorkelling equipment which was old and perished and no good for our trip up to Anse Lazio, which was bad. They had an offer of a free car rental for the stay, which was excellent. General In all, it was a substandard stay for a relatively expensive 5* hotel. I'd not recommend at all. Waste of money.
