Great beer served by great staff in a great location. Shoutout Ben (the bartender) for the recommendation. Although the road was rather loud the beer, the hotel and the dinner were all lovely. I can highly recommend the halloumi skewers, the lemon dressing was sensational.

We only booked a couple of days prior but it was fantastic. Above and beyond what we were expecting It was myself and partner and sister and brother in law staying over after being at a nearby day spa. Birthday treats

Lovely hotel in a great village (Prestbury). All the staff were really friendly and helpful, although it did feel a bit strange walking through to the bar to check in, but no problem with this. Food in the restaurant was good, especially breakfast.

The hotel in general is nice but our experience of the room wasn’t great. It was very dark with no natural light whatsoever. Unsure if all rooms are like this though. We stayed in the annex building on the ground floor and barely slept as we heard every footstep of the people above us which caused the ceiling to creak incredibly loudly and rattled pipes as they walked too. Could hear every tap and every toilet flush too. The staff were lovely and hotel was clean. Food was great and the area was very pleasant.

Plenty of free parking. Check in was straight forward, the person at check in even offered to help us with our bags. The room itself (room 11) was clean spacious and comfortable, we slept very well. Didn't have an evening meal but did enjoy drinks in the welcoming bar and beer garden. Breakfast was great, very good continental selection and the cooked breakfast was also great. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. On the downside the WiFi was an absolute pain, and not very good. TV was small, and the floor boards in our room were very creaky. All in all our experience was a positive one and we would stay again.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Prestbury. Rooms good and the staff were very attentive. Sunday lunch was fab and there are pleanty of other local pubs and bars to visit for variety Would definitely stay again if in area

Lovely staff throughout, very enjoyable dinner with a large crowd of us. Beds not too comfortable and some maintenance issues with the loos (flush kept free-flowing after use).
