This is by far the worst place for a business trip. No wifi coverage to work in rooms, rooms with doors that can easily compromise your privacy. We just ate dinner in the dark!! I am writing this hoping management will see it and rescue us!!! I mean how do you NOT have stable wifi in 2024, as an establishment?

Not as shown on the website. The luxury rm wasn’t impressive, the carpets dirty and had a foul ar tench that triggered my sinus. Left the place in a sick condition.

Booked for the weekend to relax in what we thought was a luxury hotel only to find the place in a total mess after a year end party on Friday, chairs & tables lying around. Broken glass on the floor etc. Checked in, they did not have a baby cot so our 2 year old had to sleep on the floor. There is no wifi in our room, management try to fix it but then just shrugged his shoulders after several attempts to reboot. Worst was yet to come. There was another year end party booked for Saturday, this time it was total chaos. We went to get someting to eat at a close by restaurant as the in house restaurant only have 2 options and when we came back the security wanted us to park outside the property in a field, after convincing him we will not, they still wanted us to park about 600m from our unit and then the worst part came. They allow their year end party goers to party until after 4am, turning the place into a night club. We did not sleep at all. Will never come back. Shocking management of a beautiful property.

They had renovation work going on and did not inform us about it prior to bookings. They set a table outside when there was a cold front and when we requested a table inside, there were conference guests working up and down right next to our table. The table was not clean, food came in batches and half an hour after others were done eating. It was a mess!!!!!

On arrival at my room (Monday afternoon) there was still all the prior guests rubbish on the verandah floor. Balloon holders, confetti, bits of random cardboard etc. I was booked into a luxury room, supposedly with aircon according to the website, but it is actually just a fan. There is no aircon in the room (false advertising). The king size bed has been replaced with a rock hard queen size bed, as the website advertises king beds for luxury rooms. The linen is frayed and tatty. Watermarks on the side tables, mildew on the bathroom ceilings. The food was very average, and Catering for vegetarian and halaal colleagues was horrific. Cheap and nasty halaal meals were ordered in at an offensive cost, chef kept forgetting to make vegetarian meals, so my colleagues had to eat veggies and rice for lunch and dinner, and he once suggested my colleagues just eat the fish dish. This was once a lovely meeting venue. Sadly it seems to have deteriorated significantly.

Year end function No ice available, no water on tables. Staff surly and rude. The. They brought ice for human consumption in champagne cooler with no spoon or ladle we had to grab it with our hands. I am vegan - my office arranged the menu in advance for our high tea - this is what I received- brownie, cupcake and slice of banana bread so full of bicarbonate that it was inedible. How does one screw up banana bread?. When I asked for savoury items which were agreed in advance I was told to eat what is on the table 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 then they brought out carpaccio and smoked salmon - what the 😱😭🤬🤬😱. I took it back spoke to the exec chef and he said he will make us something - disgusting drivel. You decide if this meal was worth the money! I would say avoid at alllllll costs shocking and my body is struggling to cope as I have been unwell for past 12 hours
