Wolvekraal Guest Farm

Beautiful, secluded stay What a beautiful and secluded place to stay. We had the pleasure of staying at Wolvekraal for two nights just prior to Christmas. Check in was flexible. We enjoyed how secluded our cottage felt, also benefitting from a splash pool in the 42 degree heat! The property had sufficient space and had a lovely rustic feel. We enjoyed some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Good braai facilities too. Close to the Karoo National Park, Prince Albert and the Swartberg. Great value for money. Hosts Berlinda and Andre gave us really helpful recommendations about what to see on the rest of our road trip. Just be aware of the mosquitos - there are nets around the beds and on windows in the property but we'd recommend repellant!

Wolvekraal Guest Farm is wonderfully situated a few kilometres outside Prince Albert. You have a fantastic view of the Swartberg Mountains and can take wonderful walks on the farm. My cottage (Soetdoring) was super cosy, beautifully furnished, extremely clean and had everything I needed. It is also perfectly secured with a second gate and alarm system. According to the booking, Wi-Fi should only be available at reception, but I also had reception in the cottage (with eSIM). The silence is very soothing, you can practically only hear birdsong. Prince Albert is a charming little place where you can get everything you need and go out for a delicious meal if necessary. At the weekend, however, the pavements are rolled up by 3 pm at the latest, only the supermarket is open longer. If you really want to switch off and relax for a few days, Wolvekraal is the perfect place!

We were a party of four adults that embarked on a road trip to Langebaan in the Western Cape. We booked a chalet at Wolvekraal Guest Farm for an overnight stay, and we were very impressed with our choice of this establishment. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and our accommodation was absolutely first class. Wolvekraal Guest Farm comes highly recommended wether it be for an overnight stay, or an extended holiday. Absolutely first class!!!

This place is an absolute must see! The room was exceptional and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Stunnig mountain views (Swartberg) I will be returning to this gem on my next round tour.

Just an excellent camping spot! Great views, quiet and offers a lot more than just your own ablutions. Made another booking right after we left, can't wait to return during August.

Good value for your money. Enjoyed the quietness. Shower was a bit on a challenge but we got clean. Thank you a nice visit.
