The owner was very responsive and kind when myself and at least one other person got stuck in snow. Super clean room and i slept the best i have in ages. Comfie bed and room. Warm room. Hot chocolate was also welcomed. Didn't stay for breakfast as needed to get to work. I live locally and would recommend this BB as a very good place to stay

The property was fair and they did have a good breakfast. But that the town who is lacking in dining and other amenities it's a very small town. One would be better to stay in Princetown.

Visit to Dartmoor
Very pleasant one-night stay in Dartmoor. Lovely hosts. Major kitchen renovation was underway, so breakfast wasn't available during our stay. Several good options for meals right down the street. Room was very comfortable. Easy access to hiking trails right from town.

A lovely place, friendly, welcoming staff and the most delicious breakfast I have tasted. I appreciated the small touches, homemade flap jack and make up flannel! I would definitely return again if I was to visit that area again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What can you say everything was excellent as it always is. Richard and Caroline really do a fantastic job and Duchy House Bed & Breakfast is a credit to them both. The winter offer of a cream tea was really appreciated and good, plus the snow couldn't ask for more.

Spacious warm room and en suite bathroom all in good order inc comfy bed. First class full English breakfast inc gluten free toast which was appreciated. I was hiking from Ivybridge to Okehampton across Dartmoor and this made for a perfect half way stop

Lovely House, easy off street parking, warm and welcoming proprietors. Immaculately clean, super comfy bed and quiet at night. Great selection of teas to wake up to, Nice shower. Breakfast was excellent and no effort spared in attentiveness. EXCELLENT

Parking at back was included, room was functional with ensuite and double bed. We loved the nespresso machine and the homemade flapjacks. Breakfast was also good. Price very reasonable. Handy to the village and central Dartmoor. Happy with stay.
