I consider this structure to be of good quality and cared for, furthermore the furniture is not out of date and is that of good quality hotels, b Breakfast is also good and personally I prefer the 2 technological machines strategically positioned on the 2 sides of the breakfast room, to avoid having to bother the waiters or rather the waitresses, every time for a cappuccino. For 50 eur a day, you can't expect them to serve you breakfast at the table, what do you think? For this there are hotels from 180 eur per day What I did not understand is why by asking for something at the bar out of hours, they believe that you want to consume for free, while in reality you want to pay normally as you pay in any bar, only that by making a hallucinating / African heat, you prefer consume in the hotel (not for free), however in general they are professional As for the employees, I believe that we should not hire on the basis of the inequality between the sexes, because the professionalism of a person is not evaluated on the basis of gender and the inequality between the sexes is not something that I approve of. You must also avoid the requirement that customers say thank you, because you must do what you are paid for regardless of the thanks given by the customers. But I understand that in the end these are girls with little experience and who are hired exclusively on the basis of gender, In general they are professional, with sufficient votes, please do not.

This is - without any frills and fancy stuff - a good hotel. A good hotel in terms of friendly staff, clean rooms, alll the amenities you need for a weekend getaway and a good location just some 15 minutes walk to downtown. Good housekeeping - that is a rare thing to find these days. Parking is free and there is plenty of parking. Whilst we never had breakfast there, we did go for a few drinks in the evening - good service and very reasonalby priced. Been there three times meanwhil and will certainly stay there again on a future occasion

I was sorely disappointed with this property. I totally agree with a recent review: the rooms at this new property are entirely TOO HOT and UNCOMFORTABLE. Even when booking the hotel, I was met with complications, regulations and stupidity. On a prepaid reservation via Hilton Honors, one of my primary credit cards had been recently changed/deactivated and I tried valiantly to get the problem rectified, only to have the hotel email a form attached that required a written authorisation, plus identification to be scanned/faxed back to the hotel. I didn’t have access to a scanner/fax on the road. After several calls via Hilton Honors desk to the property, sanity prevailed and was able to verbally give the proper active credit card over the phone to the hotel. Upon arrival, the room was like an oven at 28c (82F). I opened the windows (they only open up about 8cm (3in) in the hope that things might cool down after I had gone out sightseeing in Brescia for a few hours. By evening, it had only “cooled” to 25c (77F) – and this was at 9:00PM. I rang the front desk to see if something could be done. I took matters into my own hands, going directly to reception, requesting a room that was not on the sunny side. I was told nothing was available on the opposite side. Mind you, this hotel with over 135 rooms was far from busy and all they would say is that regulations prohibit air-conditioning being turned on this time of year [April] however, the hallways of the hotel were cooler than the room itself (all reception would say is that the halls are ”inside”, and thus cooler). And like a clueless robot, reception repeated, “open the window, open the window” (the ones that only open a few cms/inches) The new room was a “cooler” 24c (75F). Needless to say, I didn’t have a restful night in my sauna of a room – with windows open, and the noise of outside street traffic & pedestrians. I managed to squeeze in a few hours sleep due to pure exhaustion, waking up tired & irritable. The buffet breakfast was small & cramped, the food palatable from the small choices available. Oh yeah, one minor thing I've noted: in both rooms, there were heavy metal tissue holders in the bathroom, but no tissues - either the hotel is poorly managed, or they are too cheap to provide tissues (Kleenex). This is my first (and last) trip to the Brescia Doubletree - what a bunch of dopes!

Overall, my experience at the hotel was a bit mixed. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the overall positive vibe of the property. However, I couldn't help but notice that the hotel was poorly maintained, which was a bit disappointing given the size of the facility. It was clear that the hotel catered to large events such as conventions and weddings, as the property was quite expansive. The decor was a bit confusing, with a mishmash of palace frescos and modern art that didn't quite seem to mesh well together. It left me feeling a bit sad, as I could see the potential for a truly magnificent hotel experience if the interior was updated and refreshed. Despite the tired interior, the hotel was clean and well-kept. Dinner at the hotel was tasty and satisfying, and breakfast was generous and delicious. Overall, while there were some downsides to the hotel, the friendly staff and good food made up for it to an extent. With some renovations and updates, this hotel could truly be a standout destination for travelers.

A wonderful experience! Beautiful, elegant hotel, impeccably clean beautiful room (Quadruple, plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids), breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and finally a REAL cappuccino for breakfast, none of that UHT horrible milk!! The Spa was just perfect!! I only gave 4/5 because unfortunately we didn't get to eat in the restaurant but I am sure the food is wonderful! The staff were very helpful and friendly! We wish to express our gratitude and say a special “Thank you “ with a most favorable review to post anywhere I am able to share our opinion of every aspect of your wonderful property. We visited the property when it was first constructed, and the current renovation is breathtaking! No expense was spared. From the moment you enter, The Bellerive is impressive to all the senses. Very elegant, tasteful contemporary design, subtle but pleasing colors, Excellent Wi-Fi and AC. The attention to details for comfort and design are evident throughout the spacious, luxurious guest rooms and bathrooms. Perfect breakfast, couldn’t ask for more. Best morning doppio cappuccino ever! Cheerfully served, along with freshly-squeezed orange juice, referred to as “Sprematura.” Inviting pristine pool, wonderful lounges and pool beds, surrounded by tranquil gardens. Nothing is spared- The hotel even provides a full-time lifeguard! Most Attentive Staff! The old- world quality of dedicated service overflows here. I think in Italy special training is mandatory, (and everyone speaks flawless English) but each of the staff naturally exude warmth and caring. All areas of personnel are exceptionally courteous, smiling and quick to respond to any requests. At the Bellerive, they go one step further than above and beyond. Nestled in a serene stretch in Salò’ overlooking the lake, most rooms have a terrace with direct view of the sailboats moored. Adjacent is a delightful park for children to explore and de-energize. Little stroll to best gelato at La Romana Gelateria. Excellent cuisine is served in the hotel as well as cocktails on the patio overlooking the passagiata. The free secure car parking area on the gated hotel grounds was most appreciated and convenient. Compliments to everyone, including Ottavia, Lucrezia, Giuseppe, Andrea, and the especially to the gracious and brilliant General Manager, Alessandra, Brava! With our respect, appreciation and warmest regards, Gloria and Gianni Roggio

Don't expect too much as it's just a standard hotel. I got there after the check in time, I received my key and when I got to the room, it wasn't done. So I waited for about 40 minutes for it. When I finally could use the room I realized the roller flush didn't work so I had to change room and waisted kind of 2 hours in total. The room has a very nice view on the lake Garda but it's just standard, not all cleaned, there was even a glass used by the previous guest in the kitchen not washed, air conditioning doesn't refresh much and I couldn't change the temperature. The bed is fine but pillows are very thin and uncomfortable. The pool at non gets a lot of shadows because of a big tree which is annoying. Breakfast is fine and the restaurant is ok. Not sure I'll come back there again

Stayed for 4 nights as a family of 5 Hotel is in a great location on the south west of the lake. Service was very good. Very welcoming. They will park your car which is helpful as the car park is pretty full of cars Rooms were good with lovely views of the lake and small balconies. Breakfast was a buffet with some a la carte egg options. Good variety and some good gluten free options Ate in the fish restaurant a couple of times - this was superb in terms of service and food We also ate at the bar in the evening. Service here was very slow and the food not so good Kids loved swimming in the lake and lazing around We took a boat trip for the afternoon down to Sirmione which was an excellent experience on the water and also looking around Sirmione (though it is very packed with tourists)

One of the worst experiences of my life, which I feel obliged to share! Total lack of professionalism and quality of services absent to say the least. To make a long story short, in addition to many other inconveniences (total incompetence in managing allergens, sockets not working, air conditioning not working, broken mosquito nets, dilapidated bicycles, etc.), on the second day my partner and I realized that the towels were not had been changed, even though we had left some on the floor as is usually done in hotels and had marked them to prevent them from being re-proposed as clean. The owner, an apparently pretty 75-year-old lady, insisted several times that she had changed them personally, convinced that she could fool us. After reluctantly changing them for us, he continued to insist, even the following morning, that the towels had been changed and that our demand was unreasonable. After much insistence, the argument arose in which the lady threatened my partner with a slap and then, pulling her by the wrist, tried to snatch the mobile phone from her hands. Afterwards the daughter, who intervened to resolve the dispute, believed that we were doing ****** just to save money, although it would have been a sign of professionalism to have paid at least the second night after the immense inconvenience caused to us. At this point we paid the requested amount in full rather than being treated like beggars as well as being ridiculed and we left this nightmare hotel behind.

Lovely small hotel. We booked after seeing positive comments on trip advisor and were not disappointed. Great staff who were so helpful and really seemed to work as a team to make your stay good. Hotel, pool and grounds were kept immaculately clean. We made a last minute booking in a ”classic room” which was probably a bit more traditional in style than their other more modern rooms but suited our needs and was comfortable, clean and ideal as it was a quiet room on ground floor with outdoor seating overlooking gardens. Wide range of fresh food for breakfast. The hotel doesn't do evening meals but does snacks/ light bites and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of hotel. Hotel is located about 40 mins leisurely walk into the bustling historical centre of Sirmione. Alternatively a bus stops directly across from hotel for centre and runs around every 10 mins. A short walk to another bus stop takes you directly to Verona ( for only a few euros) and other lake destinations. We liked the quieter hotel location close to small marina and nice restaurants used by locals as well as visitors. Staff were very helpful arranging taxis too and from airport ( approx half hour journey) as they can be busy so pre book for important trips.

GGuest UserWe stayed 5 nights here in early July as part of a coach party and to be honest was a little bit apprehensive -based on some earlier reviews. Well, we were more than satisfied !! We had a huge bedroom with plenty of storage space, a separate large kitchen with kettle and fridge, bathroom with shower and a large double balcony spreading across both the bedroom and kitchen. From the balcony we could glimpse Lake Garda -it was on the corner of the hotel, but, quiet enough. There is air conditioning which was much appreciated when we were there !It was on an upper floor, but, there is a lift. Breakfast was very impressive except for the fiddly little teacups with oddly designed handles-but, really I'm nit picking there ! Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice-both hot and cold-sets you up for the day. As we were part of a tour group we had to choose our evening meal in the morning. The choice again was absolutely fine-the food was really good and tasty and the service was great. Evening meal was a buffet starter followed by pasta then a meat/fish dish with vegetables followed by a small dessert-often a cake. I think vegetarians were well catered for . Alcohol was available for purchase and added to your Room number. Plenty of seating around the hotel and the pool is lovely-when we had time to use it. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and the area is so beautiful ! We went with an Edwards Coach trip and had a wonderful time-so much to see in the area. Every member of staff was unfailingly friendly and polite and all worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly -a splendid hotel !

GGuest UserFabulous location, just off the main square and the bars/restaurants. Boats/ferry virtually on the doorstop, so never had to go too far if we didn't want to. Train station about 15 mins walk away, easier downhill, not so quick on the way up with bags! For some reason I was expecting a smaller family run hotel. It seemed to be much bigger than I expected and that 'family feel' was lacking unfortunately. Majority of the time there was no one at reception and other than one staff member (or family) the rest seemed pretty uninterested. The hotel room was brown and although had 2 windows, looked onto the back of the building making the room felt quite dark. It was quiet though as long as the windows were closed and the room was clean. A continental breakfast was included. We were there for a week and unfortunately after the first couple of days there was no fruit available and from day 3/4 most of the breakfast offerings were mostly gone at least half hour before breakfast ended, which led to a few disgruntled guests and a few leaving still hungry. Other than breakfast, we did eat at the hotel a couple of times. The food was nice, though I felt a bit overpriced. Service was good on the first occasion but pretty indifferent on the second occasion. It felt like the owners' priority was on running the restaurants, which were busy, both at lunchtime and evening. The hotel was very convenient but overpriced for what it offered...but then I guess we went peak time...! I don't think I would rebook the hotel if I was to go back to Desanzano.

GGuest UserI chose to stay at the Centro Paolo VI when I booked a trip to Italy at short notice, inspired by the good reviews on Trippadvisor. My experience was predominantly positive. Room was clean, with good air-conditioning. The furnishings were simple. The bed was, perhaps, a little too firm for my taste, and a bit low for a bloke with a bad knee. :-) Lighting in the bedroom might have been a bit brighter. The bathroom was clean, although, as mentioned by some other reviews, the shower was a bit tight. The building is a bit of a mixture. In part, it is a grand baroque palace, but other parts are much more functional. It has clearly been in institutional use for a long time. I gather that, before taking on its present function in 1975, it had been a seminary. It remains a church foundation, and functions mainly as a conference centre, offering meeting rooms for far more more people than it could accommodate overnight. Its lifts, as remarked in some less positive reviews, are decidedly old-fashioned but were perfectly adequate to get me and my luggage up and down, which is, after all, the only thing you need a lift to do. So far as food is concerned, breakfast was served in buffet style, with staff bringing coffee or tea to guests at their tables. Weather permitting, breakfast can be eaten outside in the garden. What was less helpful about the very obvious conference centre purpose was the situation about evening meals. For the first four evenings of my stay, I ate in the restaurant. Choice was a bit limited, but the food was tasty and served by a friendly waiter. On the fifth night, a Sunday, I cheerfully set off to the restaurant, only to find it closed. Not only is it always closed on Sundays, it was now closed for a summer break until 28 August! This is NOT notified on the web site, nor any any notice displayed in the building. This may make perfect sense for a conference centre in a period when nobody is arranging conferences, but is awkward for holiday accommodation. The building is in a quiet area, but is served by buses on neighbouring streets. Brescia's complex one-way system means that, for example, the 12 from the station stops one street away at the front, but the bus going towards the station stops a couple of streets to the rear. It is only about 5 minutes' walk to the biggest cultural site of the city, the Santa Giulia Museum, and other places of interest are within walking distance. Staff were invariably friendly and helpful. Incidentally, if you are going by car, booking directly with the institutions gets free parking in a safe, enclosed yard.

GGuest UserWe were welcomed immediately by the girl at the reception that was really good to give us all the explanations needed for the two days and on how to move to get to the center, cave parking included in the very convenient price, hotel in a good location to get to the center walking (20-25 minutes) and 100 meters from the metro stop that brings you directly to the center in 10 minutes, good and abundant breakfast even if the 1 January were not present because the cornets were to that who said the servant the bakery was not open that day (I can't see why they were not seen that we paid as the other days), this was the only bad note, spacious room with a so large and full bathroom (we had Sky in the room), perhaps a refreshment of the rooms would not be bad, as they are a little date but well equipped.

GGuest UserQuite a grand entrance that continues up into the room which was booked as a small single but was still presented in a rather grand manner. The staff were the real highlight though. All at reception were helpful and friendly- and knowledgeable when asked. Couldn’t ask for better.

GGuest UserThe service at reception was very friendly. We were offered an upgrade on site for €15/night, which meant we were in a renovated room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. We can't say anything against the room facilities, but we didn't have WiFi reception in the room. The room service was mediocre, we had to make our own bed two days in a row. The outdoor area is definitely in need of renovation and is only impressive because of the view. However, the numerous parking options and the location (10-15 minutes walk to the center, but there is also a shuttle for €1.5 per person, each trip) are positive points. The breakfast was OK, unfortunately there was little choice for vegetarians and the large hall and the noise reminded us of a canteen. We preferred to have dinner in the city, which would have cost €22 per person in the hotel. Overall, solid for a 3-star hotel, great view but a big minus point: no WiFi!
