Best Hotels near Municipal Museum of Tossa de Mar, Province Of Girona

Just back from a weeks stay. This apart hotel is spotless. Small mix up at check in but, we went up to our room, and the receptionist came up after about 10 mins with apologies and all was sorted. Our air conditioned apar**ent had everything you need for self catering, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle,2 ring induction hob. Plates, cutlery cups and glasses for 4. Plenty of plugs. Table in the apar**ent and on the balcony. Small washing up liquid dish cloth and towel. Clothes airer and mop and brush. Complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. We had twin beds which were close together, but think they were larger than your average single, so as best friends wasn't a problem. Really comfortable beds and pillows. The sofa does pull out to a bed so could have used if needed. Good sized bathroom, walk in shower. Clean towels most days(if left in bathroom changed), bed changed twice I think, but made most days except the weekend. Room cleaned through the week.Balcony doors in the bedroom and kitchen/dining area. Good for cooling down the room. We didn't have breakfast, but it was a buffet style looked lovely and we could have for €7a head, served till 11am. We were on the top floor, end room overlooking the pool, lovely and quiet. The pool is spotless,separate children's splash pool it is small and can imagine it's busy at high season. Mainly couples and families with small children when we were there Plenty of sunbeds and reclining chairs sun all day. There's a separate patio area where you can take your drinks or food. Bar prices for a hotel were very good. It does close at 8pm. 10-20 mins to walk to the beach through the old town all flat though. We did find a more direct route which is bit quicker so ask reception to show you on the map. Plenty of supermarkets on either way into town. Lovely bar just down the road. Staff friendly and welcoming. For a relaxing holiday, comfortable clean friendly base, it was perfect and I would recommend.

See the sea view room map without hesitation to book a three-person room with sea view! Say good 180 degree sea view and pool view, came to the hotel but arranged a second floor, there is no pool view, only 60 degrees sea view! Going to the front desk, Complaint told me that the room with pool view + sea view is small. I don't dare to book a foreign hotel in Ctrip next time.

Let's talk about the advantages first, and eat a lot around. In the last 2 days, I found out that going out is a children's paradise, and the children are crazy. The children's paradise goes to the opposite side of the beach and there is a local restaurant (garlic restaurant) that offers seafood platters and good value for money. Going to the beach for 10 minutes, the old street is also there. The hotel has a swimming pool, the water is too cold, and there is a heated pool, upstairs. The room feels like home, simple, if you don't ask for a night. The 5-year-old child was charged 6.04 euros a night for an extra bed and breakfast. Parking is a difficult point. We fell on Saturday afternoon and finally turned 3 laps to find a seat. Look at the next few days, unless you are very early or late, there is usually no parking. Breakfast is simple, bread, egg, cheese, ham, bacon, fruit and vegetable yoghurt, coffee tea, orange juice. There is no water or hot water in the room. Go to the supermarket and buy it, not far away.

First time visiting this hotel and would defiantly recommend people to go. From the first check-in to check out there was nothing one could complain about. The staff were so friendly through all areas of the hotel. There was a great variety of food for everyone and so fresh. The cleanliness was amazing, part of the hotel was cleaned nearly 24 hours per day. The only critic or observation I have is the jacuzzies by the main pool. It was very difficult to enjoy as there were so many children in them and sometimes unsupervised, it would have been nice to use them a little more often. I would like to mention the children. I was dreading going as we normally go on adults only holiday but I must say the children were so good at all time and especially in the restaurants (a big out out to the parents). We stayed here in July 19-26th . It was our first time abroad with our two children (9 and 5) . The shuttle from the airport took longer than we anticipated (roughly 1.75 hours ) and we were dropped outside a ‘ Rosamar’ hotel and the guy pointed at it but it was the Spa hotel , I said no we are in Gardens and he pointed again to the Spa one . We went in to it to be told wrong hotel and which way to get to the Garden resort hotel which was round the corner and up a steep narrow street . On check in we were told there was a problem with the air con in the apartment they allocated to us so they put us in a standard room and said to come back the next day and we will be moved to an apartment with better views (pool Views - I hadn’t booked pool Views ) . This wasn’t ideal as the next day I then lost over an hour taking our luggage to the new room but it is what it is . I am super impressed with the hotel . Its absolutely immaculate and all the staff work tirelessly to keep it that way . I cannot fault it at all ! Our apartment was lovely and comfy beds . Towels were changed every day (we didn’t ask the maids too ) and it was fully equipped with anything we might need (cups , cutlery etc ) . The food was so good . Plenty of choice every day although yes after 4/5 days in it does get a bit ‘samey’ . They did have themed nights - burger night Monday (burgers were sooo good ) , chocolate fountain a couple nights . May have been nice to maybe have Indian or Chinese theme night one night . Always fresh pizzas and lovely salad and fruit bar . It can get hectic in the restaurant when busy with people crossing paths etc and almost impossible to get a drink as it’s just 2 people going round with a trolley each . Snack bar was good although misleading as we thought we were getting snacks from the snack bar but no it was the little indoor section of the restaurant with a small AL buffet laid out . Snack bar did plates of crisps . Drink selection good although disappointing it finished at 11pm for AI. Slushies and ice creams for kids Included and discounted price of the menu for pancakes and other ice creams . Pool and slides brilliant . We had ‘poo gate’ one day but the lifeguards were quick to sort it and kept us all out for about an hour whilst the chemicals got to work . Plenty of sun beds although people still queued from 8am (gates opened at 9am) and then ran like Usain Bolt to get a bed by the main pool when they opened. I found it too ‘busy’ right on the edge of the main pool so we didn’t get into they game of running for beds . There’s literally hundreds all around the grounds . Animation team brilliant . Marta and Omar stood out . My youngest loved them ! Was great when they all came in the pool for pool games and let the kids drag them around the water 🤣. We went to Ferreti restaurant which belongs to the hotel which was good and they give you a 10% off voucher . Also went to BlueBar for an enormous cocktail ! We didn’t like the beach m

This hotel is in the middle range of everything. It's neither budget nor expensive. So, it needs to be viewed according. So, for the money, what's it like....Good actually. Its location for town centre and beach is great. Main bus station, shops, bars, restaurants all within very easy walking distance. There are 2 blocks to this hotel. But in reality, that doesn't matter as both entrances are 5 metres from each other, one is directly opposite the other. Reception and Restaurant for breakfast is in one block. Pool and bar in the other. Staff were all friendly, polite and receptionist was helpful with local advice etc. Breakfast buffet was perfectly fine. Lots of food, hot and cold. Bar area is a bit underwhelming really. There are loads of other bars around with a better vibe for less money. Bar is right next to the pool. Unfortunately, the pool is somewhat shaded all day and there never really gets a sunny spot that you can get settled in as the height of surrounding building means sunny spots keep moving. But, this is minor as sun lovers will go to the beach 5 mins away. Overall, I don't have any complaints and this hotel is well worth the money.
