My husband and I stayed in Callistos for a week to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We requested to upgraded our room to the Spa Suite for the first two nights. The room is absolutely gorgeous! You can’t ask for more. You get your own Jacuzzi and stern room! Every detail was fantastic! We got a nice amenity on arrival, everything was clean, and lovely! The hotel seems very new and everything is touch. After the two nights we move to a Jr Suite which was very nice as well, obviously smaller and no jacuzzi :( but still clean and very nice!! Changing rooms was very easygoing. On checking Elia welcome us very warmly! He knew our names the second he saw us. He was very professional and helpful throughout the week. Antonio y Vanessa in reception were also very helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was very good, loads of food, good coffee, pastries, fruit, all you need to start your day! Vitoria and the other housekeepers were lovely as well! Spa is small but cute! Kinda private and clean! Overall a great experience! All the staff members are so nice and made us feel like at home! We are definitely coming back! Thank you everyone for such a great experience!!!!! ＜3

Una piccola oasi di relax nel centro del paesino, ben collegato con le principali località turistiche del salento. Staff (nota di menzione a Pamela) e proprietari sono persone gentili, professionali e disponibili. Pulizia delle camere e degli spazi comuni, colazione variegata e con prodotti fatti in casa di ottima qualità, e cene ”stellate” a base di pesce...sono altri punti forti del relais. Infine una ampia area verde molto curata che include una grande piscina molto pulita e attrezzata di ombrelloni e lettini...con un buon bar fornito del necessario. Unico appunto, ma non problema, l'apertura a pagamento della piscina al pubblico, soprattutto ragazzi locali e la loro esuberanza. Consigliato!

This is the second stay at the Hotel Montecallini, and it has been renovated without losing its origins and its connection with the territory. The well-trained staff is ready to satisfy all the guests' needs with courtesy and kindness. Whether it is for check-in, or for the breakfast, or for any other need, they always welcome with a smile, ready to help and give any advice. The room, with its balcony, was wide clean and comfortable. The bathroom offers high quality bath products and soft towels. In the room there are many home automation systems that control all the lights and the cooling system. Just a suggestion: check the energy management so that when the electronic key is removed, all the devices are switched off (except the fridge). Breakfast offers a wide selection of homemade cakes, coffee machines, fresh fruit (varies daily), and salty hot food. The croissants, which can be filled with a variety of creams at the moment, are particularly good. The pool is well equipped with comfortable sun loungers and towels. Interesting is the possibility to book the private Jacuzzi which offers a high level of privacy and relaxation.

La colazione è con the, caffè, yogurt frutta e una sorpresa locale (da assaggiare assolutamente) al piano superiore un bellissimo terrazzo con lettini per il sole o per il relax e un magnifico jacuzzi dove abbiamo fatto uno splendido bagno nel tardo pomeriggio. Una coccola speciale. Da non perdere nelle vicinanze di MARTANO la cattedrale di Galatina e un bagno a Torre Sant’Andrea

A perfect staff. Careful, kind, affectionate and reliable. A Director, John, a gentleman ready to guarantee the best and maximum to the customers. All always with a great gentle smile. Perfect cleaning The massage makes a good professional. The infatiable gardener who keeps perfectly all the vast green of the whole property. A buffet breakfast where nothing is missing, in fact, goose and presented precisely and always clean buffet. The only great sin for us, once again, (we often return), is the kitchen. It eats very badly, with the ranges presented on the menu as high gourmand kitchen. A tragedy. A really bad thing because this hotel doesn't deserve such an important sleeve. I strongly advise a total change. Even the pity, but why not give foreign customers good local food or simply Italian food, without throwing into the bottom ....at sea??? I hope xhe will really remedy. I thank them all publicly, from the first to the last, they helped me make my holidays serene.

BBarry SThis is without one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The point of difference about this hotel is the excellent customer service from all of the staff. The manager Simone is always present, talking to guests to ensure they are happy. He is a real gentleman. Also special mention to Alessandro on reception. Check is was quick and efficient but importantly everything was explained to us. The hotel is spotless throughout. The cleaning staff work tirelessly. Rooms are cleaned twice a day. Breakfast consists of pastries, fruits, cooked items, fresh breads, cereals and salads. Oh and fresh orange juice which is squeezed in front of you. Dinner is served a la carte and you get a starter, a main course, a second course and desert. You also can have antipasti at the start. Each course consists of either a fish, meat or vegetable dish. The food was excellent and authentic. The hotel has a great swimming pool with a life guard. Also has a terrace on the front overlooking the sea where you can sun bathe. Never had a problem with getting sun beds. The room we stayed in (324) was spacious and had a sea view. Super comfy bed, great shower and toiletries are provided. The hotel has a deal with a local beach at Gallipoli. We paid €22 for 2 beds and a parasol. Fantastic beach and free shuttle to and from the hotel. The hotel offers various excursions. We hired a car from a car rental just 2 mins up the road. I would recommend hiring a car to explore Puglia. Overall a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will definitely return. Lovely hotel, perfectly situated to be just outside the hustle and bustle of the front but within 5 minutes easy walk to the centre. Great rooms, food was good even though I was on a group tour they still managed to serve all 39 of us with good food and hot. Amenities great - lovely pool - beware if disabled as it is up quite a lot of stairs within the grounds.

GGuest UserHo soggiornato per una settimana alla masseria e non posso che dire cose positive a cominciare dalla gentile accoglienza dopo un lungo viaggio in treno. La stanza dove mi trovavo e’ spaziosa e c’e’ anche un salottino. Ottima la pulizia sia della stanza che del bagno anche esso piuttosto spazioso. Al mattino in un bel salone viene servita la colazione molto bella da vedersi per la disposizione, ma anche molto buona con dolci di vario tipo veramente gustosi ed un grande vassoio di frutta già tagliata. Si puo’ trovare anche la parte del salata anche essa ben fornita. Un ringraziamento speciale a Lucia ed Alessandro per la loro simpatica accoglienza e professionalita’ e gentilezza durante la colazione. Consigliero’ la masseria anche ai miei amici e ci tornerò con grande piacere.

GGuest UserAgain 6 days with 23 friends in this super hotel . It’s my favourite hotel and it’s the second time we stay here. This time only 6 days . We was all thrilled . It a hotel with atmosphere with charm with the most lovely staff. From the cleaning staff to the reception to the restaurant. We could never again had the best ending in Gallipoli for our tour in Italy . The food is amazing and the breakfast have everything you need for a good start for your day. It’s beautiful view from some of the rooms over the marina and sea. The rooms come in all configuration but they are all clean , fresh and nice good beds . Everyone went out of their way to give us the best experience as they also did last time . They arranged for us a great wine tasting evening , a 5 course dinner with the best fresh sea food ever ( we are from Norway ) Mr. Luciano , his staff his family , Nonna . Amazing everyone ! Travelled in Italy so many times but for the last 2 times we always end up here . It’s Gallipoli , the hotel the staff everything . Love it

GGuest UserWe bought a package via a website for the weekend of Befana. Hotel with excellent location and beautiful look, bad for glasses that are not healed. I must admit that the room was perfectly clean and the reception girl immediately made available to fix a small problem with the switch, giving us even the opportunity to change the room! Breakfast and lunch in the middle, surely enriched by Pasticciotti! Finally...Small, but well-treated spa and with the splendid massage of Angela that made us live 30 minutes of dream!

Ritengo ci sia un buon rapporto qualità e prezzo, sia per le camere situate fronte spiaggia con la scenografia della Torre Regina, Regina per me perché più bella di tutte le torri del salento, ma sopratutto per il ristorante che offre un ottima cucina a base di pesce appena pescato e ben preparato da uno chef che ha avuto per 3 volte riconoscimento della migliore cucina nei suoi 34 anni di esperienza nei migliori ristoranti della Toscana e che colgo occasione di salutare, ”Marcello Greco”. Per gli amanti della pizza qui di sicuro si mangia una pizza da fare invidia a quella napoletana e siete fortunati se a prepararla c'è lui, il mitico proprietario della struttura ”Dario”. Difatti quando arrivate al suo bar fornito anche di tabacchino e di una vasta gamma dei migliori vini del Salento, lui è li che vi accoglie e vi riempie di attenzioni, insieme alle sue sorelle Katia e Pina. Lorenzo, Stefania e soprattutto Anna sono i camerieri ed i barman che hanno reso il mio soggiorno piacevole e rilassante accompagnato da buona musica e cocktail. Il locale è anche frequentato da gente del posto e di qualsiasi fascia di età, il che conferma la descrizione fatta. Suggerisco di prenotare in anticipo per riservarsi la migliore vista sul mare specie di domenica a pranzo ed in serata. Ottimo il vino bianco di Cantine San Marzano denominato Edda che ho scoperto grazie a Dario...supera alla grande i vini aromatici e fruttati del Trentino Alto Adice ... Polpette e crocchette sono un ottimo aperitivo, che dire ”Se bene volete mangiare da Rocco dovete andare”. Spero che la mia recensione sia la motivazione per scoprire questa struttura di Torre Squillace località preferita e abitativa del famoso cantautore Lucio Battisti che lo ispirò alla famosa canzone di successo ”Acqua Azzurra Acqua Chiara”.
