Very good value. It is located in the center of messin, so is a 10m walk from the main station. Signing in was a bit confusing as there was no one at the door to let me in, but a number was provided so I called and I was let in. My room card was already premade in an envelope near the entrance, so I didn't need to do anything further. Only bad thing is the drinks in the fridge aren't free and you will be charged if you drink them.

For about 5 years, even for one day, I have returned to this hotel that makes a heart of professionalism, but above all of relative quality, inside its stars. Accommodation (Loredana at the desk is prepared, format, concrete,coordinate services carefully and quickly); maximum hygiene (Nancy's team is discreet, ready, efficient). Breakfast is rich, with the possibility of ordering prepared dishes at the moment (spick Salve for both salt and sweet delicious) so with fresh and good products, not superfluous, not commercial but local. The kitchens have always been good, this time we haven't had dinner but the other guests seemed satisfied. The pool area is an alternative to the sea, extraordinary, but valid to enjoy local relaxation and natural colors around it. The view is unpaid. The owners distinguish themselves by motivation and generosity, they are proactive.

I have just got back from a week staying at this hotel. First of all, I need to mention two people; Christina and Mario. Christina is based on reception and is so very helpful and knowledgeable and cannot do enough for you. Mario works in the restaurant and the bar and is hysterical, a brilliant bar man and really good company so thank you to you both. We had a gorgeous sea view from our balcony and was very good location for the beaches and getting into town via the cable car. The breakfast was good but nothing hot available. Really struggled with the dinner, found everything really bland and overcooked. The actual rooms were very clean, as was the whole hotel, but very all very out of date. Overall was a good hotel but definitely not a 4 star.

The hotel is boutique and situated in a cove. The walk is tough to get around, so it’s not for people with mobility issues. The cable car was closed! The gym was closed (my husband is an international sportsman, so that was not ok for him). The food is ok for breakfast, however, they run out a lot and I had to keep asking for things. The beds on the beach are not great, neither are they comfortable. Bella island was also closed. It was May so it’s confusing how things were closed. The hotel was noisy, they had an event and were shouting and laughing whilst dragging (yes dragging) big furniture outside along my room on stones. Woke me up at 3am! Seriously. Very bizarre behaviour for a hotel. Certainly wouldn’t go back.

Currently here having a lovely stay at this hotel, yes it's a bit faded round the edges but that only adds to its charm. The views from the front of the hotel and the pool area are spectacular. Sat at the pool bar watching Etna letting off steam at the moment. The staff are very pleasant and breakfast round the pool is a treat. We have one of the few cheaper rooms without a view but on the plus side it is huge and lovely and cool. Location is fabulous opposite the gardens and a short walk to the centre of town. Would definitely stay here again

We spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It was amazing to have direct access to a beautiful private beach as well as an infinity pool. There were plenty of loungers to relax. The location was great, right on the sea side and close to the train station. The shuttle service provided by the hotel that takes you into Taormina was also excellent. The staff were all super friendly too.
However I felt that there was a lack of affordable meal options and the breakfast offering became monotonous after some days.
Overall a very special place that I look forward to returning to one day.

Great resort hotel! Beautiful environment, complete facilities, swimming pool, playground, health room, beach... The beach is not very good, but the seaside scenery is very good, from the beach to the west you can see the Etna volcano. There are two restaurants for breakfast, but we only went to one for four days, and the Western breakfast was very rich. If you go to Sicily next time, you will choose to stay at this hotel.

We stayed here at th end of october. We were the last of october at the end of the holiday season on Stromboli. The room was very nive and clean, witd a nice view on the sea and the volcano. As my wife has some allergies, breakfast and dinner were addopted to her needs. We stayed here for dinner, and had a very good meal for a reasonable price. The host, a family, were very friendly and very helpful. We can only recommed this hotel. The hotel is also one of the closest to the observatorio, were you can watch the eruptions every evening. (during our stay there was an eruption every +/- 30 min.

Absolutely beautiful and special place. We arrived 3 weeks after the passing of our only child. She was 3 and we lost her to cancer after a grueling 2 year battle. So we were looking for somewhere far from Minnesota that we could reflect and grieve. And Hotel Ravesi was exactly what we wanted and needed it to be. There’s only 16 rooms but lots of space to hang out. There’s the pool area with lounge chairs, a few tables outside the bar area facing the pool, the terrace area with tables that the staff will serve you coffee at breakfast or lunch/cocktails later in the day, and then 2 more newer areas that are very comfortable with chairs, tables, and couches that you can hang out at, drink wine, and look out at the sea. The views out over the sea as well as the views back at the mountains are honestly just amazing and the beauty in all directions is really incredible. The staff is super kind and super attentive. The cocktails are 18 EUR but they are probably the best cocktails we’ve ever had, and they serve you lots of snacks with each cocktail, so it really makes it worth it. The walk to the beach is about 10 mins but does involve plenty of stairs. It’s not hard at all if you’re in good shape, but just want people to know that. The hotel rents out its own scooters and has its own boat which is very convenient. We did rent a scooter but didn’t do one of their boat rides. Instead we did an 8 hour boat tour through Salina Relax Boats that left from Santa Marina Salina. It was $75 and was amazing. We swam at Panarea, went onto Panarea for an hour, then swam at a small island near Stromboli and finally watched Stromboli erupting. But back to the hotel and the town of Malfa. I could never imagine a more beautiful, peaceful hotel. And could never imagine a more kind staff and a quaint, quiet town. The hotel set us up with a wine tasting at Fenech Winery in Malfa, a 10 min walk from the hotel. It was so worth it. 45 EUR each for over 2 hours of various foods and trying all the wine, gin, and other spirits they make. We bought wine and took a few home in our suitcases. The main area of Malfa is essentially one street, but exactly what we wanted it to be. The restaurant connected to but not associated with the hotel (Ristorante & Pizzeria U Cucunciu) has amazing pizza as recommended by Lucie the hotel manager. And we honestly loved the restaurant La Rosa Dei Venti the best. Each night we either got pizza next door or went to La Rosa Dei Venti and got jugs of house wine with swordfish rolls and/or linguine with clams. Oh and the bar at the beach is great. 5 EUR paninis, 7 EUR cocktails, and just a great atmosphere. You can also rent air mattresses and umbrellas from the beach bar for 5 EUR each. And yes you absolutely need an air mattress at the beach because the rocks are huge and you really can’t lounge at the beach without them. The bar is called Maracaibo and the name of the beach is Spiaggia dello Scario. Just a heads up, there is no bathroom at th

This is the hotel where staff are so friendly and professional. They gave you the best and most practical advice to visit some of the tourist attractions and restaurants. Appreciate their excellent recommendations. Hotel itself is good with great attention in small details. Free minibar, small snacks, fine quality of toilet amenities. It isn’t a big name but a big surprise to us. Love their staff. All make you feel very welcoming and homey. Stunning sea view and very convenient location. I simply park the car outside the hotel and use their valet parking service at 25 Euro a day. What else can I ask for? Would recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a relaxing holiday in Taormina.

GGuest UserFantastic B&B just few steps away from the most beautiful view on Sicily. Everything was clean when we arrived and the room was being cleaned every day after we left for our trips. The lady at the reception booked us a table with an amazing view at the restaurant she recommended and she was right - the food at Al Saraceno was fantastic. Breakfasts were delicious - sweet as well as salty. The coffee was very good and if you ask the lady who prepares the meals, she will make you fresh scrambled eggs. We had a great time there and if we visit Castelmola again, we will definitely choose the same place to stay. Only downside was that air confitioning was a bit loud.

GGuest UserIf I could give this place 20/10 for service, I would. When we arrived at the location, we were in a complete state of panic as we thought we had been scammed by the gas station up the road. After checking us in (a few hours early), the receptionist kindly accompanied us back to the gas station and helped us translate between Italian and English, clarifying the misunderstanding of the situation. This was exceptional service and kindness we were not expecting.
The room itself was incredibly luxurious - we actually had 2 bedrooms (family suite) for 2 people. The walk-in wardrobe was a delightful surprise, although we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it. As we were both working while on holiday, the study desk in each room gave us the privacy and space to do our meetings and work independently. The bar fridge was useful for us to store our salads, snacks and bottled drinks.
The bed was super comfortable and we had a very restful sleep. The pillows were also the right height. Thankfully, there was air conditioning - our previous hotel did not. We slept like babies. The bathroom had all the amenities, including a hairdryer which is essential for me.
Best for last - breakfast the next morning was an absolute feast. The continental style breakfast spread was generous and we indulged in pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and marvellous coffee. I believe everything is baked fresh in house. As we checked out, we were even gifted a bag of pastries to take on our journey with us. ＜3
I highly recommend this place, and I am ever grateful to the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed here.

Al Duomo is not a hotel. In fact it has no reception. Everything is done by secure email. Piazza Duomo is the most charming piazza in Taormina with full of restaurants. Right next to the Piazza is Al Duomo Rooms & Flats. Room is clean, functional, and has a view of the Piazza. No elevator but we did not mind. Some hotels charge thousand euros per night. Not sure why. I prefer this place over The Belmond. It is not because of the price. It is cause I was able to sleep late two days in a row. When I am in Taormina Al Duomo Rooms & Flats is my place to stay.

CChristina PabloWe had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel.
CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill.
PROS: Everything else.

The Hotel was in walking distance from the Gates, Bus terminal and many fine cafe and restaurants. The views are just lovely of Mount Etna and beach. You will find everything here, hike the mountain to the Madonna Della Rocca Shrine. It will give you a unique experience back thousand of years ago and hurt legs! The hotel served nice breakfast and great service. This is certainly a well established hotel with great management. The view of the hotel and also the location justify the price. Spectacular view of the sea and excellent location to reach both the free beach or equipped lido near the structure (5/6 minutes on foot) and to reach Isola Bella (10/15 minutes max on foot) and also to reach the cable car that takes you to Taormina (10' max on foot). In any case it is also close to the bus stop. Quiet swimming pool and always with an excellent sea view. Parking a little expensive and a little inconvenient (there are 4/5 parking spaces on a steep climb) but there is no alternative other than parking on the street (very few spaces) or in the nearest parking lot which is in the cable car square at a higher price. The breakfast is not bad but something more could be added and above all I strongly recommend displaying the cards with the description of the product both in Italian and English given the massive presence of foreigners. The structure needs to be improved (rejuvenated) but I think they are working on it. The rooms are quite large and with a nice terrace. Small adjustments can make the difference for this property which I believe, given its location, has excellent potential... but obviously the price would then increase.

The room was functional, but good enough for the purposes. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The room's windows faced the water, and we enjoyed seeing the ferry from the balcony when we opened the window. The room also had a working desk which was good, as we needed space to do some computer work.
The bathroom amenities were ample, and we had plenty of fresh linen.
Breakfast the next morning was a HUGE spread. Among all the hotels we stayed in Sicily, this one had the most food on offer. The waiter at the coffee station was commendable - we ordered a hot chocolate and the effort he put into making the perfect cup just made our day.
I want to make a special mention to the lady at reception. I left my passport in the room after we checked out, and didn't realise it until over an hour later. I rang in a state of panic and she calmly reassured me that they had found it and she was holding on to it for me. Despite the slight language barrier, she communicated compassion perfectly. When I reached the hotel, she handed it over with the kindest smile, and that immediately dialled down my stress levels.
5/5 is not high enough for the service rating of this place, I would give them 10/5 if I could. And the lady at the front desk needs a promotion.
