Friendly reception staff, very large hotel room with full bathroom and walk in wardrobe, lovely restaurant, lots of seating options and lovely pool (not heated though). Great walking distance from botanical gardens and the old town part of Palermo as well as the marina front.

I have only good things to say, location, cleaning and attention. It is an old, restored building that I loved because it keeps its essence, stairs, large and high roof entrance. We stayed at this hotel two separate times during our stay in Sicily in April 2022. It's a lovely hotel. It's right in the middle of so many sights and felt safe. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with big bathrooms. One of our rooms had a view of the hills and the other was street side. My mom's room had a huge balcony that we spent time on soaking up the sun and the sounds of the city. My main reason for writing this review to highlight the AMAZING care the staff provided to my mom and her friend. They caught COVID and were quarantined to this hotel. I was terrified leaving them in Sicily while I went home but the staff took such good care of them. They knew their room number and would ask how my mom was feeling when she called to order breakfast (which is a great breakfast by the way). They helped coordinate retesting. They reassured my mom and were always available to help. My mom and her friend were living off room service and would rave about how great the food and wine was. One employee in particular, Barbara, went above and beyond. She would stop by to see my mom and help her with whatever she needed, such as going to the supermarket to get medical supplies. They were stuck there over Easter and she even brought my mom a chocolate Easter bunny :) and she brought them flowers too and it really brightened their day. My mom and her friend both said she had such a pleasant personality and made them feel cared about and loved. I truly believe their great service actually helped my mom and her friend recover quicker. It was so reassuring knowing that they were in caring hands. We want to go back as soon as they can and will pick this hotel again. Thank you everyone who works there!

The location of the hotel is good, at the junction of the old city and the new city, on the second main road. With a long history and luxurious style, the breakfast room is like a small palace, and the breakfast variety is also rich. It is the old problem of this type of hotel. The air-conditioning on the upper floors is loud, but later it was changed to a lower floor. The service is good.

Lovely hotel overlooking a piazza. We booked a room with a balcony which was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. It is centrally located with bakeries, restaurants, shops and history right on your doorstep. Although it is a busy road, as is all the center you cannot hear the traffic in the room. The photographs of the Hotel absolutely do not do it justice at all, it is so much better.

Stayed at The Plaza Opera during a tour of Sicily. Comfortable clean rooms with hospitality trays and usual amenities. Very centrally located for sightseeing. Breakfast continental in style but perfectly adequate. The only breakfast problem here was trying to get milk for the coffee as the waitress didn't seem to quite understand and she was also very busy. Would recommend the restaurant for evening meal, very good food and wines and no more expensive than anywhere else. A point for the Brits, Italians don't take milk in their drinks so there isn't any on the hospitality tray!!!!!

Breakfast was included, so I was able to spend the morning comfortably! Although it is a bread buffet, I was surprised that the quality was high! The room was spacious and the shower room was larger than any other hotel and I was able to spend comfortably!

The room was okay. The staff was okay. The breakfast wasn’t really good. There wasn’t any kind of fruits, just pastries joghurt and two kind of cold cuts. and streets were really so i wouldn’t go there again. I think if you go to palermo you should go to an apartman or airbnb. We should do that too

Fantastic structure. Perfectly nestled in nature. Direct lift to the beach. Resort-like in some respects but luxurious. Many relaxation areas and many sporting activities. Or recreational. The sunsets and sunrises are unique. To try.
