The hotel does have a grand-presence on Lungomare. Being an older and spacious property does have it's advantages - like having a wide balcony with chairs to gaze out at the exotic Amalfi coast (photo attached). Though Easter time, we were lucky to have a room with a balcony. Conveniently located in a 10-minute walk the the Salerno station, bus-stop or concordia Pier to reach Amalfi. Room was spacious with large cupboards and a small place to cook-meals. A kettle would have been comfortable in the room. Being Asian, I love my warm water and a morning coffee. Breakfast was tasty with some of the local sweet delicacies like Sfogliatella and Conchiglia. I noticed it was spread in way which reduced food-wastage on the table. However, I missed warm sausages or omlette. Would have also liked vegetable salads and cut fruits. A variety of whole fresh fruits were accessible, but sometimes we get lazy to peel and eat an entire fruit :) Staff were friendly and helpful.

This small Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem. We stayed for 4 nights and traveled around Southern Italy. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel is immaculately clean. Decor is extremely pleasant. There is gentle music playing on the corridor of the hotel which is a fantastic idea in terms of privacy. Plenty of options for breakfast. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

The Hosts make your stay a lovely time. Signor Beppe makes sure you have an easy holiday. His advice is honest and caring. The views you can see in the gallery are truly breath-taking and you are one hour away from all the major places such as Amalfi, Positano, Minori and Sorrento. We swam in the four different beaches and had lunch there too. Even the village itself is lively for evenings out when you wish to stay around. That is why we chose to stay there. We have plans to return so as to visit even more sites. For instance the Ercolano is on the way to the airport and is well worth the visit - so next time we shall visit Pompeii. Vesuvius is also an hour away and we bought excellent Buffalo milk Limoncello there, a novelty to us. And what about Ravello, what a sweet town with winding narrow streets opening onto a lovely tree-shaded Piazza Centrale and the Duomo. And a day in Capri with a lovely boat ride from Amalfi as advised by Signor Beppe. We take this opportunity to thank the whole family. Please take their advice and phone ahead if you have difficulties for your best choices or itinerary. And please slow down to enjoy the Tyrrhenian Sea and its rhythms, soak in the culture and smell the wine and the roses.

A year end with the family, we spent 3 days of relaxation, with spa path shared with our children, good food, a year-old menu with delicate and searched tastes. A greeting to the organization, perfect, careful to every detail, from the room care, very clean and dressed daily, to the service in the room, to the restaurant's proposals, having chosen the full pension formula, and to breakfast. Immense green spaces and open air, to break the spine is the ideal. Near Paestum. Excellent price quality ratio, countless offers all year, will be a reason to return to us.

My husband and I stayed at the Duca Marigliano Boutique Hotel in Paestum, Italy in March 2023. We went to Paestum to visit the Greek Ruins - and this hotel was walking distance. Even though we were only there one night, the service was wonderful. The hotel is charming and the food is delicious. We were not there during high tourist season - so we were one of 3 couples at the hotel for the one night we were there. The hotel restaurant was quiet when we went in the later evening - but we were welcomed an catered to. We only ordered dessert (as we were very full from our late lunch at San Salvator La Dispensa - yum), but they brought out samples of other desserts for free. In the morning, we were welcomed to a breakfast that was included in the night stay fee. The food was absolutely amazing. Lots of traditional foods and the best Earl Grey Tea - with steamed milk - that I had during my stay in Italy. Huge shout out to Pietro, who served us. Pietro went above and beyond at dinner and breakfast. As it was not tourist season, not everything in the hotel was open (sauna, outside seating areas) - I can imagine that the grounds are beautiful in the late spring, summer months. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Un plauso gigante per tutto il personale della reception con una menzione speciale per Domenico e Simona che ci hanno ”accompagnato” per tutto il soggiorno con consigli, suggerimenti e indicazioni assolutamente graditi ed affidabili. La ciliegina sulla torta sono le 2 terrazze del Ristorante dell'albergo ”Il Vicoletto” dove oltre a mangiare benissimo, si ha la possibilità di ammirare un panorama e dei tramonti che lascino senza fiato. Se e quando torneremo a Palinuro non avremo dubbi per ritornarci.

LlymaWonderful stay. Perfect location, is on the busy pedestrian street of Positano but the minute you enter the hotel is a luxury oasis. Beautifully designed courtyard and swimming pool, a perfect place to spend the morning or afternoon. Classic Room was spacious even with a baby cot, not modern but has its charm.
The staff are excellent, especially Antonio at the pool who took such good care of us and always carries a smile and with excellent drinks. The lady at breakfast is also so attentive to our family. Some staff are lacking friendliness which should be reviewed as 90% of the team are generally wonderful.
Great breakfast buffet selection, with scrambled eggs, cheeses, cold cut, fresh fruits, fresh organic juice and pastries.
Early evening in the courtyard with drinks and live music is such the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this beautiful property!

GGuest UserThe warm welcome of Riccardo at Il Moro di Positano and the breath-taking views from the public and private patios make all the town stairs up and down worth walking. Opening our balcony doors each morning to the view down over the buildings below to the blue sea and across to the high hills and sheer rocky mountains above was pure joy. Riccardo was everything you could wish for in a host. Always smiling and willing to make dinner recommendations and special tips to ease daytime activity plans. Switching languages flawlessly depending on the nationality of the guests. The rain shower and bidet in the bath added to the feel of luxury. The vast, varied spread of choices at the breakfast buffet set us up for each adventurous day. This B&B was certainly great value for the money and it was clear that the manager’s heart was in pleasing his guests. We were so happy to have stayed our 4 nights in Positano here at Il Moro.

GGuest UserCasa Santangelo is a beautiful bed and breakfast, warmly run and owned by Debbie.our room was huge, very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast was delicious. It’s location was great, close to everything we wanted to see. The Casa has been remodeled but with original style decor left in place. I felt like I was staying in the Sistine Chapel. Just beautiful. Also, there are many spots for a drink or great food right within a block or two. You do have to walk up stairs to get to Casa Santangelo, just in case you have mobility problems. Debbie let’s you make a coffee or tea whenever you choose. And she helps with anything and everything. We only had time to stay 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. Something about Salerno. We loved the city. It is ancient but clean. It is on the direct train line from Rome so getting here was easy. Also, many ferries connect from Salerno to the Amalfi Coast. And there are many centuries old buildings and places to visit.

GGuest UserHotel Olimpico is a lovely hotel and spotlessly clean inside and out AND the rooms are cleaned every day ; good breakfast selection ; pool bar and has a great pool area where you can also order food. The reception ladies are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The bar staff Davide, Sergio, Michel & Daniel ( sorry if I missed anyone) were brilliant ! Very welcoming and again nothing was too much trouble for them, whether you have 1 or several drinks they are all great barman and an asset to the hotel ! The location was a bit out of the way for us but there was a free shuttle which was a god send as it was 50 euros each way in a taxi to the port in Salerno. The area itself is run down with bars and restaurants along the front either closed, boarded up or derelict so we were quite relieved when the taxi drew up in front of the hotel but a bit disappointed not to be able to have a walk along to a bar or restaurant outside of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean but a bit drab and colourless. Sadly we were directly above the kitchen area so we were woken daily very early by the noise of the metal ramp being used to ferry food to the restaurant for breakfast (I presume) and the air conditioning didn't work although I did report this. We stayed here for 8 days for my husbands 50th birthday with friends and for the most part our experience was a good one. First night we ate in the restaurant just the 2 of us and felt the manager was a bit off and sharp but didn't take too much notice. Our friends arrived the next day and a few days later after a long day out we decided to eat in the restaurant and assured them the food was good based on our first meal. However, 11 of my mussels did not open which was over half my starter and our friend['s starters of grilled cheese and vegetables were cold. My main meal came out and the chicken was pink & raw but after sending it back and it still wasn't cooked I decided to leave it. Our friend ordered steak medium but it was raw when it came out. Not wanting to send food back again he ate the edges and left the rest. The blonde waitress couldn't raise a smile, literally threw our food at us and had no table manners at all and the manager and his sidekick with the glasses did not at any time come to our table to enquire if there was a problem nor offer a solution - they just raised their eyebrows, muttered under their breath nodding towards our table and completely ignored us ! Only the nice young waiter (didn't get his name) who took my food back was so apologetic but apart from that they weren't interested in our table at all and made it quite clear they did not care. When we paid he begrudgingly knocked off my meal and 1 steak meal but this wasn't the issue. The issue was their attitude towards us was disgraceful ! As paying customers you expect to be treated with courtesy and if you are unable to do this then you should not be in hospitality so for the rest of our stay we did not eat

GGuest UserThe negative reviews on here debate whether this is a 5 star resort or not. This is subjective and depends where you have stayed in your past. We live in the US. We have lived in Shanghai for many years and traveled extensively around that region. The resorts there are truly 5 star. Some of the best in the world. Even compared to the US. However, traveling throughout Europe there are different standards. This region is older and steeped in history which is the allure of visiting. Having said that I Hotel Raito is a 5 star resort. The service is outstanding from the front desk to the dining room and even maintenance and then the pool. The pool is fantastic! Very relaxing and the views! The dining at their restaurant in the evenings were great. We stayed in room 120 which is at the front of the hotel overlooking the entrance from the parking lot. My guess not the most desirable room. My wife and I were fine with it as it was clean and had a balcony overlooking Vietri and the sea. We are very positive people so that helps with our experiences and outlook. I could go on and on. Come stay at Hotel Raito and explore and fall in love with the Amalfi Coast!

Dark furnishing Japanese style ... excellent and wide selection of fresh bakery and breakfast cakes, juices, yoghurt, fresh coffee from the bar and the dispenser machine, a little choice of salads. We also had a dinner one night and it was good both the sea ragout packers and the sword fish, very soft. Negative report by several rooms: temperature fixed at 23.5° then rises to.24° on December 8, unhealthy at maximum ... impossible to lower it. We opened a spiral but couldn't be all night open.Even other rooms were like that. We reported the morning after and the evening when we returned 23.5°. We had to talk to the reception and we were told that that was the room temperature and to get it down we had to open the window! We did it but the thermometer (it is not a thermometer!) did not fall. We were told to remove the engine control tab to reset everything, but nothing happened ... everything remained on. Another night was soffocating. I read other old reviews complaining about the same problem ... obviously in several rooms the plant works badly. Maybe instead of pretending nothing would be better to repair it. The next breakfast is still good.

GGuest UserStaff was wonderful, rooms were clean and spacious, the shower was probably the best shower i’ve ever used in Europe. The food in the restaurant was serviceable but the staff was great and the live music was a nice plus. The views were arguably the best I saw in Positano. Getting to downtown was easy with the conveniently located steps. I never took the bus back but it stopped right in front of the entrance( I needed to work off all the food I ate). Overall for staying in Positano at an affordable hotel it was a great experience. Would love to visit again (shoutout Renato the bartender for making our drinks on the patio a memorable experience every night!)

It's located right in front of the beach, and there's a music bar right in front of the accommodation, so you can listen to good music for free. I wonder if there is any accommodation in Positano with a better location.

It may be a bit difficult to find the entrance to the accommodation when checking in. The large yellow building is the accommodation, and the entrance is between the accommodation and the restaurant on the left side facing the accommodation. If you go through that iron door, you will find the accommodation!
The host is an old lady named Rossa, and although she doesn't speak English very well, she tries to explain things as kindly and easily as possible. When I said I wanted to use porter service on the day of check-out, they made a reservation for me.
I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews, but it was really good. It was the best accommodation, so beautiful and nice. We also upgraded our room.
Everyone, make your accommodation reservations :) I miss the kind rossa.
