Borgo Valle Rita

I spent 3 nights with my family in July 2024, booking 3 rooms in this beautiful resort. The hotel has just a few rooms, less than 20, all well appointed and clean, with working A/C and good toiletries. Beds are comfortable, there is ample space form luggage and there is a minibar and a safe in each room. Some rooms are small apartments with a kitchen and a sofa area. Staff speaks English and they are very helpful, kind, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The resort is in the middle of the countryside, maybe 20 minutes away from the beach, within a larger farm that produces organic olive oil, citrus (oranges, mandarins and lemons), plus their own wine and wheat for bread. You can walk or bike for hours among the fields of orange groves or vineyard, surrounded by cactuses with prickly pears and fig trees as well. The restaurant is high-end, with a large and varied breakfast buffet, small plates for lunch and gourmet dinners (almost Michelin star quality). The hotel has a large pool with a stunning view and a tennis court as well. It is located within a half hour drive from the beach of course and many local attractions like Matera, Taranto, Bernalda (where Francis Ford Coppola family came from) and so on.
