Our stay at The Clarendon House was everything we could have hoped for and made for a wonderful trip to Provincetown. Jose and Accent who manage the hotel were very friendly and hospitable. The location is pretty much right in the centre of Commercial Street, except one block behind on the road parallel so not immediately surrounded by the business and noise. All the town's amenities are otherwise a short walk away, and a CVS is also nearby which is handy. A lovely continental buffet breakfast is served every morning in the main reception area, which was always a pleasure to start the day with. We stayed in the Sandy Neck Light room which appears to be one of the newer, recently developed/refurbished accommodations. Beautifully decorated and furnished, it was comfortable and had everything we needed including a small kitchenette, air conditioning, cable TV, and a private balcony overlooking the pool. Good quality accommodation in Provincetown is always going to be relatively expensive, but this was worth every penny.
