As others have said, the hotel was very dirty and in a general state of disrepair. There was a pungent smell from whatever they were trying to cover up odor-wise. Staff was rude and unapologetic.
We didn’t stay. We immediately checked out and were told we’d have to call back to receive a refund. We did so and were told the hotel was happy to issue a refund, but that we would need to go through ******* to receive it.
Good luck speaking with anyone at *******. You’ll spend however much time you’re willing to spend in an endless loop of automation.
Lesson learned. Don’t book through ******* again and avoid this hotel chain, since upkeep and cleanliness are clearly unimportant.
