We come here for a roadtrip to Arctic Ocean, the building looks new and organized, everything is clean. We spent $150 for a single room here. Rooms has TV, Wi-Fi, a sofa, and private bathroom, toilet and sink in our own room. And you got a "card room key" just like any other hotels. This makes me feel I am still live in a modern building rather than a old style "camp". Shower has great water flow and great temperature, the bed is twin size. They have laundry rooms, entertainment rooms(bookshelf and billiards), priting station, and 24-hour dinning room included in your room rate. Also they have plug-ins for your car in case it won't start. I love their 24-hour food room, there's lots of things to choose from, frozen meals, fruits, snacks, milk, they even got a soda machine and juice machine, 24-hours all you can eat/drink in this location. What else can you expect? It seems no one lives here except for the one who check us in on our arrival date. I don't see anyone in the building and our room is right next to the lobby. Riche checked us in, and he showed us all the places(our room, dinning room and where foods are located). He is a very nice guy. The only thing I can say is that it's hard to find the entrance especially in a snow storm weather you can't see anything and outside temperature is about -30 F or so. Also there's no hotel-style front door(big door with ceiling cover) or front desk, once you arrived you probably need to call their number to meet them down at the "BILLETING" room by the elevator. And maybe that's why it is a camp(nor Brooks Hotel) I guess? One last thing I want to say is about the location. Brooks Camp is right next to Prudhoe Bay Post Office, and the gift store which has a sign says "end of Dalton Hwy" which most of you would like to take pictures with. Without going out of the building you got everything you need here, although it is not a 5-star "resort", but I guess there's no camps/hotels better than here in town.
