Pu'er Runli Shijia Homestay Reviews

Originally, i booked only 1 night, with the intention of going onwards to Laos the next day. But i stayed a 2nd night because the room was spacious and the view out of the window was so restful. About the room, I like it that there is a desk i could work from. And that the shower and WC areas are divided by a screen. For the 2nd day, my room was refreshed with used toiletries replenished and towels changed. I wish the guesthouse would implement a system where guests are able to indicate if they wish to use the same towels. I am pro-environment, so if i don't change my towels everyday at home, i don't see the need to do so when i am away. I also like the location as it was easy for me to catch Bus Route 3 to a nearby shopping area (i had KFC breakfast there), cross the road to take Bus Route 8 to Meizi Lake Park. I spent about 3 hours there, including enjoying coffee and cake in the cafe near the entrance to the park. (My biggest regard was i did not get to drink even 1 cup of Pu'er tea while in Pu'er :)) After that I back tracked on Bus Route 8 to change to Bus Route 3 to visit the Tea Horse Ancient City. Then after, I took Bus Route 3 to the shopping centre, had dinner and shopped at Walmart, before catching Bus Route 3 back to the guesthouse. There is a walking/running track just across the road from the guesthouse. Forget about going the full length of the track. Once you see a slope on the right side, walk up there. You will get a nice viewpoint and there is a nice cafe there. If the weather is right, you get to see sunrise too! I went in the morning, the cafe was closed, so did not patronise the place. Had I known about this cafe, i would have gone there on the 1st day. Perhaps the guesthouse operator could do up a map with information of easily assessible places of interest. This could result in longer stays for free and easy travellers. Pu'er is a well planned town/city. I like it and will recommend others to spend some time there. Most importantly, do stay at this guesthouse. The surrounding tea plantations will recharge you!

1 km away from the rail station. Eternal view of the hotel is underwhelming but the rooms are large and in good condition. The view from my room is the terraced tea plantation. The hosts are not experienced hosts but they are kind and helpful. Taxi and ride-hailing is cheap so getting around shouldn’t be a problem.

Very close to Pu'er Train Station, about 2KM to town. Room is huge and very clean, tea terrace view and quite. Very friendly and helpful boss, he even took us to the train station when we check out to catch our train. Thank you very much and will definitely come back next time.

Very spacious room with a beautiful view on the tea fields and only 10 minutes by foot from the train station, there's also a bus stop for the city center 2 minutes away. The owners are really nice, they came to meet me when I arrived even though it was past 10pm!

He also recommended online car-hailing when we went to Jingmai Mountain. Before departure, we also bought tea and coffee grown by them~ delicious and delicious. Affordable! This B&B is really extraordinary. I can only say that after staying here for several days in a row, I was really reluctant to leave. I was a bit addicted, haha. I really enjoyed the view of the green tea garden outside the window every day. The boss lady. It's quite nice. Seeing that I was traveling alone and didn't have any transportation, he lent me the electric donkey. Pu'er is a city that you don't want to leave when you come. Trust me, this B&B is highly recommended. The previous good reviews are all the same. It's genuine, just trust me and go for it.

Hotel Fengjia is very cost-effective. The most important thing is to pick up from the airport. The time for eating with friends is a bit tight. The boss is very helpful and we were not late. I drove to Jingmai Mountain from Banna and thought about visiting Pu'er, but there was nothing fun there. I caught the high-speed train early the next morning, so I changed to a room closer to Pu'er Station. The price was cheaper and the boss could send me to the station, which was good. But the room was really cold and the toilet seat didn't fit well. But the price was cheap and I didn't have too many requirements for one night.

The B&B is only more than one kilometer away from Pu'er High-speed Railway Station, and pick-up and drop-off services are provided. The room is clean and spacious. I like the tea garden view outside the window the most. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas, great! Although there are roads around, it is also surrounded by tea mountains and fish ponds. In addition, the cherry blossoms have been in full bloom in winter recently, making it very pleasant to walk. The B&B offers staff meals at noon and evening for 15 yuan per guest. There were two times when I didn’t want to go out to eat or order takeout, so I tried it and it was very affordable. The staff at the B&B are enthusiastic and answer all your questions. All in all, a very satisfying experience. Hope to stay longer next time.
