This hotel is a budget hotel with just the basics. plus a third floor pool. The rooms are adequate, and clean. The shower never got more than tepid. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel doors close at 2000 Hrs and if you needed help, there was a contact number that was manned 24/7. You were given a fob to access the hotel if you are out after hours. Make sure that they demonstrate where to exactly place the fob. A couple got stuck outside the hotel for a couple of minutes. The breakfast was advertised as continental, but there was also scrambled eggs, juice, toast, coffee, tea, chocolate, sausage, etc. The hotel is located next door to an industrial parking lot and solar farm. Our room overlooked the container storage area, but this did not bother us much. We did not come to the Galapagos to sit in our hotel room. The great thing about this hotel is the proximity to the downtown and the piers, where a lot of wildlife and birds can be seen. We saw sea turtles, sharks, small manta rays, seals, and a good number of bird species. This town is very safe. We did not see one fight, altercation or any 'street drama'. We also saw very few people smoking. There are many Hostels in this town, that young travelers use, instead of hotels. We would stay here again, as it is in a good location, the town is very safe, and is good value for the money.
