Puerto Ayora Hotels with Free Parking.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL We booked and paid 10 months in advance. We eventually called and emailed months out and they confirmed the Suite (by name) via written e - correspondence. We had paid a significant amount of money to ensure that we had the right room for this special visit. When we arrived they said that as they had changed the category of the rooms, we were now in a (small) junior suite. Like a few other reviewers have said, they are NOT Suites! It was only after two days when I showed them the correspondence confirming the room by name that they accepted we were put into the wrong room. After much discussion (which was a distraction from being on holidays) they gave us the room we has booked and explained that they could not have given it to us earlier as they had allowed someone else to book it. They offered us a small amount by way of compensation, but no where near what we had paid (the difference) for the room we had booked. So, I would NOT Recommend this place as they are deceptive; and you are taking your chances with them. I have waited three months since our visit to write this review, so it is not done in the 'heat of the moment' . Ps. If they respond and deny the contents of this review, then I would be happy to share relevant correspondence. I also note the limited number of reviews for a business that has allegedly been around for a while ...

We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time. The real pluses are the fantastic pool area, very clean with large variety of loungers and great Jacuzzis (albeit a bit hot) The other real benefit if the great location, 5 minutes walk to town and restaurants, but very quiet and secluded in lovely garden areas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is brought to you and pretty much the same each day but perfectly adequate. The only reason I would not give a 5, is that the rooms are a bit basic and feel quite tired. The bed is huge and bedding is very clean. There is however very little storage space beyond a small rail and only one towel hook in the bathroom. The AC however is very efficient.

Hotel is quite far from the waterfront, but its not a big issue as the walk is nice 15-20 min or you take a cab which is all time available for 1,5$. Its called Hostal but rooms are like in a Hotel. They are nice and clean. At the roof top you have nice view, tables and a bar which was not on duty when i was there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wanted to change my flight and the receptionist was very helpful and even wanted to go with me to the agency in town which was unfortuntely not existed anymore. For it class i can strongly recommend to stay there

A warm inviting safe hotel within walking distance of wharf area. Hostess Isabella is A#! - EXCELLENT. She even walked with us downtown to find a great restaurant the first day we were there. The breakfast is yummy and served in an outdoor setting. Isabella also helped us with issues we had with our travel agency and also when one of our group fell on the sidewalk away from the hotel. Each day we stayed there (4 days) we grew to love it more and more. Plenty of bottled water to fill our bottles too. Rooms were simple but very comfortable and roomy. I recommend you stay here! BTW: Masks are not required on Galapagos Island.

The hotel is a very spacious room! The hotel is a very interesting distance from the main street because it allows a quick walk to it, but it provides a good night of sleep because it is more ”from”. Two negative points: the difficulty of hitting the hot water point in our room and the rest when we try to contact the hotel before arrival, because we try to ask about walks, information about how to get to the hotel in both the area intended for this at ********* as whatsapp and not obtaining I am not going to return on any of these paths, which cost points in our assessment.
