I’ve given the hotel a two points. One for the location, which is excellent. You can walk to everywhere in the town and to the beach. The other is for the cleaners. They manage to keep the hotel spotless despite badly marked doors, walls, baths and skirting boards. The dining room has no atmosphere, cheap plastic marked tables and chairs with paper settings. It has the feeling of a works canteen. The evening meal is absolutely awful. No matter how cheap half board seems, it’s not worth it. Even if you go in when it first opens the food is cold. They can’t even cook chips! The puddings are bought in and awful. The only thing edible is the bread and hummus. Breakfasts are not much better. No fresh fruit, or dairy free yoghurts. And Everything lukewarm, and disorganised. If like me you can’t take cows milk, you can’t even get a coffee in the evening, as the dining room doesn’t offer teas and coffees and the bar only has cows milk. The rooms are very tired with marked walls and only one socket. No instructions for TV etc. All the balcony has is two marked plastic chairs. We had two single beds pushed together that were different heights. One was newer, the other was well worn with a lumpy mattress and a loud squeak very time I moved. Duvets had no covers, but were between two single sheets. No kettle in the room. We paid for a sea view, which we had, but behind a municipal football pitch and closed swimming pool.
