Brisas Carrizalillo Suites

First the good: the place is in the middle of an excellent location: on a very nice avenue, in one of the best neighborhoods in all of Puerto Escondido, restaurants nearby and a few meters from Carrizalillo beach, which I consider the best in the entire port. The hotel is very nice, clean in general (at least in the common spaces) and with good-sized rooms. They give you a clean room, yes. It has a refrigerator, stove and basic appliances. The pool could be cleaner. The girl who I think is the owner, very kind and nice. What ruins the experience is the cleaning staff. I stayed 3 nights and they were conspicuous by their total absence. They never cleaned my apartment, nor changed the bedding, nor the towels. I initially received the place with a single roll of toilet paper. They didn't give us more paper until we asked for it. The rest of the guests either went out to look for the staff or they simply cleaned. Meanwhile, the staff sat absorbed and comfortably watching their cell phones or talking to each other. For what we paid ($2,000 MXN per night), I am left with a bad taste in my mouth due to the lack of attention received. I felt like I stayed in a self-catering hostel (I don't know if that exists).
