Hotel Santa Fe

I can not stress enough, do not stay here. The mgmt first tried to put us into a lower room category than we paid for. Then once I notify them, we were moved into a room that had wet upholstery on fabric furniture, the bathroom smelled of sewage and the bedroom reeked of mold and mildew. This hotel was so bad that we forfeited our second night booked because it smelled so bad and we felt unsafe. The entry door had huge cracks and the windows weren’t able to fully close.

PLEASE STAY AWAY. OLD OLD OLD rooms, dirty, the pictures do not represent the hotel. Everything needs to be updated, bugs of every kind in the room, Beds, Furniture, and the toilets smell as they were clean weeks before check in. Service of the Front Desk, need to be retrain in service and hospitality area. I had worst experience ever with my Family. 3 pre teens and Wife. Do not stay here if appreciate your family.

We were very happy in our large junior suite. We needed to wait four hours before our bus back to Oaxaca, and they let us keep the room for a nominal fee. The pools are nice and ocean views very nice! We had an excellent whole fish meal as well. Excellent service all around.

Well located front of the beach and near some bars and restaurants Hotel look like an hacienda Nice pool Good food, I just tried room service but it was tasty and generous portion Comfortable bed and spacious room Except ; no place to hang the clothes

Beautiful setting and view, nice pools, comfortable a/c. Bed was really hard but the charm of the place makes up for it. Would recommend this as a great spot to enjoy a cocktail and to spend some time relaxing. Fun spot to watch celebrations along the street as well.

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Congenial (Spanish speaking only) staff. Right on Playa Zicatela— a 3.5 km surf beach. The restaurant is meatless— a wonderful vegetarian/pescaterian menu, deliciously prepared. Attentive and kind service, always. A good distance from downtown which for us was a benefit. Easy access to town and various beaches by taxi. Highly recommend old world, colonial hotel!

Subject: My Unfavourable Experience at Your Hotel Dear Hotel Team, It is with great disappointment that I write to share my experience during my recent stay at your establishment. Regrettably, the hotel did not justify its cost and, despite cleanliness being its only virtue, it fell short in several aspects. Firstly, I was taken aback by the lack of pool towels. Regardless of the hotel's high occupancy, as a guest, it should not be my problem that there is insufficient management of such basic resources as towels. This undoubtedly requires your immediate attention. The condition of the pool was disappointing. The lack of rubbish bins contributed to a neglected environment, with trash scattered around. Moreover, despite being a "beachfront" hotel, I noticed a significant lack of hammocks or deck chairs on the beach, which reduces the enjoyment of this facility. The service was extremely slow, especially at the pool. Waiting 90 minutes to receive a beer is unacceptable. At this pace, one might feel compelled to take over the hotel staff's tasks, which is impractical. As for the prices, both for accommodation and the restaurant, I find them exorbitant compared to other hotels in the area and they do not reflect the quality of service received. Moreover, the lack of basic items like shampoo in the room is an oversight that should not be overlooked. The noisy room, due to employees talking outside all night, and the lack of child-friendly facilities also contributed to my negative experience. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances. I hope you will take my observations into account and make the necessary improvements for future guests. Regards, VE
