Hotels near Beach ＇n＇ Bay Dalaruan, Puerto Galera

I'd like to graciously comment that to some extent, we had a good and fulfilling stay except for an uncomfortable experience in meeting a few ”defensive” staff of Jack Daniel Apartments. I would kindly suggest that next time, please welcome your guests warmly first before telling it to their face the cost of (e.g.) extra mattress for each night, missing bath towel, etc. I think it's intimidating to confront the guests with ”this and that prices” when they have just arrived. I regret to say that some staff were defensive in their explanation. Another intimidating act was the suggestion of Ms. Jocie for us to book another room with two superior bedrooms, when our booking confirmation stated 4 adults and 4 children. It was just relieving when she finally honoured the Agoda Booking Confirmation, but not after hours of long discussions 😢. Anyhow, I wasn't very glad to pay Php 2,000. for two extra mattresses for our additional two school children; and even this amount is high. We liked the swimming pool and the gardens. The property must have seen long years but well maintained. Despite my experience with a few intimidating staff, I'd like to thank Jack Daniel Apartments.

We stayed at Blue Crystal Beach Resorts for two weeks. We had the most wonderful time resting, sightseeing, island hopping and walks around the neighborhood. Breakfast is free which makes it taste even better, hahaha! On the serious side, the encounters we have had with the staff are phenomenal! Greets you with the sweetest biggest smile!!! Always asking if there is anything we need for our room, prepared our meals accordingly, at times even gave us the option if there is anything we wanted to eat out of the menu. They even go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure we have eaten before they leave for the night, how amazing is that! Truly unheard off! Thank Dolor and Annalyn for going the extra mile so we didn’t starve for the night. Thank you to Lucy and Ram for preparing our meals according to our dietary guidelines and make taste yummy! Thank you Phia, Josie and the rest of the staff whom kept our room very clean, well stocked and smelled really good. Until our next stay, take care of yourselves! The location of the hotel is very good. I can go back to the hotel to take a hot bath immediately after diving. It is comfortable.

I've been coming to Sabang for 15 years. I've stayed at this place more than 5 times during various visits, its now my most favorite place to stay in Sabang and White beach. things have changed since the pandemic, access and travel time, but well worth the effort. once you arrive, I don't even have to check in, I just show up and tell them which rooms I'd prefer, and its done. the rooms are large, 11, 12 and 14, my favs. their clean, good aircon, good wifi, great bathrooms and shower, warm water, TV works, has cable, viewing deck comfortable and glass slider access. food is the best I've had on the island, Mel, the chef, is great and very accommodating, he gave me my own personal access to the early morning bar to make my own brewed coffee, that'll never happen anywhere else folks, and he's a great cook. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, they speak good English, the place stays open until the visitors are finished with their entertainment. the pool is small, yet wonderful, access within walking distance from your get off taxi, but not very wheelchair friendly, not much of the PI is unfortunately, I plan to make this my only option to stay when visiting the island. I recommend calling ahead to check availability and have a back up plan because they fill up during high season. access to the island has changed a bit. Batangas seaport is your beginning and you can only arrive in PeurtoGaler, then can only take a tricycle and/or Tuktuk to get there, takes about 35 minutes, cost about 350 pesos and is better then white beach hands down. has walking distance to bars, clubs, nightlife, yet far enough away to be silent for sleeping, many scuba shops and options, its a scuba mecca, you can YouTube many themes here and you should, I can't recommend this place enough and if your on the fence, pull the trigger, its worth it. good luck and be nice.

Looking at a new homestay booked by the picture, the picture is the same as the actual situation, very satisfied! It is a Chinese-owned store, and it is very convenient to communicate. The room was clean and tidy. The rest is very quiet at night, very close to the sea. recommend

Amazing staff, extremely friendly and very professional. Right on the beach, although the beach is a little dirty, not so nice. However, it's a cheap ride to the beautiful White Beach. The spa attached to the resort was also great! Food was good. Would definitely recommend!

à part la situation en bord de plage la chambre est situé près d'un débarras et du local du personnel literie bas de gamme le lit grince à chaque mouvement le ménage n'a jamais été fait, petite fenetre qui donne sur un tas de feraille dans une cour, surprise alors que nous avions payé le petit déjeuner chaque jour la serveuse nous a réclamé 300 pesos le jour de notre départ car nous lui lui avons refuser une croisière qu'elle nous proposai si vous séjourné dans cet hotel demandez une facture à chaque consommation sinon attention le jour de votre départ. point positif la réceptionniste était sympa.

Disadvantages: The pillows are very uncomfortable, my friends and I both sleep with neck pain; the single bed in the double room is too narrow about 90 cm; there is no toothpaste and toothbrush, ask the front desk to pay for it; one less towel for wiping hair 4. Breakfast is very simple. When it is free, two slices of toast + egg + 1 cup of drink, others need to be paid separately, the price is not low 5. Whether the room is suitable for children, as soon as I entered the room, I removed the two single beds, and there was a sofa bed that was stretched out. The next day the waiter saw that we didn’t need it, and we would harvest the sofa, so we should live in a family it is also fine Because I didn't see a hotel with 4 stars or more in White Beach on Ctrip, I booked this one, and I am basically satisfied with it.

Premises …are quite new with two very nice and large pools facing the ocean plus a hot-tub for which you have to book. The resort looks as good as the photos so we were not disappointed. During our five nights we saw only very few people around the resort and the restaurant even though they were fully booked. They even have a game room with a pool table, PS4 and karaoke system. Food …is good with traditional Filipino dishes, especially the pork sinigang was very good (too fatty meat though). Would be nice with a few non-fast food Western options. Staff …were extremely service minded and made us feel very welcome. All spoke English fluently in addition to Tagalog. Wheat could have been better …not leaving a family with two small kids in 32 degrees at the port for 30 min even though we had made a clear agreement to be picked up …wifi in room 601 was horrible and I had to take a business meeting close to the restaurant …none of the pools had any shade whatsoever Overall we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back (hopefully to better wifi 😀).
