Staying at Blue Osa for a one week yoga retreat was transformative in so many ways. All of your senses will be activated in a wondrous way as you’re surrounded by the enchanted rainforest. Sunrise was my favorite time of the day; waking up to the howler monkeys, floating in the Pacific Ocean during the tranquil golden hour and the watching pairs of macaws in flight and landing on the wild almond trees on the resort for a snack. The Blue Osa is a well maintained and pristine resort with beautiful accommodations, top notch spa services, breathtaking views, plus delicious and healthy food prepared and presented with love. The customer service felt like family members caring for us. All of the excursions offered were unique experiences filled with excitement and a connection with Costa Rica to understand the true meaning of Pura Vida 🇨🇷

Blue Osa is Paradise! I had such a relaxing, transformative and spiritual time here. The staff were all so friendly, I felt genuinely cared for every moment. The spa experiences were great as well. The private beach, the wildlife, the pool, the flowers, it was all just a dream. I hope I have the opportunity to come back very soon!

Went to Blue Osa for a week long yoga retreat. The food was so fresh and delicious, no surprises. There is a connection with the food and every meal has a story. The spa services were great plenty of options from facials to wraps. The options for excursions were endless and there was something for everyone. Waking to howling monkeys and hearing the macaw fly by is something that can only be experienced at Blue Osa. Make sure you bring reading materials when lounging by the pool. Take a walk on the beach and see the sunrise

We took our annual girls trip (grandma, mom, daughter) to Blue Osa this month. It was fantastic! The grounds are gorgeous, the food is superb, and the staff are absolutely the best! We booked the spa package and got pampered with facials and scrubs and massages. Enjoyed walking on the beach, swimming in the pool, yoga classes, hiking and photographing all the monkeys playing in the trees. Then we went zip lining through the rainforest and horseback riding, too! It was an awesome experience!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Blue Osa! I brought a family member with me this time, and it was an incredible experience. There was much peace and self growth I walked away with during my time here. We did so many fun activities, as well as relaxed and refreshed. The staff and guides were so helpful and nice! The food is amazing, and you really get an authentic Costa Rican experience here. It will always have a place in my heart. I will definitely come back again I hope! :)

My fiance and I just returned from a 200 hour yoga teacher training at Blue Osa. I stumbled upon the website when looking for yoga teacher training sites in Costa Rica and am so grateful that I found blue Osa! Yogi Aaron is an incredible instructor and human being! He epitomizes all that is yoga and we learned so much in the two weeks we spent with him. Blue Osa is located on the Puerto Jimenez peninsula of Costa Rica and is situated between jungle and ocean. It is a very remote location though several participants took the shuttle ~30 min into town during our lunch breaks a couple of times. Otherwise there are no stores or shops around other than a little gift shop within the resort that is open every other day for about an hour. (I.e. really try to bring everything you need with you). It was such an incredible location to participate in this immersive teaching experience! Every morning during silent time we would go watch the sunrise before morning meditation and take a walk on the beach after morning meditation before breakfast. The room we had was one of the just two or three air conditioned rooms, and I would definitely recommend this since it was quite hot and humid the entire time we were there. It definitely made sleeping much more comfortable. The food was vegan based but they had eggs each morning and chicken several nights a week. The food was incredible, and locally source from their own garden. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They had Wi-Fi in the main Cocina though it was turned off during meal time to promote social interactions between the guests.. It was so great to get off grid for the most part for the two weeks. I would highly recommend a trip to Blue Osa if you want to get away from everything and be surrounded by the beauty of nature, with monkeys howling outside your windows each morning, fabulous food and even more so if you want to immerse in a fantastic yoga teacher training experience. Just bring a lot of bug spray 🌞

I have just returned from two weeks at Blue Osa for yoga teacher training. It is a beautiful resort with a friendly, attentive staff. The delicious food was farm to table with a wide variety of flavors. You can go on tours, go to the spa, or just take your own time reflecting as you watch the sun rise or set. There is the ocean to enjoy, by walking on the beach, taking a dip, or just sitting and watching the waves. Of course, there is yoga in a raised open yoga room overlooking the lush grounds of Blue Osa with the ocean in the backdrop as you develop your own practice and learn tons from Yogi Aaron. All in all, a wonderful resort to refresh, reset and walk away feeling relaxed and more at peace. Blue Osa is a special place with special people that touch your heart with their gracious hospitality.

I attended a 2 week Yoga Teacher Training at Blue Osa in May 2024. If you want a truly immersive experience this is a great option! They have excellent on-line materials and videos that prepare you for an intensive 2 week training on site. The mornings start early with meditation at 5am, but the practices are energizing and meaningful. I learned so much and felt the secluded, beautiful and peaceful setting added to my experience. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, although only a limited number offer air conditioning at an additional charge. (please plan early!) The food is fresh, primarily vegetarian and delicious. Wifi is best near the central dining area, but this is a great place to unplug. Not easy to get to, but worth the journey! Namaste 🙏

I love being at Blue Osa! This was my third trip. The jungle gardens are beautiful. Lots of birds to see. I swam in the pool every day, walked on the beach, and practiced yoga. The food is fresh and delicious. I can not say enough about Aaron (the owner) and the people who work there. They are helpful, gracious, and kind.
