Exceptional great service and the hotel is brand new and relaxed.

Had the best time at The Funny Lion! They provided complimentary airport transfers and bikes, which made getting around so convenient. The staff helped us book tours and rentals, making our trip hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with free tote bags, drinks, coffee and fruits. The variety of complimentary fruity drinks was a delightful touch. They're SUPER accommodating. Shout-out to Desiree and their general manager, Mike. And especially, Livia that's been in contact with me via WhatsApp. She on top of everything. While the food is a bit pricey, the 999 Saturday dinner buffet was super worth it. Our room was impeccably clean with the most comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, very clean, and had excellent water pressure. We appreciated the bidet and the abundance of towels. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. They also gave us complimentary cookies and friendship bracelets when we checked out and even brought us to the airport. As first-time visitors to Palawan, The Funny Lion gave us the best vacation ever. Highly recommend!

To be honest, the tourism resources in Puerto Princesa are not among the best in Palawan, but the initiative and enthusiasm of the hotel staff are refreshing. It is worth a visit.

Excellent hotel, when the second part opens it will be even better. Spacious rooms, beds with very comfortable mattresses and pillows, slept great. Breakfast buffet, not very varied, but always tasty and fresh natural products. Nice pool, cleaned perfectly. Specific sea. Although the hotel is on the beach, there are strong low tides and it is not always possible to swim, although when the tide is in, the hotel provides free kayaks and snorkeling trips (by the way, special thanks to Dustin, the instructor (special thanks to Dustin water instructor), who took us to the reef and to the sandbank where we looked at fish, starfish, he helped film us on GoPro while we were diving. ) this is also free. The hotel also provides bicycles and helmets for free (by the way, everything is new and high-quality), we rode to the market and the city center, bought fruit. I thought the single beds would be small but I was wrong, they were large and comfortable. The service is 100% recommended.

A wonderful place. It is far from the center (9min by tuk tuk) but it is a total disconnection. The staff is super friendly, EVERYONE. The exquisite food. The room 10/10. The truth is that you will not regret it.

GORGEOUS !! I don't even know where to start when talking about this establishment because it is so fabulous! The staff took great care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay. Friendliness, availability and professionalism that I have never found in another hotel! I even got a small slice of cake for my partner’s birthday! From the gardener to the receptionist, everyone is pleasant, courteous and incredibly kind! The room is spacious, well thought out and the bedding is pleasant! The common areas are clean. The managers have really thought of everything: bikes available for a walk, beautiful natural stone swimming pool, garden in progress but already well done, canoeing and kayaking also available... in short, everything to feel good! The hotel has lots of little touches during our stay: we received little things to eat every day! And a little extra which for me is extra because I'm a big coffee lover: a coffee bar run by a lovely little woman. He made us love our first stay in Palawan and made us want to come back! THANKS !

Peaceful location and amazing staff. An ideal place for rest, relaxation and for getting away from it all in an eco-friendly environment . A big thank you to all the staff and especially JP who went out of his way to accommodate us and make us feel at home. Restaurants, food and service were excellent.
