Just got back from 1 weeks stay at Marina bayview. Stayed in apartment B109. We arrived late and the security guard gave us everything we needed and showed us the way to our room. Very impressed with the room. It was clean spacious and beautifully decorated all in keeping with the hotels ‘sea’ theme. There was a sofa and coffee table with a tele on the wall. A dining table with 4 chairs. A kitchenette with everything we needed. Cooker, microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc etc. a large bedroom with wardrobe and another tv mounted on the wall. The bathroom had a large shower and toilet with the sink being outside the bathroom door. We had a huge balcony in the prefect location to the pool and the hotels facilities. We were bed and breakfast and the morning spread was absolutely out of this world. You had everything you could think of for breakfast. Coffee machines, infused water, juices and cava. Pastries, croissants, biscuits and breads. Jam, honey etc. yogurt and fruit pots with lots of toppings such as chai seeds, pumpkin seeds etc etc. a verity of cereals and milk. Meats cheeses and pickles. Smoked salmon. Cooked breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs fried and scrambled, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, tortilla espaniol, pancakes, beans ….. I’ve properly missed something out to be honest as there was so much choice. Super easy process give them your room number and help yourself. The pool was cold but very much needed to cool us down. It’s a salt water pool. People do put towels down on lumbers but not until around 8am / 8:30am. We didn’t have any problems getting our sun loungers right outside our room all week. The bar food at lunch is fantastic. The beef burger chicken burger the chicken burrito and the chicken club were all fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced too. However the bar does close around 6pm Unless it’s an event night. There is a hot tub and cabana beds on the middle floor of the hotel. Along with a courtesy room on your departure day should you need it. This is free but does need to be booked at reception. There are 2 superset shower and toilet rooms with a vanity area to freshen up. It is very hot in there though. Yes there are steps. But there is a door just passed the sauna that your room key will open that takes off around 60 steps. Meaning you only have around 139 to climb. It didn’t bother us. But they are exhausting coming up and definitely do not get easier as the week goes on. I booked a massage at Marina suits and it was fantastic. Pedro was so lovely and make me feel at ease throughout the treatment. The massage was perfect also. While we were at the marina suits we sussed out the pool as we know we could use it and decided to spend the following morning down there. It’s nice but there are still children there ….. As you leave marina suits and head back to the hotel there is a small restaurant next to the harbour. Definitely worth a visit. The sangria is amaz
