Morasol Suites

We have just returned from an 11 night stay at The Morasol (our 6th stay). We just love this hotel and would not stay anywhere else now. There have been a few updates since our last visit, new flooring, patio table, and chairs, and whilst we were there, new nets and curtains, sofa, and soft furnishings. On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of fizz due to their opening anniversary, this was a great touch and personally would be a real benefit for all the time. We were then told they had upgraded us to the select area (not the first time either) and also had a bottle of fizz in our room due to our pearl anniversary. No problem getting sunbeds, all staff are so lovely and friendly. We would 100% recommend this hotel. We actually booked again for next year whilst sat in the airport waiting to go home.

We had the most relaxing stay at the morosol, the rooms, the balcony, we could get a sun lounger any time we went to the pool. It was a wonderful 10 days stay. Great idea the fridge in reception to buy supplies if you arrive late. We will be back soon.

Was our first time in this hotel. Very impressed with management and staff, They were always polite, curtious and always willing to help. Would recommend this hotel to anyone,Hotel was spotless and emacably kept.looking forward to returning next year .

We stayed at these lovely apartments at the end of September. There were three of us in a one bedroom which had an adequate sofa bed in the lounge area. Great views of the marina from the balcony. The apartment was clean and was very well looked after by our lovely cleaner. All of the staff here are friendly and welcoming and it’s very relaxing. Unfortunately you do get the sun bed blockers as everywhere but there was plenty so you could always find some. Pool was lovely. We like these apartments as they are in a nice area & walking to the town is a reasonable walk.

We have very recently just returned from a week stay at Morasol suites. This was our first visit to Gran Canaria, we usually visit fueventura and Lanzarote. When we first arrived we were incredibly impressed with how quick the check in process was and the fact that our room was ready dispite it only being 12pm. David on reception is very helpful and friendly. We were on one of the ground floor apartments next to reception the apartment was lovely very clean and tidy and had everything you could need. We found the shampoo shower gel soaps and shower caps a lovely gesture. We also liked how close our room was to the pool and the entrance and exit to the hotel for us to go out in the evenings. Our apartment was cleaned daily to a very high standard and the cleaners are so friendly. The pool area was very relaxing, we liked how peaceful the whole hotel seemed and the views of the marina and surrounding areas. No sun bed wars except for a couple of days, where the sunloungers with umbrellas appeared to be reserved before 8am, this was a select few and you can’t blame the hotel as it happens everywhere there were plenty of other beds available just without the umbrellas. Pool bar was lovely and happy hour from 12-1pm meant you could get two for one drinks. We got two pints of beer for €3.50 which was great value, the food from the bar was also delicious and prices were the same as most of the restaurants and bars outside of the hotel. We found that it is a 10 min walk (at most) to the beach and around 15 minutes into the commercial centre (for reference we are a couple in our 20’s). Overall we are very impressed with the hotel and the staff we enjoyed a very relaxing week here which exactly what we needed to escape the UK life and weather. Only downside is it went so quickly and we didn’t want to leave. I’ve no doubt we will return in the future. But first it’s back to fueventura in a couple of months. Thank you morasol.

Second 11 night break this year at the Morasol & already booked for next year! Simply love this hotel Located over-looking the pretty Marina so whilst central it's far enough away from the hustle & bustle to remain peaceful. Found our now favorite room, clean, bright and spacious. No stampede for sunbeds whether by the inviting pool, the Jacuzzi area or the large roof terrace, there's always space. But what really makes this hotel is the staff from Reception, Cleaners & Bar staff, everyone's super helpful and accommodating. Roll on next year

Had a wonderful short break at the Morasol Suites. It was our fourth visit to Puerto Rico and we usually stay near the Commercial centre but had walked past this hotel on a previous visit. We were not disappointed. We arrived at lunchtime and were warmly greeted by David on Reception who promised to have our room ready as soon as possible. When we returned in the afternoon David had very kindly upgraded us to a larger room. The room was simply stunning and spotlessly clean. The TV has BBC1 and ITV1. Shampoo, shower gel and an amenities kit are provided. Pool area was lovely and no issues getting a sun lounger and an umbrella. The pool bar opens from 12 to 4.30 and there is happy hour from 12 to 1. You can hire pool towels for 15 euros and you get this back at the end of the holiday. I have to say the staff were so pleasant and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was just a fifteen minute walk to the Mogan Mall which was where we ate every night as we love the restaurants there. My only criticism would be that the lovely bar in Reception is not open. We would have liked to have a drink there in the evening after going out for our meal. But this is just a small point. We will definitely be back to stay here. The nicest place we've stayed in Puerto Rico.

Just back from a fabulous 2 week stay at Morasol Suites. We had a lovely 1 bed apartment with views overlooking the marina and pool. Our balcony was huge in room 231 in comparison to most others with perfect access to the pool area. All areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean and all of the hardworking staff very friendly. We never had any issues getting sun-beds by the pool or up on the roof terrace. The quiet location for us (party of 6 age range from 14 to 78 years) was perfect. 5 minute walk to a few bars, restaurants and supermarket and 10 /15 minute walk to the beach. The commercial centre is about a 20/25 minute flat, easy walk away. Taxi costs €5 ( including a tip). We booked self catering but did pay to have breakfast in the hotel on a few mornings. Choice was great. The pool bar food is basic but lovely and not too expensive. It would have been nice if there had been a bar open in the evenings in the hotel as we didn’t always fancy going out. The bar is in the reception area but for some reason never opened. However, this is not a major issue and we will definitely stay here again!

We have just returned from Morasol Suites & have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The pool area is fabulous - we easily got sunbeds each day, even if we didn’t arrive at the pool until after lunch. From experience, this is virtually unheard of during school summer holidays. My parents had a poolside room, which was an absolute godsend & the closest you can get to staying in a villa whilst having the amenities of a shared complex. We had a room on a higher floor which had recently been refurbished with lovely views across the hills & the marina. The area is lovely, with many bar & restaurant options close by. The nearest supermarket is around a 5 minute walk away. The beds & pillows are very comfortable, air con in the rooms is good & maid service is the best we’ve ever had. Staff are all lovely! A few minor issues for us were noisy renovations above our room during the day, which wasn’t too much of an issue as they were always finished by 4pm. The pool bar is great & we enjoyed lunches there but it closes at 4:30pm which seemed a little early. The hotel bar inside is never open either which is a shame as some nights it would have been nice to have a night cap upon returning from dinner. There are also some loose/missing tiles in the pool which could do with addressing sooner rather than later before it becomes a bigger issue. If you’re a fan of sunsets, be sure to visit the solarium on the third floor in the evening for fabulous views & photo opportunities! Thank you Morasol for an amazing summer break.
