3-Star Hotels in Puisseguin

Had a pleasant one night stay here. The parking is in the car park outside of the hotel but only a short walk to reception, you can actually pull into the grounds to unload your luggage and then go park your car. The building had a lot of character and the staff are nice. We had a huge room with a view of the vineyards so very quiet which was good as we slept with the window open as it was very hot, they did have air conditioning but we could not get it to work but to be honest we had been used to opening windows for the fresh air at most of the hotels whilst in France so was not a big problem. Got to say, for us the bed was extremely firm, really could do with a comfortable topper pad to sort this out. Nice meal in the restaurant or you could dine on the patio, rather large plates which seams to be the norm in this area, but limited menu choice.

Agréable séjour au milieu des vignes entre amis (4 couples). Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires très investis dans leur activité. Discussion passionnante autour du vin et du terroir. Nous avons apprécié les chambres spacieuses, la cuisine à disposition, les petits-déjeuners copieux, la dégustation des vins de la propriété, et la grande piscine malgré une météo peu favorable. Bien conseillés pour les restaurants à proximité. A faire dans la région : le Moulin de Porchères- la Tour et Château de Montaigne - Saint Emilion et son église sous-terraine...
