Paid RM40 PER PAX for their so-called “buffet” lunch, and RM50 PER PAX for dinner. Buffet consisted of plain rice, boiled spaghetti (without sauce), tomato paste that basically tastes like canned pasta paste, curry chicken and achar. What a way to chop guests!
Basically had to spend the trip looking for alternative food because all resorts only sell food for their own guests.
Bed sheets were so dirty with stains GROSS. Towels provided have such bad quality that your skin is filled with blue fibres after each wipe.
SGD75 per night is definitely not a worthy stay, not to mention that the resort did not warn guests about the daily 3-5pm water&electricity cut off upon check in

Went to this resort with bestie to spend our holiday. However not satisfied with the resort. The service is really bad. Arrive at resort at 2.30pm. However only got to check in at almost 5pm... need to wait so long for no reason. Also electricity and water supply very poor,, cut off very often.. had to spend our night without electricity. Couldnt wait any longer, we checked out one day earlier. Didnt receive refund yet although the prob come from the resort itself. Food is good by the way. Pulau Besar also superb.

Very nice! A very natural and beautiful beach, the original ecological environment is well protected. There is a small swimming pool which is a highlight. The front desk guy is very patient and thoughtful. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a good place to relax and decompress.

The whole tour is speechless
Arrive at 1 o'clock, order lunch, the restaurant has no food except fried rice, fried noodles, fried rice noodles, the room was delayed until 6 o'clock, it is said that there is no staff, and the kitchen chef is pulled to clean the toilet
After I finally got it to the hotel, I went to the toilet and the air conditioner was bad, there was no toothbrush, no shower, and no toilet paper. I asked the hotel later and said I would take it from them, but no one sent it, not enough manpower
Then I thought about it, and went to the beach to play with water to adjust my mood. After returning from the game, there was no water in the hotel for us to take a shower. Then I asked the hotel and said that the owner was reluctant to change the equipment.
When we woke up the next morning, there was no water. We brushed our teeth, washed our faces, and there was no water in our bowel movements. Then we went to the hotel to buy a large mineral water to brush our teeth, wash our faces, and just put up with our bowel movements.
Lazy to write, too much, look at the hotel environment yourself

1st time here in Pulau besar. Resort wise a lot improvement needed. Hope the management will improve more on the inside of the rooms. Food wise limited, more variety will be better and maybe can put some drinks to be sell to the customers. Staff all is helpful and great. The manager(didn’t get his name) was good. I was given chalet 9. Which I am happy about it not away from the main entrance, swimming pool. Though, one night I was mistakenly walk to different room that was make me panic!. Activity, you can rent bicycle and cycle from one end to another end, if you prefer walk do so. The view are mesmerising. Hiking/trekking was good too but make sure you are fit enough!. Also, I did manage to do snorkelling. 3 island(2x snorkelling + beach/island break) which is nice so you won’t get too exhausted of snorkelling. Pulau hujung/Pulau tengah/*cant remember 3rd Pulau. Beware of sand fly! Make sure bring any insect repellent. Bring some food/snack while you here. No ATM! Off all along the beaches my I say the beach from the jetty to d’coconut has nice beach. Sum up, thank you also Daniel Foo from the reservation, and look forward to come again in future. *do make your own activity/come on the low peak if don’t want many people.

I went here with only one thing in my head. Unwind. I got exactly what I wanted so badly. This island is so tranquil. If u r not so fussy with perfection from 5 Star property, this is a perfect zone. The buffet here is adequately nice for all 3 meals. The beach is perfect. The sea is calm most of the time. Crystal clear emerald greenish blue. The marine life here is beautiful whenever I dive in from the shore just with snorkelling gear. I spent most of my time outdoor. The only time I get back to the room is to shower & nap. The humongous swimming pool here is always inviting. The trip from Mersing to the island is pleasant become it's a short ride with the resorts speedboat. Overall, I am a happy guest. Looking forward to return here soonest.

Staff were lovely and friendly however the pool was cloudy and dirty , the choice of food for all inclusive was nonexistent- they brought the food to you and the rooms especially bathroom need a lot of improvement. Very quiet in Aug with only few other Charley’s occupied Jungle trekking was very fun

Paradise island. Breathtaking sea! Few resorts and lots of peace. few fish near the shore. Better to be taken by boat to the reefs of the nearby islands. The D'coconut is an easy resort very popular with locals. Triple room ok, bathroom needs maintenance. A couple of cockroaches...but in such a wild place it's inevitable. Air conditioning ok. Great to have the pool for a refreshing dip, although it could be a little cleaner. You can no longer eat in nearby resorts (for guests only). The cuisine at D'coconut is good and prices are honest. Better to take a package with meals included. There is no wi-fi even for a fee, once the staff made me connect to their personal spot host to book a ferry, very kind indeed. The resort's boat picked us up in Mersing after hours, at 3pm, and we paid the standard fare (340myr for 2 adults - 1 child/return). We arrived late in Mersing from Singapore because the queue for passport control to enter Malaysia by car was crazy, it took hours. My family and I had a great time at Pulau Besar!
