Hotel Los Navegantes

Very slow in finding usa room, when showed up before three pm, the scheduled time of checkin. Whenarrived just before 3pm, we were not given room. Whilst waited infront of the reception, I notcied that another customer was able to get room instantly.

We were put up in this hotel by Latam due cancellation of our flight. The room was supposed to be a double but there were 2 single beds. Could have been cleaner, there was no hot water and the TV didn't work. The restaurant was a disappointment due to lack of dishes not available for mains & desert. A homeless man entered the restaurant and the staff virtually did nothing to remove him so he went to every table & even sat down with 1 family!!!

Dumped here by Latam due to a cancellation. The whole place is grimy and run-down. The wifi was patchy, and the rooms pocked with holes, cracks and stains. The electric sockets came off in your hand. The lift door closed whether there was someone in the way or not, adding a unique guillotine-like experience to it. The breakfast included instant coffee ans a gelatinous sulphurous sludge that may have been scrambled eggs in a former life. The highlight of it was a drunk walking in mid-dinner, picking bread rolls off people's tables as staff made half-hearted attempts to get him to leave. It would have made a good Chekov short story. Moved hotels on our own dime. Would not recommend.

Hotel Los Navegantes has decent rooms, a great lobby, a great included breakfast, and centrally located in Punta Arenas. The cost was affordable for a decent, comfortable, and clean room and the breakfast was great. If you'd like to customize a breakfast item or eat something not at the buffet, you can ask the staff and they'll be happy to help out.
