Beautiful location. Would definitely come again for another vac ation.

Our third time coming to Hyatt, always 10/10. The service is spectacular from the moment we arrived. The Blind Butcher is must have experience. Worth every cent! The spa for the couples retreat was also fantastic. The food at the buffet. Everything was just great! Everyone was super helpful and nice.

My stay was very nice. I would like to give a special shout out to the friendliest bartender in DR, Marino Cedeno. Marino works at the Cocoonz Club Pool. Every day, Marino was serving up the most delicious frozen drinks. My family of 8, ordered 8 different drinks. Marino never batted an eye. He had that blender buzzing, and always with a smile on his face. Please go visit him and tell him Julie said hi!

Best Family Vacation First, the question everyone always searches…. Club vs no club. I would definitely recommend the club option. This resort was absolutely great for a family vacation. We have a 4 and 5 year old and they loved it, which means we loved it. Everyone acknowledged our children and never once did we feel like our kids were treated liked they were not welcome. They were treated like it was their credit card on file. The Food: We thought the food was very good for an all inclusive resort. I never sat down expecting to have the best meal of my life, but the food is very good for a resort. The Staff: The staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and go out of their way to say hello to you then ask you what they can do for you. A few people you want to target on your vacation are: -Rodalfo at the water sports stand. Kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and hobbie cat-ing are awesome, and he makes them more awesome. -Deiby,Luis,Amyeli,Yani, and Nathaly at the Cocoonz bar. If you do the club option this group right here single handedly will elevate your vacation experience. Deiby makes the best margaritas on property. Don Julio repasado, grand marnier, fresh lime, and fresh orange. Hueron at the buffet makes the best cup of coffee on property, ask him for his “Dominican coffee especial”,and probably has the largest smile on property. We requested his section every morning with breakfast. Elvin and the entire entertainment staff is great. The first day Elvin met my 2 boys and remember their names and went out of his way to acknowledge them by name, anytime we passed him no matter how busy he was. The Pool: Clean huge, and fun. Go on Amazon and order a cheap 4 pack of floaties, so you have something to float around on. If you forgot the gift shop will have you covered. The Beach: Cap Cana is an amazing beach. There are little to no waves and the sand if extremely fine and soft. When the winds blown in strong, the ocean gets a little “rougher” and stirs up the sand creating a cloudy appearance near the shore. The room: We stayed in building 1 in the 10-25 block. I would strongly reccomend requesting this building and section. You walk out of your room and go 50ft to the right or left and you are at the elevators that bring you directly to the lobby, gym, coffee bar, and restaurants . What held us back from a 5 star review, inconsistencies in the cleanliness of our room. Most days it felt like room service just made the beds and left. Items were not restocked and the floor was never cleaned. The resort as a whole needs to clean the shower drains. Our was full of “scum” and needed a thorough cleaning. We talked to our guest and they also noticed the issue, with us mentioning ours. I only mention this because the service of the room is a stark contrast of the service of the totality of the resort. Overall this place is a slam dunk yes if you want to take your family on vacation.

Our family just returned from an amazing stay at the Hyatt Ziva. We had visited last year and had such a wonderful experience that we decided to return again this summer. The second time around did not disappoint. The property is beautiful with its design, layout, landscape, and furnishings. The Hyatt Ziva staff's attention to customer service is incredible and each guest is made to feel special. We want to mention that Marino the bartender at the Coccoons Pool bar is exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and made my daughter the best shirley temples she has ever had in her life. (Her words not mine). We also enjoyed dining at the various restaurants and my husband and I appreciated Carlos the waiter at Shutters who ensured our meal was memorable. There is just the right amount of entertainment, and the staff helps motivate you to try one of their many activities. Thank you Marino, Carlos, and the many staff at the Hyatt Ziva for giving us such a memorable family vacation. Honestly, we can't wait to return again!

I would highly recommend this to anyone with a family. The entire staff is so incredibly helpful and accommodating. When i tell you that i was floored at the customer service from everyone there, it's an understatement. An example is, if you ask someone where the gym is, they stop what they're doing and walk you there. They don't just point. I can't express the service enough. It was the best part of the trip. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pools are clean and gorgeous. The activities for the whole family are interesting and fun. The restaurants and bars come with all kinds of choices and all come with high end options and quality. The water park.... i forgot to mention the water park. There is just so much!!!

This was our first visit to the Dominican Republic, and it will be a vacation to remember! The staff at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana were excellent! The activities were plentiful and the facilities were fantastic. The restaurants were unbelievably good with the Navigator Restaurant being our favorite for dinner. The waterpark was a blast for our two sons! We will definitely look at going back again and highly recommend this resort for a family vacation.
