The hotel was fabulous in that it was clean, spacious, modern, and had a calm business vibe. It is set outside of the main Madrid attractions, which is nice for business travelers. If you are traveling to see the sites, you will need to take an Uber/ taxi, which is about 15-20 minutes per traffic and time of day. It's not bad, but not ideal if you want to walk out from your hotel and be in the action. Apart from location, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a modern vibe, and has some cool restaurants located around its vicinity. Im a huge fan of AC hotels now because of this beauty we stayed at in Madrid! Although its kinda far from the attractions, I'd still return and stay at this location again and refer it to future travelers!

This was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!đ). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutesđđ¤Ł). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get themđ. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachersđ Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! They always ask you how you are, remember your orders and bring them before you think about it. Mariia Soriano and Andy from lobby bar- the smiliest girl and boy ever! Thank you for your Russian and Ukrainian, keep learning, next time I come I will check up on your progress! 𤣠Animation team- you are beyond human abilities!!! Fly yoga, yoga on surf boards, volleyball, water polo(I think it was water polođ ), water bikes in the swimming pool, sexy dancing, jumping on little trampolines..Ruben & Jason, my sister Debora(best breeds from you!â¤)and my evening salsa teacher Coca -Cola(don't lose uno in bachata anymoređ). Love you guys! 𼰠I will always remember all of you, how you invited to take part in the activities, how you were showing everything step by step, your patience, your unique personalities. The best chef on this planet Wander Montilla with amazingly beautifully looking and heavenly tasting dishes. đ Thank you for your unforgettable dinner at the stake house restaurant! Also, the cooking show in Asian restaurant is worth seeing! The food is amazing and the products are high quality. We are more than happy with our rest!

Avoid at all cost!!! Please do not risk staying at the resort because the price appears affordable. Most of the staff are friendly and professional, but this is where the positive review ends. The A/C consistently doesnât work and most mini fridges do not work as well. There is a lingering smell of sewage on the property. Building 10 is where my family stayed. This was the source of the smell. The food is tolerable, but booking reservations for the upscale restaurant is intentionally difficult. Donât waste your money on upgrading to privilege because thereâs no real benefit. Just pay extra and book somewhere else.

Because of the early flight and the hotel is near, I chose it! Old-brand hotel chains, management, service, facilities and equipment, hygiene and supporting facilities are all very good! 1.1 km from Punta Cana International Airport, about 5 minutes by car, the hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport, you can make an appointment in advance! Because the flight was too early, I didnât have breakfast, I donât know what happened! Slippers and toothpaste are not provided in the room. All the cups are disposable! The hotel is not on the beach, there is a burger shop and several restaurants nearby, two banks! There is no small supermarket, the water and snacks in the hotel lobby are super expensive, 4 times the price outside! The price is average!

Let me start off saying, I stayed at a RIU resort in Jamaica and my experience was totally different from the location in the DR. My friend and I are currently here and have been disappointed the entire trip. Our room has not had A/C the entire time weâve been here. Iâve submitted 10 request over the past three days and the staff is just closing out the ticket without fixing the problem. We even went to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room and still wasnât moved. We are literally waking up and going to sleep hot and sweating. The room also has ants(in picture) so I spent the first night being bit. The plates at the restaurants arenât clean and some of the staff are using their bare hands to prepare the food on the buffet line. Something was floating in the drinking water(pictured) also it smells like sewer on different parts of the resort. No face towels No straws(have to put your mouth on the cups) Dingy towels Dirty pool I will NOT stay at another RIU Resort after this experience. This resort should not have a 5 or a 4 star review.

Luxurious and chic, the brand new Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana will open in Fall 2019 with 375 contemporary suites exclusively for adults. The general architectural and interior design character of adults-only Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is sophisticated and sereneâslightly more formal than its all-ages sister property, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. 11 dining and drinking outlets have been meticulously designed and offer different ambiances and cuisines including French and Italian. The overall 750-room resort complex is shared with Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, all within the same 40+ acre oceanfront site set on Juanillo Beach. Conveniently located only 15 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, the beautiful dual-branded all-inclusive resort complex will overlook a quarter mile of powder white sand beaches. Common amenities include a resort village, water park, world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness center and convention facilities.

The room is newly renovated! But the design is not novel! Front desk service is average! The restaurant is not bad in the all-inclusive! The pool is good đ! The sea view room is a bit far away! There are trees on the lower floors that are not recommended!

We just spend a week at the resort and it was an amazing time. We went for the beach and the relaxation and it did not disappoint. While it's not a beach to take long walks on (or even short ones), it is beautiful and the ocean is amazing. In speaking with some of the managers there, they noted how the owners want the beach to be a place just to relax - so there are no activities such as jet skis out in the ocean or even paddle boards. We certainly appreciated that. We stayed in a one room villa and it was very nice and well appointed and the outside private pool (more than a plunge pool) was amazing. The three restaurants on site were very good for dinner and lunch at the beach is standard beach fare amped up just a little. The staff works hard and it shows. Special call outs to Wilson at the beach who always made sure our Presidente was very cold and for bringing great energy to his job. And to Daniel at breakfast who made every morning that much better. Lena in the spa gave a great massage. If you're looking for a higher-end resort to just unwind and relax this is a great place.

Other than our butler which was very nice and helpful after the fact we had to spend an extra 4500$ to upgrade to diamond package everything else was not representative of a 5 star this hotel should not be rated past 3 stars should not cost more than 1500$ per week per person. There seems to be a systematic money saving culture and upcharging tactics at this location to which we were held hostage of. This reflects in the opinions of most except for the short stay customers that probably generate more money for the resort. They also keep the prime rooms aside for short stay customers that spend more over their duration of trip. Barely any shade around the pool and anything more than a chair costs more to sit on and they kick you off asking for money. Pool was under construction and other work being done on infrastructure (grinders etc) lack of fans and proper air conditionning in common areas. NO watersports on the beach all closed. Buffet closed 2 days a week (never saw that before). Rooms were clean but thats about it. Buffet very small and VERY VERY HOT. Blacklisted this one save your money go somewhere else its bareley a 3 star. As for employees, some were great other seemed to be drained and also overwhelmed with the lack of fans and heat in their work areas.

My family (2 adults and 7 yr old) had a wonderful time at this resort. Beach: Beautiful blue water with sand that wasn't rocky and rough on the feet! I didn't find many remnants of seaweed, so they did a great job of keeping it clean. Waterpark: We loved the lazy river and spent most of our time in it. The bigger slides that adults could ride were not visible from the main section and we did not see any directionals. Lifeguards kindly informed us of where to go for the larger slides. I recommend that you wear water shoes since this is a water park, but also the ground is really hot when you're not in the water. Entertainment: We enjoyed Snick Lounge. Bring cash to put into the machine so that you can play air hockey or billiards pool. Snick Lounge also has retro arcade games for free! We also checked the app to catch where character pop-ups would be to save some $$ and not do character breakfast (although I heard from another guest that the food was worth the $$ since they love lobster). Family Shows: The resort did a great job of putting on nightly shows to entertain families and let the children participate a little. Food: We pretty much ate all meals at Explorers Table (I think it was named something else before??). They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style. You can also get some items cooked to order at two of the stations there. BurgersPH was a fun experience. We enjoyed Dominican Night to experience local cuisine without having to leave the resort. Service: The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful; although we did run into one male server at the Explorers Table restaurant that wasn't too hospitable. Suite/Room: We booked a swim-up suite which left us disappointed due to the smell in the room and I found many mosquitos flying around our room every day (so they must not treat the outside area for mosquitos). Had I known before booking about the dengue virus (mosquitos transmit) that is rampant in Caribbean and Mexico, I would not have booked a swim-up suite. Other reviewers mention nausea and I wonder if they actually contracted dengue. Also, if you are family that likes to be around others and not secluded, don't splurge on a swim up...the infinity pool is much better and has a swim-up bar!

Excellent
ĺ˘ĺ˘The hotel has a car at counter 35 at the airport exit, but there is a fee of 40 dollars for a family. Check out to the airport, there is also a car to send, but also pay 40 dollars per family. The wait time was very long when checking in. The waiters seemed to be very busy and very inefficient. The room sanitation is so-so, and the towels and bedding feel very old and not clean and white. But it feels very good after moving in. The hotel is very large and it takes two days to familiarize yourself with the environment. All-inclusive food and drink, including drinks, there are many restaurants with different dishes, very rich, and rich in seafood. There are also many small living rooms that provide food and drink during non-dinner times. In short, you can find food at any time. The beach and sea water are very beautiful. There are different large-scale show performances every night, which is surprising because I did not see the introduction of the show when I booked the room. All inclusive of eating, drinking and having fun at the hotel, a great experience. The test for the new coronavirus is provided free of charge the day before departure, and the result is obtained on the day of departure. You need to present the test result when you check in.
GGuest UserItâs a very great resort and people out there is very kind. The restaurant Skybar has a beautiful seaside view. Johanny is very nice and kind to help us check in. Something went wrong with the air conditioner but they help change another room. Very great.
GGuest UserOcean Blue is a medium size resort. Not small. Not huge like Iberostar. However it has lots of fine dining (5) onsite just like the huge ones. Their beach is perfect with lots of free cabana like shaded seating. Only surprise was our scuba shop was onsite but actual dive boat was 2 resorts down the beach at Iberostar. A 10 minute walk, no problem. This side of island a bit choppy for diving. Smoother on South side. Resort super clean, safe and friendly staff. More young families and older couples. No Spring Break teens! Highly recommend this resort for families.
GGuest UserThis trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! Shout out to the activities director Miki for making our stay extra special!
GGuest UserOk. First off I don't know how anyone could give Marcos and Magdelina anything but 5 stars. They are both fluent in Spanish, English and several other languages which made everything very easy. When I wanted to practice on my Spanish Marcos would speak with me in Spanish and when I wanted to speak in English we spoke in English. If you read the other reviews, some people were confused about where they were and reviewed this place in error. I was traveling solo in the Dominican Republic as a single woman and I was slightly worried before arriving, but the second I walked into the garden late at night to check in - all my fears melted away. The family was sitting having a casual conversation with guests and the kids were playing on the ping pong table. They welcomed me like family. The most gracious couple I have ever met. In addition to being met by Marcos and Magdalena I was also met by a friendly dog which made this feel even more like home. As far as my room went, everything was clean, very spacious, had air conditioning in the bedroom, a mini fridge and some snacks and drinks in the minibar. I settled in immediately. I also ate dinner there every night because the food was so amazing! They have four different menus to choose from, including Dominican food, Caribbean and even Polish food. All of which was absolutely delicious. The service was incredible and it was a true experience that I will never forget. I even got to play air hockey with the kiddos! I almost don't want to write this review because I'm afraid I won't be able to get a reservation when I return next year! Now let's address the fact that this is not an all-inclusive resort. This is a small bed and breakfast that is run by a family. They have a recycle mentality and everything they had is reused and repurposed and I love that vibe. If you are one that wants fancy and luxury or no culture, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're a solo traveler that wants to feel like you're part of a family 1000% recommend. I will return to see them many many times. âĽď¸
DDagumaijiushiwanerThere are flamingos, good beer, and the female receptionist who checked me in was super friendly. There is a beautiful beach and seaside. There are singing and magic shows in the reception bar at night. Every female waiter I met was very good, warm and friendly. The male waiters ranged from very nice to unfriendly.
VVidal ClaramonteIt has been a pleasant stay. The customer service provided by the hotel has been satisfactory in general. The all-inclusive offer could be improved from my point of view. And for that price it could have included the transfer. Improvable facilities, especially the gym, which is not suitable for this hotel, is very small and inaccessible, it seems like a maze to enter. And the spa is also very poor and not even included in the offer of the all-inclusive package with a superior room. When in Spain 90% is included both services, transfer and spa. Great hotel, great chain, but my face of satisfaction for some other things remains indifferent for that reason... The variety in the food buffet was not too much either... it is compensated by the customer service and the environment of virgin beaches. Then a detail is the overweight in terms of street vendors outside and inside the enclosure...even with the massages...
GGuest UserThe resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didnât work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. The resort has potential if they stopped it up on service, food, drinks and entertainment.
JJuliette BernadetteWe had an okay trip to DR. The âhotelâ is more like apartments, and people do seem to live here actually also. The rooftop pool is so awesome, and literally the best part of the place. The room is clean, but we killed probably 4-5 cockroaches in the room. Stove was all rusty. When arriving, the door didnât lock & we were 2 women in their early 20s who are both ďź 130lbs. When requesting a new room, they âfixedâ the door and refused to give us a new room. Scary location - we didnât feel safe walking around at night here as women. Also, were scammed by a very nearby restaurant called âBohio Punta Canaâ. Free breakfast was awesome. No conditioner, only shampoo and âgelâ? No hand soap. The shower seems to be salt water. I would honestly recommend staying on a resort if you come to DR, otherwise you might never want to come back.
