This is a beautiful place surrounded by nature, very peaceful and quiet but with all the comforts you need for a great stay. We loved the pool and the beautiful rooms, and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area - including Wilpattu national park, a lagoon/mangrove trip, and walking along the lagoon at sunset. The staff were lovely and very attentive and helpful, and made our stay very enjoyable. Our kids loved spotting all the wildlife around the resort - monkeys, frogs, birds and butterflies. Great wifi in the room (a bonus!) and a lovely open air restaurant Food was very tasty and they kindly made a special dinner for us of amazing sri lankan curries as we are vegetarian 😋 A lovely stay that we really enjoyed, thank you!

This is an amazing place for a nature loving family/couple or groups. Away from all the hustle and bustle of city living, share the experience with true nature (make sure to have a plan for creepy crawlies!!!) Plenty of activities to do both at the hotel premises or few minutes’ walk or drive, highlights are Safari tour at the Wilpattu National Park and boat or kayak ride at the nearby lagoon. Staff were so polite and dedicated to delight you…I wish to mention Mahesh from the Front Desk and Krishani from Marketing who made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for making us feel like royalty!

We verbleven hier 2 nachten met ons gezin en het had zeker een nachtje meer mogen zijn. Hele mooie locatie, tuin volledig aangepast aan de omgeving (loopbruggetjes, veel hout, hutjes die passen in de stijl van jungle/bos,... ), hele vriendelijke mensen, lekker eten, staan letterlijk dag en nacht voor je klaar. Echt een topservice. alles ook netjes en verzorgd. Vanop de uitkijktoren heb je een heel mooi zicht over het bos en kan je tot aan de lagune kijken, mooi bij zonsondergang of zonsopgang. Wij hadden een kayaktocht gereserveerd met ons gezin op de nabij gelegen lagune, helaas bleek dat niet mogelijk omdat er een kayak vermist was, maar ze hebben ons meteen een waardig alternatief voorgesteld en zijn met ons de lagunes en de baai opgevaren met een bootje met schipper, we kregen ook heel wat uitleg en waar hij kon liet hij ons ook wat extra zaken zien zoals lokale manier van vissen enz. We deden ook een safari in het nationaal park van Wilpattu, Heel mooi park qua natuur, maar op een vogel na geen dieren gezien, en daarin waren we blijkbaar niet alleen hebben we de dagen ervoor en erna vernomen van andere mensen. Dus het is wat af te wegen of je dat al dan niet doet. Er zijn andere parken waar je op zijn minst wel een olifant te zien krijgt.

Excellent service and should visit at least once in your life surrounding 👌🏻🔥it has easy access to wilpattu sanctuary. It’s just a lifetime experience you can get if you are a nature lover. Food was amazing and it’s the best place to get very much Sri Lankan feeling
