Haiyi International Apartment

I booked a city-view two-bedroom for about 1300 a night. Honestly, it's really not worth it. If you could get it for 600-700, then maybe others could consider it, but paying over 1000 is just not worth it. First, the hygiene was terrible. There was a lot of dust under the table, and even a dusty eyebrow pencil. The bed rail they gave us had a lot of stains! I really couldn't trust it with my child. We checked out after just one night and moved to a different hotel. Next, the facilities were old. The floors and sofa, among other things, were in poor condition and looked quite dirty. Then, the service was mediocre. I contacted Trip.com to report the hotel's issues, hoping they wouldn't feature this hotel prominently in their recommendations. Trip.com called the hotel for feedback, and the hotel's response was that since I hadn't expressed my concerns to them during my stay, they wouldn't offer any explanation... (I hadn't even asked the hotel for an explanation initially, but after hearing their attitude, it just added to my impression that 'this hotel isn't serious about serving its customers'). The location is okay, and having a kitchen and washing machine is convenient when traveling with kids. However, staying in a hotel dirtier than my own home really dampened my mood, and there were many things I dared not use. The bed wasn't big, only 1.5 meters. I didn't take many photos because I never intended to complain to the hotel directly. I'm usually too lazy to write bad reviews, but this time I decided to take the time to let everyone know about some real issues with this hotel.

The sea view is fantastic! It's super convenient being right next to the metro station. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making dining and shopping easy. In the evenings, you can also take a stroll around May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center.

The hotel's location is very convenient, and the service is good too. You can also buy fresh produce and have it prepared at the hotel, and the seafood is absolutely delicious.

Booked a two-bedroom ocean view suite for my family. Waking up to the sea view every day was fantastic. It's a two-bedroom, one-living room suite with three bathrooms, meaning each bedroom has its own private bathroom for ultimate privacy. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station and MixC shopping mall, making shopping, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. In the evenings, ordering late-night snacks was a breeze, with a delivery robot bringing them right to our room. The hotel is situated in the heart of Shinan District, surrounded by numerous attractions like Badaguan, the coastline, Olympic Sailing Center, Yanner Island, Signal Hill, the Church, and the Naval Museum. Getting around to these spots is super easy by taxi or a hired car. The hotel breakfast is a buffet with a great selection of both Western and Chinese options. Finally, a big shout-out to the hotel butler, who was incredibly responsive and provided excellent service.

The room was spacious and the butler service was very responsive. Having a kitchen and washing machine in the room was super convenient. The only downsides were the weak water pressure in the shower and the large, but useless, bathtub. Several lights were out and hadn't been replaced, which made it feel a bit less than a five-diamond experience.

The Executive Family Suite boasts unbeatable sea views and an incredibly convenient location right next to May Fourth Square. Every room offers a 180° ocean view. The front desk and room service were decent, even providing a first-aid kit. Food deliveries can be brought up directly by robot. The room is equipped with a washing machine that also has a dryer function, but the facilities are a bit dated. The TV remote's power button was broken, and the hairdryer was noisy with very low power. Overall, I would still choose Haiyi International next time.

The hotel room was very spacious, and the view from the window was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was extensive, I especially loved the pan-fried dumplings. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from May Fourth Square and China Resources MixC.

This Dragon Boat Festival, I brought my family to Qingdao for a trip, and the hotel we stayed at was quite satisfactory. The room had central air conditioning, a refrigerator, a washing machine (with a dryer), and even a kitchen where we could cook. We bought seafood from a nearby farmers' market and borrowed pots and pans from the hotel to enjoy a delicious seafood feast. Food delivery was very convenient; the delivery person would drop it off downstairs, and a robot would bring it to our hotel door a few minutes later. The kids loved this novel experience and had a blast. When traveling with young children, comfort is key. Most hotels only offer a bedroom and a bathroom, but the rooms at Haiyi Hotel were spacious and made for a very comfortable stay.
