Qiyun Hotel Apartment (Qingdao Vientiane City May Fourth Square)

I rarely leave reviews, but today I'm taking the time to write one because I don't want others to fall into the same trap. I never imagined there could be such a terrible apartment in Qingdao. First off, the location is good, but the apartment name I booked wasn't even listed at the front desk. The check-in was handled by a different establishment's name, and the guy who checked me in offered pretty mediocre service. The hallway of the apartment building was dark and dingy, and the room itself smelled moldy and stank. The facilities were old, and there wasn't even toilet paper or a shower cap in the bathroom. What's more, the room they gave us looked nothing like the pictures. I wouldn't stay in this room again, even if it were cheaper. It was just awful. That night, I checked prices for similar rooms in the same building, and they were only around 200 RMB, but I paid over 600 RMB when I booked. What a rip-off! And the bathroom lighting was insufficient. Honestly, it was just terrible, terrible, terrible.

The room was spacious and bright, clean and tidy, offering great value for money. The service was excellent, and the location was perfect. Definitely worth a visit! Plus, food delivery comes right to your door, which is super convenient. Highly recommend!

The hygiene was poor, there was a strange odor. The window could only open a crack, so the smell in the room, a damp, moldy scent, couldn't air out. On the plus side, the location is truly convenient; the subway is right outside, and the elevator goes directly to MixC Mall, making it easy to get anywhere.

Great location, I stayed here once ten years ago and it was excellent value for money.

The room was spacious, though the facilities were a bit dated. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to MixC shopping mall which offers plenty of dining and entertainment options. It's also just a 10-minute walk to May Fourth Square, and there's a subway station nearby.

The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, feeling very cozy. It was spotlessly clean with no strange odors, which I really appreciated. The heating worked great, so it wasn't cold at all. All the appliances were there and convenient to use. The front desk service was very thoughtful, and they replied to messages quickly. Plus, the sixth floor has direct access to MixC Mall, and it's close to the subway station. For this price, the value for money is outstanding. Definitely a five-star review!

My stay exceeded expectations! It's fantastic value for money, located right in the city center, less than a 100-meter walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided great natural light and an expansive view. The room also came equipped with a fridge, washing machine, microwave, and induction hob, making it perfect for long stays and offering 100% convenience. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient. The 6th floor connects directly to a shopping mall, which is very handy for dining. The elevators also have key card access, so there's no need to worry about security. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, perfect for an evening stroll. Highly recommend, I'll definitely choose Qiyun again next time I'm in town. Extremely satisfied! 👍

The soundproofing in the room is excellent; once you close the door, it's very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, washing machine, and even a small pot for cooking seafood. The front desk service was also excellent, always ready to help and providing very detailed recommendations for local attractions. I rarely write reviews, but I just had to praise this hotel – it's truly run with heart. If I come back to Qingdao, I'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended to everyone! [Heart emoji]
