The location was very good. It was very close to Tiger Stone beach which was a beautiful place. The streets around this hotel are very cozy, lined with pines. The hotel management was very cooperative and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. I only missed one thing and that was a connection between the lobby and the room. There was a disconnection between the two and it felt like I was living in an apartment room. Else everything was perfect. I recommend this hotel at 北戴河。

Highly recommend! The most convenient location in Qinhuangdao, you can walk to the beach, shopping mall, restaurants, university and have easy access to nearby Beidaihe, Nandaihe or even Anaya. Check-in was simple, the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was large, clean with a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast is also available at the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway - a worthwhile trip even when it’s cold!

Great location and great rooms including the fitness center. However, the staff were terrible. On the first day they gave us a room which had dirty tissue paper at the toilet area still there. After complaining they changed our room and while one of us were in the shower they mistanenly gave our room key to another guest who then tried to enter our room. They compensated us with free breakfast but such an error was not expected at a Marriott hotel in the first place. Very disappointing. It also felt like the staff didn't really care the whole time with a very emotionless style of talking. Unfortunate.

The room is warm. Suitable for family travel. It is a 4-5 minute walk from Tiger Stone Park. The hotel is affordable in the off-season. There is a bus stop downstairs near the hotel. The room was comfortable and the provided hair and skin products were great. However there are no English channels to choose from and the bar at the top was under construction although we did not see any notices saying that it was closed. The main issue we have with this hotel is that they would not hold our luggage for more than 2 hours and we had to pay to have late checkout... which was a prorated price of the room. The hotel was empty and our train was not until the evening. The lobby is small and multiple times other guests would be sleeping on the couches. And the convenience store is locked and you have to scan using WeChat and enter in personal information to buy anything. And then you have to use the system to unlock the door so that you can get out... I stayed at this hotel last year and really liked it. But I plan to stay across the street from now on because the hotel service here was so poor and it seemed like they had never had foreign guest (they couldn't read the passport information or Chinese visa for whatever form they needed to complete). The hotel was much better last year.

The scenery was STUNNING. If you are planning to take a quick 2-3 day trip to the beach, this location is perfect. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the public beaches and a couple parks. The service and food at the restaurant was mediocre, but everything else was exceptional. Quite a few seafood options available in the area, but not much else. No microwave or fridge in the room.

I recently stayed at a hotel with my daughter and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. The breakfast provided was poor in terms of variety, same menu everyday. They put water in orange juice when it was run out. However, the location of the hotel was excellent, as it was conveniently situated near the beach and not far from railway station. On the downside, the room size was incredibly small. Considering these factors, I believe that this hotel did not live up to its 4-star rating and would not recommend it for a luxurious stay.

Highly recommended - less than 10 minutes from the train station to the hotel and there are several buses you can take. Plenty of food options around, and a couple of buses that go to the Shanhaiguan scenic spots. Staff were really helpful and welcoming and the room was very comfortable - I had a great rest. Very quiet.

I have had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I had a large, well-furnished, elegant room. I tried to upload a photo but was not successful despite it having less than 1 MB. The hotel staff was helpful with the bus route to the Old Dragon Head, a must-see if you are in Shanhaiguan. Additionally, they were friendly, offering me fresh fruits. I will return to this hotel if my future travel does take me to Shanhaiguan.
