Exceeded expectations! The service was excellent, and they even offer a shuttle bus. The starry night sky was absolutely stunning.

I know this is a popular destination and everybody wants to try it out. But do not stay more than one night. Literally nothing else to do other than the 4x4 tour. Bring your girlfriend/wife here, not a place to enjoy with children. More like a romantic one time experience type of thing. It has limited services, do not expect much. Hot water is limited, they charge you extra for everything, like even coffee or tea. They dont take your luggage, you literally do everything. It is because they dont have much staff, so I understand. Very friendly people though.

This hotel is unique. I have a good stay. I felt safe the entire time. The foods was nice. If you want to avail any tours, no need for advance booking. You can arrange it in the reception. The staff and tour guide are nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

There was no evening activity.. you have to pay to look into the stars which i found pretty much trying to snitch money from tourists! So kinda boring and no life to the cam after you get in and take some photos!
Food was good tho! Staffs are friendly! Doms are good!
They just need to add some activities to their camp to make it lively otherwise people will not be coming back here or stay more than a night!

The hotel is located outside of the protected area. However, it’s also very quiet and private that you’ll need to park the car at the meeting point and take the hotel four-wheeled car to go further inside. Staff are friendly and warmly welcomed us. Our bubble is clean and comfy. The restroom is hidden at the back of the wall and has no door. Bathroom amenities are provided but could be better quality. There is time limit to use hot water as the hotel is in the wilderness (until 23:00 hrs. if I’m not mistaken). Our package comes with buffet dinner and it’s quite good. Mostly local dishes. Looks clean and hygienic. Breakfast is decent.

We really enjoyed our stay at UFO Luxotel. One thing to note is that the hotel is not within the Wadi Rum protected area, so it is about 5 minutes drive to the main gate. The hotel does have some partnership with the local bedouins who can take you on a desert or camel tour, but it is better to liaise with the local bedouin on your own. The bubble tents are really nice, made of plastic, comes with a standing shower, washbasin and a comfortable bed. There is air conditioning inside the tent. Outside the tent, there is a hammock and some chairs. At night, the weather in the desert can get quite cold so we enjoyed the special fur blanket provided in the room. There was a stargazing photography course but we did not sign up for it. The food was absolutely delicious, from the dinner with local dishes and underground baked lamb, to the breakfast buffet. Since our tent was quite far from the entrance, there was a buggy to send us to our room. But on the day of the checkout, after calling reception, the buggy took a bit longer than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the desert in these luxury tents, and the price was affordable.

Absolutely loved the stay at Luxotel. From the moment you srrive till you leave, you’re taken care of by a pleasant group of staff. The rooms are clean and nice and words can’t express how unreal the place is. Secluded and you don’t get wifi in the room which keeps you away from the busy life.
The food at the restaurant is amazing with a vast array of delectable foods. I thoroughly enjoy the stay.
Also, please arrange the 4 hour tour for 70 JOD with the hotel. We had a sunset tour and it was by far the best thing I’ve done today. Loved the stay and the staff and so thankful for making the stay unreal.
