Quanzhou Zhixing Wujie Homestay Reviews

This was the worst hotel stay ever. Arrived in the night and couldn’t enter because no one was at the reception. Had to wait outside in the rain until a guest saw us and opened for us. First thing that greeted us was a cockroach and whole place was dark. When we got our rooms, we were horrified. The courtyard room is not an apartment to your whole family. Other than the rooms, everything else is shared with other guests. Don’t be mistaken for the photos. In the “living room” of our private apartment, there is an altar with incense constantly burning. While we respect other religions, the whole point of me booking me own apartment was to have my own space? This was not declared in the booking. Rooms were FULL of mosquitos. There was a single room in the Courtyard “apartment” that we were not allowed to do no. 2…….even if you are a paying guest. Just cos they didn’t upgrade. There were water marks, mould everywhere. It was very late that night and this made my family had a very uncomfortable stay. The staff offered me to go upstairs to check out another room but we were really tired from our flight. But she kept insisting at 11pm+ and mosquitos kept flying into our room while she insisted to keep the door open to convince us. The following night, they put up mosquito coils EVERYWHERE. The smell and the altar incense combined was just unpleasant, we couldn't sleep well. And to top it all off, there was a HUGE cockroach that came out from our beds while we were sleeping. That woke us all up. We gave our feedback to the staff and at the counter, we noticed that they have placed CCTVs in the common areas. However, the CCTVs are pointing towards the room. If we hadn't known or draw our curtains, whatever you were doing in the room would have been recorded on the CCTV. This is a horrible place and for the price, you can go to a nice hotel near Wanda Plaza instead. My relatives who were locals were shocked that we paid for this. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. we We paid $166 usd per night, I showed the staff and asked if she would pay this money to stay here. She couldn't answer and was embarrassed....cos she wouldn't too.

Next to Kaiyuan Temple, in the ancient city, I didn't expect to be able to eat home-cooked meals. No wonder Quanzhou is so popular recently.

It was my first time to visit Quanzhou. I was worried about the inconvenience of taking a taxi, so I chose Zhixing Wujie, which has an extremely advantageous location. The rooms in the B&B are ordinary, and the courtyard is full of the flavor of home, antique, but the aunt who manages it must be given a six-star rating! (She is the most considerate person I have ever met in a B&B) She gave advice on travel and food, and helped to heat breakfast and send watermelon when I got up late. If I come to Quanzhou again, I will choose this place.

I brought my parents and children here to play, and I chose this one after a long time. It's right opposite Kaiyuan Temple, and it's very convenient to go to West Street. It is a house with a small courtyard and has its own little characteristics. The service is great, we even have a small group set up, and there are a lot of places to eat around. It’s good for the small family to come out together

Location: The location is excellent. West Street is very close to walk. It is very convenient to buy and eat in the surrounding area. You can take a small car at the door. Service: The service of the B&B lady is really very good. We stayed on the second floor and helped us carry our luggage. She prepared fruits for the children in the evening and brought us water when we went out. All kinds of services were very considerate. When I left, I gave the children small gifts. Breakfast: Breakfast is simple but very delicious. The elder sister is very good at cooking and made us a dinner which was very nice. Highly recommended, will come again next time!

The environment of the homestay is very comfortable. The reception auntie was very good (we didn't bring a power bank, so the auntie directly brought one to our room and replaced it at any time if it ran out of power). The breakfast was also very rich and you could take it to the yard to eat. It was very comfortable. The auntie was also very enthusiastic and would accompany us to buy local specialties. Walk to the left to reach Kaiyuan Temple and alleys. Walk to the right to find many unique small bars and cost-effective B&Bs. There are also local fireworks nearby. If you really want to feel the cultural atmosphere of Quanzhou, this B&B is very suitable.

This B&B has convenient transportation and is an excellent choice for exploring the West Street of the Ancient City. The room is clean and tidy, and the Chongwu courtyard is nice. The weather in Quanzhou has been pleasant these days. It's a good time to sit outside for smoking and drinking. It's natural and airy, and you can enjoy yourself. Sister Fang is warm-hearted and her service is attentive and considerate, making you feel at home. Knowledge and practice have no boundaries~~ There are no boundaries to learning, no boundaries to knowledge, and no boundaries to practice!

There are a lot of delicious food near the B&B, and it is very convenient to take out or walk. There is a delicious Ginger Duck restaurant next door to the B&B, highly recommended!

The location is so great. It’s quiet and convenient for traveling. The boss is warm and thoughtful. The room is spacious and bright. The balcony is comfortable and you can see the church bell ringing. I love Quanzhou so much.
