Free parking behind the hotel, enter the car park next to the McDonald's drive through. Limited spaces. Parking on the pavement will get you a €30 fine. Walking distance to the marina, beach and plenty of restraunts, pubs and some supermarkets. Kitchen in the apartment is an induction cooker, microwave and a kettle. Some cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Buffet breakfast is some cold cuts, cheese, sliced oranges, melons and kiwi fruit, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled, sunny Side up and boiled eggs. Baked beans, saugages, bacon mushrooms and roasted tomato with cheese. Portugese egg tarts, raisin danishes, chocolate rolls, apple turnovers. White bread, wholemeal bread, croissants and some rolls with butter and some jams available. 3 Small lifts they can fit 2 persons with suitcases. Lighting mostly adequate in the rooms amd living area except for the bathroom which was too dark. Nice balcony area. In the evenings, it was cooler to open the doors than rely on the air conditioner.

Starting with the positive points, the hotel has a very good location. Close to the Vilamoura marina and with many services nearby. On the negative points, in addition to the apartment needing renovation and the intense smell of the toilet septic tank, the service was not good. We asked for a late checkout, which we were told was impossible. After offering to pay if necessary, we were told it was possible. The amount charged for checkout at 4:00 pm was the total amount for the night. Something absurd and incomprehensible, as we were in low season and the hotel was practically empty. There was no attention or discount, nor friendliness in the entire interaction. A bad experience especially for this reason.

Resteront,bar were closed .Construction work noise all day. booked 3 days, on last made complaint and asked for refund. They said they could no.jave a refund as it was a third party I used. Called yourselves and your reply from the hotel was they did not log my complaint so cannot give me a refund. In the T and Cs or at any time there was no mention of the problems above.POOR POOR POOR.

Luna Olympus is clean but the bathroom (especially the shower) needs to be upgraded. Disappointing that we were not informed at time of booking that dining facilities (including breakfast) was not available until June. The grass around the pool area is very thorny and we had to wear sandals all the time. The staff were courteous and friendly at all times. Hotel well located near good quality restaurants & beautiful walks along by the Harbour, which is spectacular. This is not a 4 star hotel, maybe 3 star.

Fantastic location, probably better than the Tivoli Hotel even. Massive hotel room, HUGE in fact. Decent facilities, even though we were out of season. Nice beds, really clean, basic amenities but everything you need. Went with two kids, 16 and 14 and they were happy. Only slight issue was with the hot water, not quite enough for three showers, never mind four. Would definitely come back. Really happy few days, thank you.

A very clean and tidy hotel..not the most luxurious but that's in the price..we had a 7th floor marina view apt which was more than adequate..a great position..the lizzy bar which I frequented was fine and on our stay not to noisy..YOU GET WHAY U PAY FOR..Good size apartments...Staff very good..never mind the bad reviews..you get them in every hotel..value for money.x.

Horrible front desk staff- unprofessional and unwilling to be of service. Franklin needs to learn how to be an active listener - the morning after my check in, I stopped by to provide some information on how dirty the bathroom was- mold on shower curtain, hair on surfaces, dirt in the corners of the bathtub- shower handle was loose needed to be tightened- Franklin was doing everything but listen to my issues. Franklin made no apologies for the inconvenience, made no eye contact, the entire time it felt like Franklin wanted to get the conversation over with asap. Ana is cold and unwelcoming- she never greeted me when we entered the building. Ana just stared me down and I was the first to say hello every time. I had stopped by the front desk to pick up a safe deposit key; Ana, and another guy in a suit stood behind the desk, neither one of them said looked up to say hello, ask me how my stay is, make eye contact etc - basic hospitality etiquette. No one made us feel welcomed or even acknowledged us. We spent 10days here and it was a waste of money. Do not come here. I asked to store my luggage, Ana didn’t offer assistance, said coldly said “there” and pointed to an unlocked room, where anyone can access guest luggage.

Absolute perfect room (808) so spacious. Complete with kitchenette and all pots and pans that you would require. Plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom for clothes. Huge balcony with superb views of the marina and the sea. Definitely booking again for next year.

We are here for 1 week after a 12 hour flight delay finally arriving at 1am in the morning. Requested a high floor at the back of the building as I’ve stayed here before and knew about the noise. We got a 4th floor room at the front!!!! Went straight to bed but the disappointment kicked in as soon as we woke up. The room is shabby, dated, broken and nothing much has changed in 9 years since my last stay. The bathroom is appalling (see photos) with the smallest shower cubicle I have ever used. The doors do not close and the shower tracks are filthy with mould as are the tiles. We have broken mirror doors, holes in the floor tiles, tatty scratched furniture, skirting board missing, wardrobe doors that don’t open, the list is endless. I have stayed in better 3 star hotels and paid a lot less. I asked to be moved but was told the hotel was full, I contacted Jet2 24 hour helpline and 3 days in am still waiting for a rep to speak to me. Am still here if the Manager wants to pop in. The road noise is not great as you have endless traffic and show offs roving their engines at night then the bins are emptied at 6am….. On a positive the location is fantastic, the breakfast is good and the hotel is kept clean. But what’s that saying, you can’t polish a t**d. Needs some serious investment. I have made an online complaint to Jet 2 as the pictures they show on their page are misleading and nothing like the room we are currently staying in.

Unfortunatly there was no request of a room facing to the back of the Hotel in your reservation, as we did show to the JET2 representative and we did not know it. When guests have a problem We are always available to help , and honestly , even after checkin with the all receptions Team , none of them seems to know that you have requested to reception to move rooms. Sometimes is not possible in one day, but according to the check out we always try our best , to move the guests as quick as possible, when we are informed. Please accept our apologies for the situations reported. I was dreading our visit after seeing some reviews. We arrived about 20-30 and it was a smooth check in, we were on the 6th floor with a Marina view, The apartment was huge , we immediately went to the Marina to eat as it was late. We went to bed early that night as we were tired after travelling, the bed was huge and very comfortable. In the morning and we had a look around the apartment and almost every cupboard and the doors to the bathroom and bedroom were all chipped, bashed and worn, the bathroom roof was all warped and didn't fit, there was no coffee maker, not even a perculator despite been advertised on *********** as having one. The view from the Balcony was stunning but the 2 plastic chairs were disgusting, we were paying £200 a night for this, is it too much to ask for to have a nice comfy seat or two. We went for breakfast , it was ok, but beware of the coffee, it is really bad and never improved all week The hotel seemed to be mostly groups of men and groups of women who were very noisy at times. The sunbed ****** were out in force again here claiming their beds before breakfast, also beware of slamming doors, this isn't exclusive to this hotel, it just seems to be a thing with selfish visitors. We had a problem with smokers on either side of us when on the balcony and our last night as spoiled by a party next room to us. The bars downstairs are open to 5am and are very noisy, if you want a relaxing holiday, then this is NOT the place for you
