Aquashow Park Hotel

I went alone but never bored. I had a late check in and everything was spot on. I communicated with the hotel about my flight change and quick response they booked me a taxi which was there waiting at weeee hours of the morning. The cleanliness was %100 rooms clean I cannot fault. I enjoyed the bus ride, the Uber was ok. The area was quiet if anyone looking for closeness but the taxi price was good. There was so much to do. My last day went to the spa over by the aqua park OMG it was rejuvenating only thing was you have to pay with a discount if you are staying at the hotel., for 2 hours 25 euros I think it can be a little cheaper for hotel guest. But I am not one to complain it is a kids friendly hotel so expect to hear kids running around planning to bring my grandkids next time, I know they will enjoy it. Breakfast was ok, ate outside for dinner there is so much place to choose from. Just a Uber ride away. A big shout out to Bruno very good cocktail and he gave me tips of places to eat out side. Teo, Isa and Bia - The best entertainment Stuff so far we met. There are very friendly and funny and very creative from painting through water sports, football and scirnce .They have a lot diffrent kind of plays for kids and teenagers. Top class, hope to see them again.

Stayed here for nine nights, two adults, three kids, 16, 13, and 9. Lovely Hotel, clean and relaxed with excellent staff. We went half board, breakfast and dinner included. **I would not recommend this option**. Food is good but extremely limited. We found it very samey after three days. Just to note, drinks are not included with dinner. Only three options if you want a glass of wine, the house white, red and rose. None of which are nice at all. The only other option is to buy a full bottle if you want a nice glass with your meal. This was very disappointing and limiting. Also only the spanish Estrella draught beer on tap, surprisingly they don't have super bock or sagres which are excellent Portuguese beers and local. The aqua park is included in your stay. We had enough of this place after three days, but it's nice to come and go as you please if the kids want to come and go if they want. Sunglasses are not allowed on any of the slides, or in the pool at the water park, the life guards will pull you up on this with their whistles. I had swimming shorts with zipped pockets and just popped our sunnies in their anytime we went down a slide. Food in their is decent and reasonably priced. The rooms are lovely and clean. However no tea/coffee making facilities are present. Bathroom doors do not have locks which is strange. Also only the ground floor rooms have enough room on their balconies for sun loungers, the rest just get table and chairs. The location of this hotel is both a good thing and a bad thing! Because of where it is, There are no shops or anything near by. Nowhere to go for a walk in the evening. This mainly attracts families only for the water park. There was never a scramble for sun loungers and there was always plenty of them around in the morning. The entertainment team do a great job of keeping the smallies entertained, though the music can be very loud for everyone else at the pool! Lovely relaxed feeling around the pool ourside. Worth noting, do not waste money on transfers from the airport. We paid €100 for a prepaid transfer with love holidays. Our flight was cancelled with aer lingus and ended up getting an earlier flight and list out on the transfer. We got a taxi for the five of us, all of our bags, and it was only €28 to get to the hotel. Downloaded the bolt taxi app and we used it throughout out our stay. Very handy and reasonably priced. You can pick how many seater vehicle you require. All in all fantastic hotel and park that could with some subtle changes. If you fancy a walk in the evening after dinner or to walk somewhere for dinner, this is not the hotel for you. Ideal for short family stays realistically. Local people are extremely friendly and helpful, we will definitely return to the area. Paul in Ticketland was legend for bike hire, we cycled from Quarteira to the marina in Vila moura, we'll worth it!

Just back from a 9 night holiday at the Aquashow hotel, we are a family of 5 Aged from 16 to 9 Lots of good things about this hotel The hotel is very clean which is always top of my list, rooms are basic but nice except the lack of locks on shower room doors and the see through walls which my teenagers hated but that aside no complaints The aquashow water park is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel and daily admittance was included in our package which was good value , the park itself is amazing, brilliant slides and rides , but 3 or 4 days of it is enough My kids all too old for kids club but it all looked really good to and the staff were great The hotel itself is kinda rural, with no footpaths etc so unless you get a taxi you can't really go anywhere, but tbh that's not a big problem we just downloaded the bolt app which is brilliant it's very cheap to go to Queteira or Vilamoura only 5 to 10 minutes away lovely beach , marina and beautiful restaurants and shops Portuguese taxi drivers in our experience are very helpful and friendly We went half board which is breakfast and dinner, breakfast is lovely cannot fault it The buffet dinner was disappointing, food a bit bland and boring , have experienced half board in other simliar hotels that was far superior , also they don't do a lunch service , you can buy lunch at pool bar but it's a tad over priced and not a very varied menu Also disappointing that I could not buy a nice glass of white wine to have with dinner , only wine by glass available was the house white which was not nice at all, you had to buy the whole bottle to get nice wine , cheapest was 17 euro , no water or cordial available at dinner so had to buy water or fizzy drinks for kids ( it all adds up ) The bar staff are brilliant Fantastic cocktail makers very professional and it was a pleasure to see them work Hotel pool is lovely very clean This hotel has an over all chilled out feeling no rushing for sun loungers all very civilised which again was a pleasure, bit of annoying loud music at certain times around the pool but not all day long so can't really complain This hotel has many good points , if they improved the dinner buffet I think it would be perfect, also a kettle in room with tea and coffee should be available. We hired bikes from Paul in Ticketland in Quteira , we cycled to Vilamoura it was alot of fun , Paul was great to deal with and very reasonable. We also went to MAR shopping centre which was a 10 minute taxi ride , there is a brilliant designer outlet there very pleasant experience We also took a boat trip to see the caves and saw dolphins very close to the boat which was a beautiful experience The boat trip itself was a bit boring better off to book a trip where you get off boat for a while The staff at the hotel are really great and I hope management appreciate the good team they have If you're looking for karaoke bars and lively strips this is not the place for you If you want a
