Half way through our stay here. The rooms are lovely and clean, and updated to modern expectations in an old building. Staff have been wonderful. Really good value for money. The only downside so far has been the restaurant (Louise Taverne &Bar a Vin). As we were checking in to the hotel this morning, other customers told us the place is lovely but not to eat here. We decided to go anyway, just wanting a drink while we waited for our laundry to dry… and we may have thought about eating there if all was ok. We were totally ignored, despite trying to attract the attention of the man in charge of the outside area (around a dozen tables, four of which were occupied). We asked someone else if we could sit down. They referred us to him. We waited while he cleaned a couple of tables, walked past us to talk to someone, walked inside and fiddled around in there for a while, walked out again and cleaned a couple more tables, went round us to get to another table where he rearranged the setting. Walked back to near where we were standing and then turned around to chat to some people he had served since we had been there. Don’t know what sort of self-important trip he was on but we left and will not return. But… that led to a delightful experience at 900 Rue Saint-Paul across the road (separate review coming).

Great restaurant in the Looby: we arrived at the hotel around 9:30pm, didn’t have much option for late dinner. We had ‘Beef Cheek’ and ‘Black Cod’ at Cabu. Food was amazing! We loved food so much, went back to their grab & go/ coffee bar after we checked out.
Other things: Nice to have Nespresso machine and Crabtree amenities

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions in Quebec City. The building is an older building with so much character and, I feel, so much wasted potential. While our beds were clean and comfortable the rest of the room was quite dirty and run down. If you walked barefoot on the floor your feet became immediately dirty. There was a previous guests fake eyelashes and coffee stains on the window sill. I’ve been a housekeeper in a historic building so I do understand the work and maintenance required to keep them clean and fresh, and was disappointed that this building isn’t being kept at its best.

We loved this hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, modern, nicely furnished and had a pristine bathroom. Staff was friendly, check-in was fast. The hot breakfast was handy when we had a lot of activiities planned for our 4 day stay and easily kept hunger at bay past lunch. Levis itself is very pretty down by the river and it was easy and convenient to the ferry to hop on, go across and spend a day and evening walking around Old Town Quebec. The hotel was in a good location right off the highway and had restautants, shopping and conveniences nearby. Would definitely stay at this hogel again.

We visited this hotel for a few days to check out the pool and atmosphere based on the photos. here are some of our thoughts 1. The pool has no shallow end, make sure you bring floaters if you have kiddos who cannot swim. 2. The sauna is just a warm water tub with jets but is quickly crowded as many don't like how cold the main pool sometimes gets. Just depends on your hot/cold tolerance. 3. Do not look at the ceiling in the pool area, it is nasty with lots of rust on the ceiling and filth hanging down from the ceiling fans. It's far away but still unsightly. 4. The rooms are dark and outdated. The coffee maker in our room worked on the first day and never again. There's a dampness / cigarette smoke smell that lingers in the rooms. I'm not sure if these used to be smoking rooms but that smell never went away. Both TVs in our room were also broken by day 2. If you value quiet, do not ask for a courtyard/pool view, it is very noisy! Rooms facing outside the hotel are quieter. 5. The onsite restaurant is descent, food pretty good but understaffed and they get quickly overwhelmed if large groups show up, which they do on our trip. They did their best but were not ready for the influx. Overall we had a good vacation but value for money just isn't there, especially if the hotel gets busy.

Stayed August 2024. Check-in and out was easy. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable. The high ceilings are very nice. Front desk lent us a block as there’s no usb port in the room. A very good breakfast with loads of variety served with a smile. We really wanted to swim. Hot tub was hot. Pool water was not moving and had gobs of hair and spit floating on top. Went to the desk for a chat and the next morning water was moving and clear and we could smell the chlorine so someone had attended to it. Too late for us so we were disappointed but hopefully the next guests enjoyed it.

Wonderful stay - the property is as charming as it is convenient. We had the studio with kitchen on the ground floor. The back door opened right to our private parking space so it was really easy to get around. Everything was spotless and well appointed. We checked out the terrace but of course it was cold and covered in snow. It’s sure to be wonderful during warmer months. The guest portal is very helpful. This was our first visit to Quebec City and our son’s first visit out of the US - this made a terrific first impression! There are restaurants and shops up and down the street. We would definitely book again in the future. Thanks especially to Jade, who was consistently patient with my questions!

GGuest UserIt was a short stay to visit Quebec City during the holiday week, and we had a good experience. The hotel staff were very attentive, and I was delighted that they upgraded our room and had free breakfast for two during our entire stay. Service was fast and they answered some of our questions related to commuting. The location is great as it is in the street filled with restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Will choose this location again when we come back to Quebec.

RRUIThe hotel is in the old town, very close to the attractions and within walking distance. Just in time for the Christmas season in Quebec City, the streets and alleys are all dressed up with various Christmas decorations, and the lights are very beautiful at night. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, with two large beds very comfortable. Because there is no elevator in the old house, the residents can only climb the stairs, but fortunately, they can exercise on the third floor. There is a Thai restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and the business is good. I originally booked a room without breakfast. I upgraded it to include breakfast at the front desk. Thank you very much. The parking fee for two nights was also confiscated before checking out. This trip was really worthwhile.

CCalgaryParentsUpon arriving in our room on the ground floor, we found it to be quite hot. However, we thought that maybe the A/C had been turned off, so we turned it on and hoped that it would cool off. We set off to explore a bit. On our return, the room seemed even hotter, and we had a night of very little sleep due to extreme heat. The air conditioning was letting out a tiny bit of cool air that could only be felt by lying on one side of one of the beds. In the morning, we contacted the off site staff, and said that the air conditioning appeared to not be working properly, and stated that we had experienced an awful night of no sleep. We asked if they could at least find a fan, and have somebody look at the unit. We were told that they would look for a fan. By late afternoon, my son, walked back to the hotel for a nap, and the room was unbearable. There was no fan delivered. When the rest of us returned, we were shocked with the heat,and literally sat with cold cloths on our heads attempting to keep ourselves cool. We immediately tried to contact the off site staff again. Response was slow, and when we finally heard back, we were told that they couldn’t find a fan. My husband said that there was no way that we could stay in the room with the temperature the way it was, and asked would they be able to move us. The lady we spoke to said she would call back in 5 minutes to either change rooms, or move us to one of their other properties. Great we thought. However, no phone call came, only a text to say that they couldn’t move us anywhere and that they could refund us but could be of no further help. Although we appreciated the refund, the hotel had all day to deal with this issue, but couldn’t even find a fan. This left us, on our vacation, spending time trying to relocate. Thank God we found somewhere, but we specifically chose the St. Pierre due to its location, and we are now considerably further away. I rate this hotel 2/10 for customer service. They were not quick to respond, and we felt they should have called us back and offered a personal apology rather than a terse text of “so sorry”. Would definitely not stay again

My husband and I stayed here as an add on to a trip further away. We had an emergency and had to cancel the remaining part of the trip but missed the cancel time. I hate to waste money so we went anyways. TMI WARNING!! We live roughly 6.5 hours from Quebec City. We drove this with a stop or two. I am of the belief that I will wait until almost doomsday if it means I don’t use a public toilet. That is me, heavily into the, yuck no thanks, category. Well old me is now on strong medications for a non communicable, my body hates me, condition. These medications go from zero to run in my GI tract and after roughly 7 hours in the car we arrived to the hotel. I was feeling ill and tired and really needed to get to the room. The nice girl at the desk reminded me of the 3:00 check in time. It was currently 2:46 or so. I asked her if an early check is was not possible then told her I would wait outside about 10 more minutes. After the longest 10 minutes we checked in and I found the room had a heated bidet, SCORE! Otherwise, it’s a lovely hotel in a very nice spot. Bed was quite hard in room 222 and our room didn’t have towels when we checked in. They brought us a few and that was fine. The mini toiletries were missed in the clean up, they were not full. I’m a bit of a clean freak and saw nothing that concerned me. Seemed nice and clean. Broken curtains should be replaced for full coverage since people below can see in the room. No elevator, quite steep stairs so be ready to climb if on the top floor like we were. One nitpick would be the mini split was confusing to run for us as we are not familiar with them. Didn’t figure out the ac properly until we were leaving. Requested a late check out of 1:00, usual time is 11:00am. They said no to 1 but yes to noon. Would definitely stay again in spite of the mini emergency and little missed things. JJenny Kim1I liked the hotel location and facilities. The indoor pool was amazing and the live stage was so good. I would definitely visit here again and book the terrace view next time.
However, there are few things that I was very dissapointed.
The room was not managed well. There are white things are around the floors (it looks like painting or wall paper. I asked to change the room, but the new room has the same problem).
Hair dryer was phsically broken and not working.
Heater is not working and when I turn on, it is very noisy.
There was a party when we stayed and it was very noisy until almost 1 pm. We called at 12:30 and the reception said they send a security. However, it was still noisy after 30 mins).

GGuest UserClean but aged lodging, as expected in the old town center. Great vibes in the surroundings. It doesn't have a sign, just trust Google maps when it says you've reached your destination. There's no elevator, and only 1 or 2 rooms on the ground level - not suitable for the elderly if you can't get the ground level rooms. It's right in the center of the old town, and right next to a nice park which also houses military?! 🤔
Recommend visiting the Wedding Veil Falls about 20 min drive away. You can get much more up close and personal than the Niagara falls. Enjoy a fanciful and delicious meal in the cafe at the top of the falls 🥰

TtoshoppExactly what you expect. Easy to check in. Can be challenging if you don’t speak French but staff do try. Ask for renovated room as these are comfortable. Beware All Quebec City changes random extra taxes which they don’t negotiate which isn’t fair.
