Really cozy place, clean and with activities available during the week!
I had a pod at the top and I didn't feel too safe though, going up the ladder all the time. But I'm not a tall person so it might depend on who goes up. 💪
The emplacement is wonderful, everything is close by. And though we do have a kitchenette, there's also a food court not too far which is great!

1. Location: It's convenient and great if you don't have a car as it's only 10 mins away from the city centre. There is a bus stop to go to the airport and city just next to the hotel. There's the Queenstown Trail track just down the road if you wish to have a pleasant walk along the lake. 2. Service: The guy who did our check-in did it like he was repeating a song that he was fed up with singing. Good for those in a hurry who like express check-in with 0 personalization or care but that was NOT a 5* check-in. 3. Room: Booked a standard room on Luxury Escapes, but I don't think the hotel should be on this ”high standard” booking platform. Our room was on the ground floor, so everybody could see us and our belongings. The room was old and small. We had very little room left being 2 people with 2 big luggages. One of the two glasses in the bathroom was still dirty from the previous guests. The blinds didn't work properly and we had to find tricks to close them so people wouldn't see us get changed or sleep! Your sleep might get disturbed if passersby are loud and drunk lol. The washing machine was literally just in front of our room door (a thin door) and woke us up super early one morning. The TV didn't work. Big lack of plugs outlets. Overall, if you're planning on spending the entire day outside and getting back to the room just for sleep then you're fine but don't expect anything fancy.

Cannot believe how good this place was!... We ended up getting a private 8 bed dorm for 6 of us, the room itself got a little hot, but the staff quickly brought us a fan which helped massively. Toilets and showers were so well kept and the lounge, washing machines and drying rooms made the whole process so easy. Kitchen is absolutely huge and perfect if you plan to prepare you food there. But the staff were something else, unbelievably friendly and one lady even lent me 50c out of her own purse for the lockers, completely didn't need to do it but wanted to help me out!... An absolute gem! I will DEFINITELY be staying here again in future.

Really really nice for solo traveler. I stayed here for 3 nights and found everything amazing for this price. Especially it’s not at the Center of Queenstown so you won’t hear the noice of people partying at night. The closet they got in the room was suitable for storing skis too. Very good choice for people who want good sleep and lodge vibe after skiing.

Experience the most captivating view of the mountains from the location of this hotel. Across the lake to the snowcapped mountains. The spacious balcony is inviting on a sunny day. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows superb. The general layout of our apartment was spacious and equipped with bath tub and all the necessities of a kitchen are available. When we stayed, renovations were underway and although noise was not a problem (long weekend) the reduction in parking spaces was awkward. The only negative I could mention was the bar food was pretty ordinary and staff a little inexperienced but otherwise totally worth the money .

We wanted to stay close to the airport, a short drive to town, with easy access to the highway towards Te Anau/Milford Sound. This hotel ticked all the boxes. At first arrival, we entered the parking lot and noticed how tight and small the parking spots were. After an elevator ride up to the lobby, we met with staff who were very professional and kind. We went to our room which was nice and updated, had a great view, and a spacious floor plan. We did have an issue with the sink, where it was clogged when we got to the room. While we went to visit Queenstown, a staff member unclogged the sink but didn’t clean it so when we arrived back, the residue from the clogging was still in the sink. A disappointment, and ironically a perk, was the small balcony. Most of the small balcony was used up by an air conditioner. The positive is you had a nice view of the mountains and Queenstown. The bed was large and comfortable. The couch, living area, and kitchen were really nice. We really enjoyed the shower and took advantage of the hot water while we had it. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The DoubleTree cookies are always a plus too.

Friendly front of house and house keeping staff. Although there are staffing shortages everywhere, the staff here were always available and helpful. Our house keeping team although on a 3 day turn around service, did not get to service our room while we were there, offered towels and extra tea, coffee without hesitation when requested. Thank you so much! The decor is quite out dated and while at first it was off putting, (cream/green interior hallway and furniture, corridor stained carpets, seeing the size of our room and how clean it was made up for it. The bed was a king/possible super king, very comfortable and extra pillows provided. The continental breakfast is more than sufficient. Again the waiting staff I approached where happy to top up, add more (the pastries). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is a top notch hotel, just 5 minutes drive from the airport. If you want a quick rest from a long journey this one should quickly come to your rescue from travelling fatigue.
Everything about the hotel is good including friendly staff. The only drawback is its location which is a bit far from town or main activities. If you don’t have a car then surely you should be prepared to Ubar and Tax every time you want to go out.

Just realised I forgot to give a review last year . We stayed at Settlers for a few days at the beginning and end of our holiday last year and have stayed at this excellent motel before . It offers a lovely spacious and relaxing place to unwind . There are many homely touches . The owners are friendly, engaging and endeavour to make everyone’s stay thoroughly enjoyable. We are cat lovers so particularly enjoyed the visits of Charlie their cat. We have every intention of staying at Settlers when next in Arrowtown.

Brilliant views over the lake and very peaceful. Our room was missing an iron but the staff went out of their way to find me one which I really appreciated. It was very useful to have a washing machine and tumble dryer on site. There's no issue with accessibility if you are fit and able but not all rooms will be suitable for those who have mobility issues. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and a 30 minute walk into Queenstown which suited us really well.
GGuest UserWe were incredibly fortunate to book in and have our very first Le Goûter experience, at Le Salon Rouge, in The Sofitel, Queenstown. It was an Afternoon Tea like no other that we've ever experienced before. It was very romantic, an afternoon tea in a gorgeous elegant setting with relaxing speakeasy-style music softly playing in the background. The presentation was such a special surprise, with us each being delivered a book filled with decadent French treats. My book was from Paris, and my husband's was from New York. Inside the books were bite-sized delicious morsels that had been perfectly hand crafted by Sous Chef Imogen Liao. Each item is made on-site and was created with absolute precision! If you're ever in Queenstown, this is an experience not to be missed. Unlike many other Afternoon Teas in Hotels, this is affordable, and is such a fun, and very French experience to enjoy with your loved one, or a friend. I have been to several Afternoon Teas and High Teas across the world and can say without question that I have never experienced one like this before. This is definitely unique, I have never been surprised like I was in this one. The freshness and attention to detail were absolutely second to none. This is a memory that we will treasure forever. We have included photos from this wonderful experience so that you can get a true picture of what we are talking about. Please enjoy.
GGuest UserI stayed at the La Quinta Wyndham for 2 weeks in March of 2023. I didn't rent a car. The friendly staff went out of their way to teach me how to be able to travel around Queenstown New Zealand via the public transportation system. House keeping was excellent. They even put my dirty dishes in the dishwasher at times for me.
GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were a family group so we required three rooms. Everything was beautiful, comfortable and cosy. However the highlights were the evening meal(s) we had at the restaurant. We stayed three nights and had such a wonderful time the first night we dined at the hotel that we ended up eating there every night. The menu was comprehensive, our group ordered widely and we all enjoyed each dish. I particularly loved the pumpkin soup, but the steak and pork dishes as well as the hamburgers , were equally popular. Attention was paid to detail, and this was especially the case with the deserts and their superb presentation. The staff were cheerful and generous and made us feel like welcome guests.
AAnonymous UserThe service and employees were great. Some of the rooms are however difficult to get to and I had booked a premium room with a lake view and unfortunately was given a room where the bush had blocked my view and it was ground level so I couldn’t see much
NNur RuzannaAll clean and good, except that there’s a post-cooking smell lingering from the previous occupant, it’s only obvious when we just enter the room, but after a while it’s bearable. Location is good, about 10 min walk from the city centre with not too many slopes. Check in and check out was convenient, and great online communication with the host with very prompt replies. Kitchen amenities were complete and nice. However, shower gel ran out after our first shower. Ironing board cover too thin and the stand didn’t seem very stable, probably needs replacement. Overall, still a decent and pleasant stay.
GGuest UserThe décor of the rooms were excellent and the small touches - such as the music that plays when you walk into the room, and the small bar area, the art work, and the welcome book - were really special. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quite, and the size of the room was prefect for two people. There is a sauna available to use by in-house guests, which is excellent after a long hike. Overall, the quality of the room was value for money.
There is also a restaurant, but sadly it was not open the day that we stayed (Monday). We were quite upset about that as we had read very good reviews about the chef and food quality! Whilst the staff were nice at check in, they did not give much information about the premises (i.e. they didn't give us a tour or anything), and we had to ask a lot of questions.
The location is outside of town, but a short drive if you have a car, or a short bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the hotel).
Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here!
CCarlieMSWe stayed here two separete nights. We booked in advance and we were nervous to book the same hostel in case we didn't like it, but fortunately we did and it didn't dissapoint at all. The recepcionist was nice and welcoming to us, everything is clean, it has several kitchens and the common room is like a huge family room with sofa, covers, TV and board games all super cozy which is the perfect enviroment to NOT have a heart attack when you find out that the borders where you are connecting home are all closed and probably you'll have to stay in NZ forever (not a bad thing tho, but I was pretty poor at that point, lol). Anyway, the people is nice, the dorm room has its own bathroom inside which is a massive YES! The lockers are huge plus there are tiny lockers with outlets inside to put your devices (genious). The bunks are hardly bunks because they are pretty solid wood-made so even if your bunkmate moves a lot you won't notice. It has a courtine which is awesome for privacy, its own night light and outlets by your bed. Maybe the only downside is that the parking lot is really (really) tiny, which makes it very difficult to maneuver, specially when you have never driven in the left before, jaja. Other than that, awesome stay, if I ever go back to Queenstown, definetely would stay here again! :)
GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed here for a stop in Queenstown for our honeymoon! Centrally located and close to the downtown! Rooms were very clean and great to have parking for our JUCY van! The check in office was great helping us out with an issue of double booking. I highly recommend you stay here! Drive over to the Bungy bridge, Skyline luge and Ferburger!
We stayed here on two separate occasions on our recent South Island trip - two nights in a ”one bedroom flat” at the start of our trip and then one night in a ”one bedroom studio”. Pros: Great location, close to town with a short walk (albeit up a bit of a steep hill). One bedroom flat had a lovely small balcony that looked out over Queenstown and the Remarkables with a small table & chairs. Cons: Very uncomfortable beds in both units. Walk-in shower in the bathroom with exceedingly high water pressure meant that water went all over the bathroom floor during showers. Rooms had signs of general wear & tear (paint missing from walls, worn areas of carpet, bathroom vanity on a sloping angle) that could be fixed with a bit of TLC. Small couch in the one-bedroom flat oom was uncomfortable and useless with the dining table pushed hard up against it (no room for space in between the two anyway). No electrical plug in the bathroom in the one-bedroom studio (old-school 'shaver only' plug). Notice in the room said that guests were expected to wash their dishes before departure, or face a $25 fee - think this only encourages people to rinse their dishes without washing them properly, as the dishes all looked less-than-clean. The one-bedroom studio smelled like stinky shoes & the linen smelled bad as well. Unit was downstairs and the noise of people walking around in the unit above was really loud.
