Really cozy place, clean and with activities available during the week! I had a pod at the top and I didn't feel too safe though, going up the ladder all the time. But I'm not a tall person so it might depend on who goes up. šŸ’Ŗ The emplacement is wonderful, everything is close by. And though we do have a kitchenette, there's also a food court not too far which is great!

I stayed in a King Mountain View room, and while the room felt small it was made up for the fact it was new, modern, well designed and comfortable. The open plan entrance and lobby area felt welcoming. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate was essential and super convenient to fuel up before heading up to the mountain early every morning. And happy hour in the lobby in the evenings 5-7pm. It is 5 minute downhill walk to the start of town and a 9 minute walk to the NZ Ski bus. On the way back to the hotel there is one block of steep hill to walk up but it is only a two minute section. Even though it was only a short walk into town, after a full day on the snow, travelling back and fourth to the mountain, it was hard to get the energy up to walk into town for dinner each night, being cold and tired. I caught the bus from the airport to the hotel which was super easy and a quick 20 minute ride. The airport bus stop is right outside the terminal. I bought a Bee card on the bus for $5 and the trip was only $1 for adults and 0.75c for children. The bus stopped at Blue Peaks directly across the road from the hotel. And the return bus trip to airport was just as simple. Overall a great stay, with new modern facilities, a fairly central location and friendly staff.

We are a family of three and we spent nine nights at the Crowne Plaza in Queenstown. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location but these are the only positives. We had complimentary breakfast for nine days but didn't eat it once during our stay. We attempted breakfast but it was well below average. I can recommend the orange juice but we much preferred to go elsewhere for our morning coffee and a bite to eat. We also ate at the restaurant on the first night but that was enough for us. This was also below average and we never returned during the remaining eight nights. The hotel is very much a three star hotel standard. It's an ageing property with small rooms and very limited hotel amenities. The hotel isn't cheap and I would say that it doesn't represent good value for money. This is one of the worst IHG hotels that we have visited. We were actually looking forward to leave, which was a shame as Queenstown itself is stunning. We are now spending a few nights in the Hilton Hotel in Auckland before returning to Australia. In all honesty we all had a huge smile when we checked in to the Hilton and felt so relived to be back in the type of hotel that we are used to.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and ate in the Observatory restaurant both nights. Service wasnā€™t too bad with friendly and attentive staff, the food was good too (prawn curry and chicken baoā€™s). I was on the fifth floor and had a nice big room that was a little let down by the view which overlooked more of the hotel rooms. Only issue I had was all of my towels were removed when my room was cleaned, so on the morning of checkout I had to dry myself with a hand towel which was obviously not ideal. Reception staff were okay but I didnā€™t find them overly personable compared to many of the their hotels I stay at. Itā€™s only a short walk into town although be aware that when coming back the hill is a bit of a steep one - worth bearing in mind if you have children or elderly family. All in all though a pleasant stay

Quite close to the town centre, within walking distance with free parking. Back in dec 23 there was a lot of road construction so the experience could be better. But the hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Bed was comfortable and had a balcony (ground level) to dine out with beautiful skyline.

Experience the most captivating view of the mountains from the location of this hotel. Across the lake to the snowcapped mountains. The spacious balcony is inviting on a sunny day. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows superb. The general layout of our apartment was spacious and equipped with bath tub and all the necessities of a kitchen are available. When we stayed, renovations were underway and although noise was not a problem (long weekend) the reduction in parking spaces was awkward. The only negative I could mention was the bar food was pretty ordinary and staff a little inexperienced but otherwise totally worth the money .

Had to stay an extra night in Queenstown, due to a weather event. Booked Quality Inn, using new TRIP app. Everything went very smoothly from then on. Green Cabs dropped us to door in pouring rain, staff were pleasant, friendly, sorted room, spa and dinner reservations in a jiffy. Monika stands out, with her pleasant smile and blue hair :-) Didn't catch the name of the tall gentleman on the bar, and also waited on our table at dinner. Opened Bar early, so we could enjoy a wee drink before dinner. Had a nice wine selection. Good variety of GF meals and snacks. Even organised Green Cabs again the next morning to get our flight. All in all a great stay, and we will be back.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hidden Lodge Queenstown Only a 5 minute drive from the heart of town and central to all the local highlights that you will want to visit - make sure you take the 40 minute drive upto Glenorchy for some beautiful views. The property itself is immaculate with a homely feel but with everything you need. Shared spaces of dining room, comfy couches in front of a fireplace, sauna and even a hot tub! The rooms are comfy with everything you want after a day of exploring Queenstown. Super comfortable bed, strong hot shower and an incredible view from every window. As previously said by other guests - the highlight are the hosts David & Wendy. Knowledgeable and engaging locals who are happy to provide tips and suggestions to ensure you enjoy your trip to the fullest. David makes a great coffee and breaky and has plenty of wine knowledge to help you find the best wines in Queenstown, and Wendy is just a ray of sunshine who makes sure you feel at home while also giving the greatest tips on local restaurants and bars. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay - I will definitely be back - maybe for Spring or Summer! Do yourself a favour and stay here when in Queenstown - you wonā€™t regret it!!

Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is a top notch hotel, just 5 minutes drive from the airport. If you want a quick rest from a long journey this one should quickly come to your rescue from travelling fatigue. Everything about the hotel is good including friendly staff. The only drawback is its location which is a bit far from town or main activities. If you donā€™t have a car then surely you should be prepared to Ubar and Tax every time you want to go out.

UUkwonderboyCannot believe how good this place was!... We ended up getting a private 8 bed dorm for 6 of us, the room itself got a little hot, but the staff quickly brought us a fan which helped massively. Toilets and showers were so well kept and the lounge, washing machines and drying rooms made the whole process so easy. Kitchen is absolutely huge and perfect if you plan to prepare you food there. But the staff were something else, unbelievably friendly and one lady even lent me 50c out of her own purse for the lockers, completely didn't need to do it but wanted to help me out!... An absolute gem! I will DEFINITELY be staying here again in future.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were a family group so we required three rooms. Everything was beautiful, comfortable and cosy. However the highlights were the evening meal(s) we had at the restaurant. We stayed three nights and had such a wonderful time the first night we dined at the hotel that we ended up eating there every night. The menu was comprehensive, our group ordered widely and we all enjoyed each dish. I particularly loved the pumpkin soup, but the steak and pork dishes as well as the hamburgers , were equally popular. Attention was paid to detail, and this was especially the case with the deserts and their superb presentation. The staff were cheerful and generous and made us feel like welcome guests.

JJ LindsayThis is a fantastic hotel with great engaging staff who show you around the hotel and explain everything when you arrive. The hotel provides drinks, milk tea and a coffee with a coffee maker in the the room. Downstairs there is a really nice hang out area with a complementary happy hour and tea, coffee and sweets. The decor is very moody and is unique from any other hotel I've stayed in. A huge amount of detail is paid to ensuring presentation is on point. There are nice views from most rooms and the location is nice and close to the middle of town. The only disappointment was $20 to use a carpark. That being said, there is plenty of on street parking if required.

LLEIIn the middle of the mountain, it may not be as convenient as the frontage hotel, the suites are furnished, the balcony faces the lake, and the scenery is very good. Don't save money and book a room without a lake view. The only downside is that you have to walk 10-20 minutes without going to the pier and the town center. Itā€™s hard to go back to the hotel during the winter night.

NNur RuzannaAll clean and good, except that thereā€™s a post-cooking smell lingering from the previous occupant, itā€™s only obvious when we just enter the room, but after a while itā€™s bearable. Location is good, about 10 min walk from the city centre with not too many slopes. Check in and check out was convenient, and great online communication with the host with very prompt replies. Kitchen amenities were complete and nice. However, shower gel ran out after our first shower. Ironing board cover too thin and the stand didnā€™t seem very stable, probably needs replacement. Overall, still a decent and pleasant stay.

GGuest User Friendly front of house and house keeping staff. Although there are staffing shortages everywhere, the staff here were always available and helpful. Our house keeping team although on a 3 day turn around service, did not get to service our room while we were there, offered towels and extra tea, coffee without hesitation when requested. Thank you so much! The decor is quite out dated and while at first it was off putting, (cream/green interior hallway and furniture, corridor stained carpets, seeing the size of our room and how clean it was made up for it. The bed was a king/possible super king, very comfortable and extra pillows provided. The continental breakfast is more than sufficient. Again the waiting staff I approached where happy to top up, add more (the pastries). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

GGuest UserThe restaurant is good, and the pizza is delicious. It's the old-fashioned Italian oven-baked pizza, a little burnt on the edges, but very fragrant. However, as a hotel, I will never choose this hotel in the future. The facilities are old, the water pipes are unstable, there is no dishwasher or oven, not even a microwave, only an induction cooker and a toaster. The coin-operated washing machine costs 20 dollars a time, and there are only two washing machines in the entire hotel. The curtains are made of thick wool and haven't been washed for who knows how long, so they have good light-blocking properties. There was no waiter in sight, and there was no phone in the room. If I had any questions, I had to go to the front desk. Even if I could use the navigation system to get the bus route, I still got errors, and no one gave any feedback. There was obviously a stop very close to me, but I was surprised that the last stop prompted me to get off. It is a certain distance from the town and takes 6 stops by bus, but the bus time is not completely accurate. So if you go quickly, you can get to the town in half an hour, but it may take an hour to wait for the bus.

GGuest UserI stayed here two nights on a Riviera Tour of New Zealand. The hotel consists of different linked buildings. However it is very easy to get lost despite them giving you a map. Our rooms overlooked the gardens unfortunately and not the lake. The rooms were ok. A bit tired and in need of refurbishment. However the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. The location of the Hotel is at the top of a very steep hill that leads into Queenstown. The walk up is taxing for older people so be aware. The hotel has the usual facilities of bar, restaurant gym and pool. I can't comment on the gym or pool as we did not have time to use it. The outlook from the hotel is over the lake towards the Remarkable Mountains one of the locations used in Lord of the Rings. It is an absolutely stunning place. Queenstown has lots to do. We took advantage of this. The breakfast was good with hot and cold buffet. Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries as well. A group of us ate in the bar on evening after a tour. Everyone enjoyed their food. Drinks were not to expensive either. The place is a pain to find your way round, so allow time for getting lost when meeting people.

Very Good
GGuest User1. Location: It's convenient and great if you don't have a car as it's only 10 mins away from the city centre. There is a bus stop to go to the airport and city just next to the hotel. There's the Queenstown Trail track just down the road if you wish to have a pleasant walk along the lake. 2. Service: The guy who did our check-in did it like he was repeating a song that he was fed up with singing. Good for those in a hurry who like express check-in with 0 personalization or care but that was NOT a 5* check-in. 3. Room: Booked a standard room on Luxury Escapes, but I don't think the hotel should be on this ā€high standardā€ booking platform. Our room was on the ground floor, so everybody could see us and our belongings. The room was old and small. We had very little room left being 2 people with 2 big luggages. One of the two glasses in the bathroom was still dirty from the previous guests. The blinds didn't work properly and we had to find tricks to close them so people wouldn't see us get changed or sleep! Your sleep might get disturbed if passersby are loud and drunk lol. The washing machine was literally just in front of our room door (a thin door) and woke us up super early one morning. The TV didn't work. Big lack of plugs outlets. Overall, if you're planning on spending the entire day outside and getting back to the room just for sleep then you're fine but don't expect anything fancy.
