Quepos Hotels with Airport pickup service

We stayed here a week between Christmas and New Year's and this place was fantastic. The villa was spacious, the beds extremely comfortable, the AC worked exceptionally well, and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was great for a dip after a long day of hiking, and we even saw both spider and white-faced monkey while sitting out! One even tried to steal some food! The breakfasts were delicious, starting with a plate of fruit, and then you have a choice of 5 different types of breakfasts. We all loved the Tico breakfast (eggs, rice & beans, plantains, sausage, and tortillas. Delicioso!) But, the best part of Villas Mymosa is the staff. Everyone from the chef, to the cleaning ladies, to Kathy the evening bartender, to Karen the morning server, German the night watchman, and Amy and Kathia the office managers, were so friendly and accommodating to our every need. I booked all our excursions through Kathia and ended up making a new friend! The Villas are located right near the bus stop from which, for less than $1, you can get to Quepos or Manuel Antonio. I highly recommend Villas Mymosa.

We spent a fabulous 5 days here. From the minute you walk in and the golf cart whisks you up to the reception in the canopy you are treated as a member of a family. The service was superb. Marco, Johnny and Ricardo were exceptional. Stephany the concierge couldn’t be more helpful and was super fast. The team had a smile every hour of the day. The pool, rooms and restaurant faultless. Squirrel Monkeys, Tuscans, macaws, dart frogs, iguanas, butterflies (and much more) all on your doorstep. Clarence the tour guide is a walking, and charming, expert. Very sad to leave - will certainly go back. You can see why it has so many awards for its conservation work. The owner greets everyone and offers his personal number - you’ll never need it.

What a beautiful and nostalgic hotel…our room had our own lap pool complete with cushioned lounge chairs…happy hour was a 2 for 1 deal and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly…we swam and lounged out at the main pool…so relaxing! A free breakfast was included with our room (other breakfast items available at additional cost)..just enough to get our morning started before we headed out for the day! Pre COVID I’m sure the outside pool bar would be open which is always a plus when hanging out at the pool! Definitely on our list when we return to Costa Rica next year!

We arrived to the hotel and the receptionist was friendly and happy to see us. We had the two story suite for our family of five and it was nice with the kids upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Everything worked in the suite. The baths were generous in size and the suite was modern in design. The 2nd floor patio had a great view and we had a close encounter with several white faced monkeys. The grounds were nice and we felt immersed in the rainforest. The pool was a comfortable size and clean. The bar service, Juan, was amazing and we chatted with Juan many days getting to know him. Happy hour is BOGO, which served our family well. The brick fired pizza was delicious and we would stay here again. Definitely consider this hotel. While it isn’t a posh hotel, it is Modern in design, quaint, personable, relaxing, small, and the employees are super nice and engaging.
