I write this review for disabled people. I attended a wedding. For personal needs I booked a day in advance and left the double room the morning after the party. Before leaving I made sure that all, or at least part, of the environment was suitable to accommodate a disabled person. I was worried about this because the ceremony would take place on several terraces of the location, I was told that there was an external stairlift, but it wasn't working. I asked if they could make it accessible but the answer was vague. As for the room, we would have discovered it at the moment but they guaranteed me a large room and services. Let's get to the point. Reaching the place wasn't the easiest thing, winding roads and the lack of signs didn't make our task any easier. Luckily there is a navigator which helped us a lot. The guests had asked to hang some balloons to trace the route, but we didn't see any. Once on site there was a parking area created between the trees on the dirt which was not very comfortable. We turned to the staff who somehow made sure they created a more suitable parking space for me. Moral of the story, disabled parking, there is not even the slightest consideration regarding architectural barriers! The room was not as large as we had been told. The bathroom was accessible but difficult to reach. There is no bidet but a toilet with shower. The high bed, luckily my son accompanied me and practically "heavily" helped me lie down. Let's get to the day of the ceremony. The place is very suggestive for the wide views towards the sea and the greenery that surrounds it but, having said that, the promises were exchanged about two terraces further down. Remember the non-working stair lift? It remained in the same state. There was an elderly person in a wheelchair, whose relative who gave up on the venture. Luckily my bold son was not discouraged and one step at a time (we must have taken more than twenty) he took me all the way down. After having witnessed the ritual, going back up was obviously more difficult and a few stops were needed. Once we were near the room, a waiter did his best to arrange a wooden slide for us to climb a couple of steps. As for dinner, I have nothing in particular to complain about, the basic menu was of a good standard both in quality and, upon request, in quantity. The staff very kind and helpful. Guests who were intolerant to some dishes complained. Replacement portions were scarce and there was no possibility of a reply. The owner is a little "brusque" if you find him in a "bad" moment and, if he can, avoids saying hello! For a structure like this it is a real shame not to be sensitive to certain needs.
