Super 8 by Wyndham Quesnel BC

Very nice people running the place but not the cleanest needs new beds, paint and a good carpet cleaning real doggy smell.

It’s a beautiful place the view is great n it’s very quit b no one bothers u other gust were awesome kept in there group n no trouble n no load noise u can sleep good

Terrible I would never go back and don’t recommend to anyone. Everything look old the bathroom wasn’t clean. My son who is 6 years old refused to shower. I can say nothing about breakfast because I didn’t want to eat unclean place. In my opinion they should close for renovation and new management because I don’t think anyone check the room before I get there. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay there. Look the pictures added.

Streets recently upgraded. Rates are competitive and the room was clean and quiet. The smoking area is too close to the rooms. This is a problem only if smoke bothers you.

Where to begin? Unfortunately I can't give this establishment a good review. I was told it was new owners who recently took over the motel. And I hope they got it at a bargain basement price. There are so many things wrong with this place that it will be an expensive renovation. The grounds are overgrown, the rooms smelled bad and are quite dated. The fans don't work, the ice machine is 'unhygienic'. The ice bucket was dusty. It is a good 'working mans' motel as there were a number of company vehicles. The only compliment I can offer is to the young man in the Hawaiian shirt. He was the nicest and friendliest person that I have ever met. He is a real asset to this place. I wish them luck to get this place up to a Super 8 standard.

Good unassuming property. Don’t let the outside curb appeal stop you from staying here. Clean and quiet, no road noise or noise from adjoining rooms. Rooms are a little dated but for the price and location you can’t beat it. Breakfast could have a few more choices but the coffee was fantastic.

Pleasantly surprised! New friendly management, now has breakfast, quiet sleep! My husband and I l decided to take a chance and we were glad we did. The hotel staff was super friendly and happy. Rooms are a bit dated but it we had a quiet restful sleep and they even had a breakfast available which is new for them. Would stay again

We arrived on August 5th at 10:00 p.m. to check in. I had made a reservation through Super Travel. The manager or owner indicated that Wyndham tried to make him work with Super Travel, but he only liked to work with *********** and **********. He was clearly reading the details of my reservation off of his computer screen while claiming not to have it . He said that he wouldn't make enough money off of it so he would not honor my reservation. At first he was going to allow us to pay for a room even though my reservation was prepaid. He said I would just have to pay an extra $20 for my dog. I agreed but shortly thereafter he started yelling and swearing in a very angry and erratic manner regarding Super Travel and him wanting to control his own motel. It was a very frightening experience and we ended up without a motel room, on the August long weekend, 800 km from home. It was a truly terrible experience! Do yourself a huge favor and do not book the Super 8 by Wyndham when you are in Quesnel.

We came in late looking for a room as we were passing through Quesnel. They had a room, gave us good service. The rooms were comfortable, clean and unpretentious. Definitely not fancy but a quiet good nights sleep. We would definitely stop again.
