Garden Hotel (Sankong Scenic Spot) Reviews

Incredibly affordable price: I paid just 9 euros/70 yuan per night. It's a private room with a private bathroom and a huge bed, located only 400 meters from the Confucius Temple. I couldn't ask for more. The receptionist is also exceptionally courteous.

It was a great trip to qufu. The hotel was super clean, the location is right in the center of the city and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I had a great experience.

First of all, it should be noted that the hotel accepts foreigners (as of October 2023). The location is very convenient for visiting the most notable attractions in Qufu (it's about 300 meters from the entrance to the Confucius Temple). There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. There are direct buses to/from both Qufu and Qufu East train stations. The room itself was good and the facilities were in good condition (there was even an ancient Pentium 4 in the room, for some reason). The staff was also very kind. My only issue is that the rooms are all smoking rooms, so that the smell of cigarettes is hard to avoid, but that is written on the booking page. Still, if you're sensitive to that, you may wish to find a non-smoking room elsewhere.

Owned by a wonderful Chinese family who would talk with me each afternoon or evening upon my return to the hotel. The grandfather and I had a wonderful discussion the day I left and he told me that they hoped I would visit them again. In the heart of Qufu, lies the life of Confucius and I was surrounded by many interesting and historical figures there. I will go back next year again.

The location is right in the Sankong tourist area. It is very convenient and cost-effective. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and introduces the scenic spots in detail. Thank you sincerely for letting me buy the products I have dreamed of. Thank you so much!

The owner is very kind. The facility felt old, but there were no bugs and it was relatively clean. The price was cheap and the location was inside a castle, so it had a nice atmosphere and was quiet and satisfying.

The service is very good, very good. My favorite caretaker uncle and aunt are very cute.

Overall, it's okay, except that the things are relatively old, there's a wall inside the window, and the hot water for bathing is unstable. The sound insulation effect is not very good, but fortunately it is relatively quiet.
