We had a quick stay here and found it to be very clean, centrally located, excellent staff, very attentive, great breakfast, slept great!

Casa Joaquin is a wonderful boutique hotel. It's so cute and clean. Breakfast was great. Francisco and Olga were fantastic and very helpful with arranging tours and drivers. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Francisco y el personal del hotel son unas personas muy amables, amigables . Siempre me apoyaron con lo que necesite. El hotel está muy bien ubicado en zonas de restaurantes, vías principales y cerca del metro. Enfrente hay una tienda donde se encuentra Enrique, un chavo muy buena onda. Las habitaciones están limpias, amplias, y con toque rústico. Sus desayunos muy ricos con variedad de frutas, jugos , pan tostado etc. Me agrado bastante mi estadía.

Franciso the owner of the hotel is fantastic!! he gave us excellent restaurants to dine at and was very helpful in arranging our taxi to the airport and even was there to greet us at 2 am when we arrived during curfew hours and also to say goodbye at 5 am when we departed. he also arranged for us to have breakfast early when we climbed Cotopaxi. the room was really nice and the hotel is a great location for walking to restaurants and shopping.. I totally recommend casa Joaquin boutique hotel, great place to stay in Quito!!

Francisco was very helpful with every aspect of our stay. From organizing the shuttle from the airport to giving us daily tips on when and where to visit in Quito. The breakfast service was second to none. 5 stars from our visit.

Why would one stay in a big chain hotel when you can experience the amazing hospitality in Casa Joaquin . Francisco and his wife couldn’t have gone to greater lengths to make our stay memorable from arranging our transfer , welcoming us on arrival to delicious breakfasts and great restaurant recommendations .

We stayed there for 2 nights, giving us a full day to explore quito. The hotel was charming, well maintained and looked like it was recently renovated. The rooms were nicely decorated and had that feeling like we were staying with someone we knew. The bathroom was also recently renovated and did not have a cramped feeling to it. Breakfast was not your usual breakfast buffet found in chain hotels. They offered a freshly made French Toast or an omlete. The buffet had fresh fruit and bread. We enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We asked for a recomendation for a restaurant within walking distance that served local cuisine. They suggested a restaurant that was 2 blocks away and had excellant ecuadarian food at a reasonable price. As an retired couple, we took a taxi to the old city, as it was a little too far to walk. There was also a mis-understanding, my inquiry into pricing of the airport taxi was mis-interpreted as confirmation, which resulted in a double booking. This was quickly resolved by hotel staff.
