Very nice hotel for the price. Clean, comfortable, modern. Great staff, including the reception people who speak English (as well as Spanish, of course). Rooms are tidy and convenient. Rooftop deck offers great views (and a fun space to hang out in during a lightning storm). Staff is friendly and efficient. I would stay there again. One thing to keep in mind, it's not easy to find apparently. Our taxi driver got very lost and we had to use my cell phone to help direct him. When you reserve, if you're planning to use a taxi, you may want to message the hotel to ask them to send you an email explaining how to get there, something you can hand to the driver. Good brew pubs next door. Very quiet area considering it's a short walk to the financial district and Parque Carolina.

We are leaving for other parts of the country today but really enjoyed my 4 nights here. Mainly local business people - I didn't see any tourists at hotel. But very comfortable - rooms are small but good wifi, lots of outlets, and plenty of hot water. Located about 1/2 hour taxi ride from Ciudad Historico and walking distance to Mariscal. Good breakfast provided each morning. Adrian at front desk was kind enough to get a driver for us for a couple of days to leave the city. They do have a small gym as well. I hope the next places we stay in Banos, Cuenca, and Guayaquil are as nice as this.

Got upgraded to a suite, huge room with big, beautiful bathroom with the best shower ever. nice location and not too far from main attractions, Breakfast does not have many options so that was little disappointed other than our stay was very comfortable. Excellent customer service.

This hotel is very cost-effective. It is run by a local. It is a single-family villa design with a small garden. It is in the city center, 2 kilometers away from Quito Cathedral, and 1 kilometer away from the park. There are many locals selling special snacks in the park, and vaccinations are also available. Very close, about 3 kilometers to anywhere, there are many restaurants and bars nearby, you can cook, many hotels in Quito do not have hot water, this one has hot water for bathing, the hotel in Quito basically does not provide toiletries, you need to bring your own , the price is cheaper than the homestays opened by Chinese people. It is quite like Home Inns in China. The Hanting is of the same level. If you stay for a long time, there is a discount. The average is only a few dozen days. You can go shopping in the street for food. There are many delicacies here. High quality hotel with grand look to interior. Nice facilities; the indoor pool was decent size and warm. Cute little outside pool is joined to it for nice weather. Good size gym. Bar area is smart and comfortable. Enjoyable bar menu. Mega pizza. Restaurant nearby. Breakfast room smart and well laid out. Excellent selection of continental options alongside cooked food made to order at the kitchen. Lots to fill you up on a day out. Room was nice and big. Do miss a carpet in a room like this but it is well styled and has all you need. Bed massive with good solid mattress. Took me a while to workout the black out blind control as there are no traditional curtains. Clean big bathroom with two basins and good size walk in shower. Easy to use safe and quality coffee making facilities. Good location for a few restaurants and spotted a bar too. Supermarket up the road. Some rooms have nice views of the surrounding hills. Finally pleasant staff who are always there to help. Bar staff were great.

I highly recommend staying at the NH Quito hotel. The service is excellent and the food is of very good quality. Dinner-Chef Jonnathan personally serves guests at their table and all three meals during the week were excellent. The dedication and hard work of the entire staff is evident in the effort they put into making guests feel at home. The pillows are great and the room service is also very good.

First of all, the Hilton Colon - like most Hiltons outside the U.S. - is far superior to equivalent Hilton properties in the States. Relatively clean rooms (no stray hairs anywhere!), comfortable bed, great shower water pressure, clean towels, nice and cozy executive lounge, etc. The room, and the property in general, is dated but things mostly work as they should. In the Southwest facing ”executive” king room, and in the executive lounge, the views of the city are spectacular. Unfortunately, the ”free” breakfast buffet is slop, with the most atrocious coffee in Quito. The exception is the made-to-order egg station and the nice gentleman who expertly cooks them. Bring your own coffee from one of the countless cafes nearby and then order just the eggs and some toast. Or, better yet, get an authentic Ecuadorian breakfast elsewhere for just a few dollars. There was extensive road construction going on during my stay on Avenida Patria, which is the main road adjacent to the South side of the property. Very loud during the day, and bright spot-lights aimed at the hotel were left on during the night for some perplexing reason. Not the hotel's fault, of course - just something to be aware of if planning to stay here in the near future. Lastly, the front desk receptionists at this hotel reminded me of the female customs agents at Quito airport. Not friendly for sure, and rather stern. On the other hand, many other staff members, housekeeping in particular, were kind and helpful. Would I stay here again? I think so, once the road construction is completed.

No air conditioning, so no heating, the quilt is too thin, the bed cover is a blanket, too heavy, a series of operations that I don't understand? Maybe it's for a strong or fat person to sleep. The rooftop scenery is beautiful, you can go up and see. Is it really unthinkable that there are no slippers? It's better to live in a Chinese homestay (｡_í｡) The price/performance ratio feels quite average I think 200 RMB is the best. My wife and I always stay overnight at the Wyndham when we arrive on a late flight to Quito after our travels. We live fairly close-by but we feel like we are extending our vacation for another night when we stay here. The hotel is beautiful and everyone we come into contact with is very nice and provides impeccable service.
