Rabac Sunny Hotel & Residence

Very nice place! Stayed here in May 2024 and enjoyed the great rooms and pool: good price/quality too. Walking distance to the beach. Super friendly staff that is very helpful with anything we needed. We have been to Istria multiple times and will be back in Rabac!

The staff is great, hotel is family oriented, I recomend to anyone especialy with kids, they have play room in two locations, big and very nice pool, enough space for all the guests, the food at the restaurant is great, the room is very nice and celan, spacious.

Great location right by the beach, nice staff and clean rooms! Rabac is a beautiful little town with amazing beaches. Lots of activities around the hotel, great pool, good food and plenty of space to lounge. Recommended for couples and families.

We had an amazing stay at Rabac Sunny Hotel and Residence! The stunning location and easy beach access were fantastic, but the staff truly made our visit special. Everyone, from the welcoming reception team to the attentive dining staff, went above and beyond. A special thanks to the director for maintaining such high standards of hospitality. The food and drinks were delicious and varied, adding to our overall great experience. Highly recommend this hotel!

We really dont know what to think. Lets start with the good things - rooms are nicely renovated. Cool colors, relaxing. The view From our room was nice, we had 2+3 room Seaside. The cars and general things for kids in the hotel are nice - but maybe cleaning them would be nice once or twice a day. The food was acceptable, some days better some days worse. Pizza usually was very tasty but we will come back to the food section later when i write about the bad sides of the hotel. Its relatively close to the center and to the nice lanterna Beaches. Swimming pool is nice and water is quite warm which is good for the kids. Now to the not so great things. Our room was rarely cleaned - even if we left the hanger to please clean the room. One day the cleaning lady was behaving like she would have some mental problems - she was screaming in our room, hitting walls and things, we were afraid, we didn’t know what is happening - my husband nicely asked her to just leave us towels and go and she said she can’t go if she doesn’t finish and went on with screams - we asked in the reception what is going on and the lady came, talked with the cleaning lady and said : SHE HAS A BAD DAY, SO SORRY… The next day something broke in the room upstairs and there was water dropping into our room making one of our sons bed wet - they came to look, told me! to move his bed away, gave me a bucket for water leaking and new sheets to dress the bed up myself - first time I experienced such behavior - do it yourself? And now to the food and restaurant in the hotel - the thing is that they just reopened and maybe that’s the reason why this was happening but…- there was constant fighting for the food , especially pizza - people would take away all food, the kitchen didn’t manage to cook fast enough or generally enough so often there wouldn’t be food or something would finish fast. The staff had a problem controlling people in the restaurant so often we would have a problem finding a table as a family of 5 because families of 3 would sit at 5 people tables… we were standing like ****** with plates and glasses in our hands and the only person who helped us was the restaurant manager - all Other waiters didn’t care at all. So our trip was ok - but it’s not even in the slightest comparable to other Valamar places we’ve been unfortunately. The place itself - Rabac- is wonderful. But the hotel is really mediocre, so sad.

The food is excellent. We had the best expirience of all of the Valamar Hotels, we would rate everything with a 5*, the food is excellent, the rooms are beautiful and cleaned every day by the cleaners, the staff is really nice, especially the manager of the restaurant Mr. Mirsad, who helped us have a really nice expirience. We will 100% visit again. 10/10
